I think the OP mis-titled his question. It's not how "fast" will BFL ship. It should be how "slow" will BFL ship. If you are not celebrity or reporters, it will take up to a year BEFORE BFL will ship it to you.

BFL 50GH/s miner is obsolete, and it may take over a year before you get it.

No it isn't, and no it won't.

At it's current BFL price it is obsolete.

buy a 20nm or 28 nm, not a 60 nm product, it will be highly inefficient with electricity.
by the time you get it it will be an expensive doorstop.

i have a 25 GH/s i could ship, if you live in europe it will probably arrive within days, in the Netherlands probably within a single day. (in fact i could personally deliver it in the netherlands, you could pay me with cash on delivery).

So if I bought a BFL 50GH/s miner, how fast do you think it would arrive?

And also, will it really make me $40 a day? Is there a catch? Aren't Bitcoins rising? Is it hard to sell on Mt. Gox??

Its good if you can get it cheap, but right now the price sky rocketed...

Maybe do some research before buying an $1800 almost obsolete machine from a company with a horrible track record?

will it really make me $40 a day?

Probably not for very long

Is there a catch? Aren't Bitcoins rising? Is it hard to sell on Mt. Gox??

Yes difficulty, yes, yes if you want to withdraw your money.

That's exactly what everybody told me last time I was here, and if I would've bought an ASIC back then I would be FUCKING RICH.
Then why are you asking again? Presumably the part you conveniently ignored is that usually people tell you to spend your money directly on btc instead of buying mining hardware that will never return the amount it costs in btc.
