Bytecoin is a cryptocurrency that facilitates anonymous payments between two parties. Although it is similar to Bitcoin in that it is just a cryptocurrency and works in much the same way, it is also different because it gives solid anonymity to users. Bitcoin transactions are publicly visible on the ledger, and anyone can trace all transactions through your address. Bytecoin uses CryptoNote ring signatures to make this difficult and even impossible, meaning you can make anonymous payments without having to use tumblers for transaction mixing.
