Another strategy that we all know doesn't work on the long run. Might be variations of many betting system out there, but if you are not careful and with bad luck, you will still swept by the house no matter what strategy or method you apply. And it also makes things complicated on your end, just saying.

In reality ? It doesn't , no system has ever worked against a house edge, house always wins not because there are some idiots losing money, house wins because the house edge makes everyone lose their money in the long run, doesn't matter how good you are.

You may find the best strategies and great algorithms with the intention of making your gambling a successful one but in the end all of them not at leading us as per mathematical calculations because of few practical difficulties like need of infinite bankroll in dicing and applicable table limitations in poker.

If you are looking to just learn about this for knowledge case than I am rooting for you but if you think Labouchere betting works than you are in for a bad time because it doesn't none of them works. The only way to win in a casino is to own it.

Say you won the round; you should cross out both the first and last numbers of the sequence, leaving you with:

1 – 2 – 1 – 1

The sequence is still the same Huh

Continue wagering according to the pattern until you clear all the numbers in the series. Crossing out the whole system means that you won your desired amount and completed the Labouchere system. You may now write a new sequence and follow these steps to win once again.

You missed out the most important point. You should have said: Continue wagering according to the pattern until you clear all the numbers in the series or, more likely, you run out of money. Given that every casino has a house edge, if you follow this (or any other) system long enough you will end up at zero.

Oh that's cool, how can someone continue to wager if he run out of money. This is a good reminder to those who are addicted to gambling, to have a break when you are on a lossing streak and when you don't have enough money to wage.

I've been waiting for that reminder to be said or just simply put a disclaimer.Im not familiar with this Labouchere Betting system work and when i do read up its understandable but id rather prefer on using up martingale when i do casual plays either on roulette or any other similar games. Thanks for the share up though but any strategy wont really work for long run and when losing streaks hits you i doubt you cant even hold on for too long when you said adding up $3 on each loss.

The Labouchere system works best with even-money bets on the roulette table. These bets are the Red/Black, Odd/Even, and 1-to-18/19-to-36.

First off, you must decide on the amount you want to win. Afterward, divide the amount into smaller numbers and write them down in any sequence you like. For example, you want to win US$5. Your number sequence can be:

1 – 2 – 1 – 1

However, you should create the sequence according to your liking. There is no right or wrong way of creating a sequence just as long as adding up all the numbers in your series will result to your target prize.

Next, you should add the first and last numbers in the sequence. The sum of both numbers will be the amount of your first bet. Based on the example, adding the first and last numbers (1 + 1) makes 2, which means you must bet US$2.

Say you won the round; you should cross out both the first and last numbers of the sequence, leaving you with:

1 – 2 – 1 – 1

The next bet would then be US$3 because the sum of the first and last numbers in the sequence (2 + 1) is 3.

What if you lose the round? You will add the amount lost to the end of the sequence. In this case, losing US$3 means you should add 3 to the end of your sequence:

2 – 1 – 3

Continue wagering according to the pattern until you clear all the numbers in the series. Crossing out the whole system means that you won your desired amount and completed the Labouchere system. You may now write a new sequence and follow these steps to win once again.
