seems like researchers have found a satisfactory material for making quantum chips

copper phthalocyanine

curious how that happens.... The NSA seems to have a way with clever naming schemes for their projects.....

as an aside I can not imagine how they are able to collect so much data if they don't have the most advanced technology NOT-known-to-man...

..Oz, thanks for the reply, the exploit that I was referring to is not to do with the ability to steal a wallet/iphone issue...(as I understand the quantumcopper exploit applying anyways..)

Has nobody seen this Chaos Communication Congress lecture? Is this quantumcopper exploit not a risk to the bitcoin protocol if nodes are in need of continual connectivity to the network/users ability to make transactions and there is a way to reset/disrupt that connection effectively making it inaccessible/turned off?

Or do I have it all misunderstood?

I don't have a computer sci background but I'm wondering how the quantumcopper exploit could effect bitcoin. By the sound of it it's essentially a kill switch for the internet/bitcoin users if it's properly directed... talk about at 0:29:55 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vILAlhwUgIU  is it good by blockchain at that point?
Thanks for the insight.
