There are lies, damned lies and statistics. MTwain
<…>
There are currently (as of a week ago or so) 346.808 Newbie accounts that have at least logged-in during 2018. That is by far the largest segment of users on the Forum, multiplying by over six the aggregate of all other ranks that have at least logged-in during 2018.

Without going into the details (real accounts/ bot accounts/last active month), the sheer numbers of Newbies on this forum during 2018 is an indication of the amount of content creation that they are likely behind. Furthermore, objectives differ wildly here on the forum, ranging through being informed, asking/resolving questions, contributing solidly to discussions, chasing quick crypto-bucks through campaign social, posting for campaign quota purposes, etc.

It’s when someone decides to cut corners to achieve his objectives, often with an implicit lack of respect for the community, that getting banned becomes a feasible option: cheating, plagiarism through copy/[spin]/paste, posting nonsense to comply with campaign quotas are the main ban reasons. Those all constitute cutting-corner attitudes, that flood the forum with spam, and go against what the forum tries to stand for.

The ideal form of writing by newbies feels so naive and does not meet standards and this leads to newbies being banned from the forum from now and then.

So the question is, how far is too far for newbies to go so as to prevent them from being banned from the forum? Let's listen to what our seniors has to say

Hey I believe you're under the wrong impression you'll get banned here if you do not meet the standards of language writing. This is a free for all forum and the mods will not ban you just for missing few characters, or having sloppy English, what they'll ban you for plagiarism, posting unwanted topics or similar topics again after a warning, putting up spammy links, or sending unsolicited pms.

Also remember the mods expect you to post quality stuff over quantity, one word posts, posts like dear sir, please sir give me merits, give me some btc is an open invitation for ban.

I would advise you to read all the rules of a particular section before you start to post, see couple of posts to see how people are posting, and most Importantly ask yourself am I spamming or adding value to the discussion.

You can go up to Legendary, no need to be banned if you do not cross the rules.
It's so simple.

Wringing technique is not an issue. The problem with the other newbies is that they post even if they have nothing to say, just because they are pushed to rank -up or fulfill the campaign requirements with one only purpose > Money... BIG F...ING MONEY, LAMBOs, MOONs etc.

If you skip the "get rich quickly" part, with no doubts you will climb the ladder.
