My brother, e dey pain say church don become marketplace. You go go church with the sole intent of receiving from God but the pastor or prophet/ess go start to bill you. The one way dey my area go carry salt, sugar, water, handkerchief come church to bless am and tell her congregation say all those items nah blessed items, so e no go be the same price e dey for market and you go see people dey rush go buy. No disrespect o, but sometimes dis people dey ignorantly enrich the pastors while their side dem dey sip gari.
E make me laff one day wen I enter dis churches, the pastor come tell me say him see me say I get bright future, say make I donate a certain amount to hear more o.
E bad say them dey take advantage of their position dey take strip people of moni and e no gud..
And I believe say e make u think otherwise about church and believe ur faith lost of not a faith lost in God but a faith lost in that house of God way way supposed booster ur owned faith

That's a business and not a church, just because majority of the churches dey do am no mean say e dey right and na so church suppose dey. You're in a wrong church if you're experiencing this constantly, change church and go to a church that isn't after your pocket but want your soul. The problem with this Nigeria na say many churches for here na business because na only business dey do this kind thing. Churches dey wey genuine but because dem no dey do miracle, we no go gree go worship. We wan worship those one wey go dey use fake miracles dey entertain us all in the name of serving God. Churches aren't meant to be business and they shoudn't be discriminating against the rich and the poor, for dat place we're all children of God and na so e supposed be.

My church Seventh Days Adventist no dey do like dat and we dey worship on Saturday. Our offerings dey, dey coded and any donations dey mostly dey anonymous unless na the one to call names but pastors there no fit do this things wey you write so or dem fit dismiss you as a pastor of the church. Churches supposed be where we escape the reality of the world to come connect with God so discrimination or fundraising no supposed be wetin we dey see two four for church. Others churches dey wey no dey as OP dey describe so make we dey move go this other churches so the ones wey dey do all this things go change as dem begin dey lose members.
