I remember reading somewhere that the bandwith needed is merely a few KB per *minute*, so i highly doubt you'll "feel" much (if any) slowdown Smiley

I have "line of sight" wireless broadband service.  The download is v e r y  s l o w.
something in the 100 or 200 K type speed.  We cannot watch youtube without significant buffering on the low resolution settings.
Anyway,  does mining require fast service, or does the packets come in and then the processor/asics chew on the data for a while?
I cannot find the simple explanation of how the data goes back and forth and at what speed for the mining and peer to peer processes.

Thanks for any insight.
