Only those who have access to free electricity are still in good profits now and they can still buy GPU at current price since they won't be paying for electricity out of the money they make, free electricity is the answer, if you have this there is no reason to wait.
Idk if there is a country with literal free electricity. What I only know is there are countries with a cheaper electricity cost and if there is such thing as free electricity that is only from solar, wind and other natural resources. I do not consider it free if you are using the electricity of someone else, you might not be paying but the other person does. It is not about electricity alone but there other factors to consider like the maintenance cost of the panels and the miners.

If they have been damage, you are still going to spend money to fix and to replace them. Add in the difficulty of mining because of the tight competition and the halving too where mining rewards now have been reduced.

best way to start buy ryzen 5 3600 cpu with gtx 1660s and try it with cpu and gpu both.
CPU mining sucks in 2022 since Monero got out of cryptonight algorithm business, better buy two graphic cards and a very low end desktop with few pcie x1 slots, I've seen some having four of these pcie x1 slots

If you want to mine on the processor, then it is better to buy a RYZEN 9 3950X, but I would rather buy 2 video cards.

Ryzen CPU are very costly on their own, the money for such CPU is enough to buy an extra GPU, it's better to buy two GPUs and a desktop computer from 3rd generation either i3 CPU will do.

I don't want to start my crypto mining journey with what if as I'm ready for anything that's been thrown at me, I have access to the sunlight can I use this to farm and mine coins just for a beginner nothing too big, I read it's possible because I'm from Africa and grid power isn't always available every day.
There are a lot of important points here:
If there is no electricity at night or there is not enough power for mining, then there is no need to invest in mining.
If you have batteries, what is the maximum power you can use for mining?

Crypto mining is good if you choose the right coins and it's bad if you mine new coins blindly, the toughest lesson I've learnt about crypto mining is stay with the biggest boys like ETH, Monero, Zcash, and few other strong ones, most new PoW coins will disappoint you.

Do you know about the IDENA project?
If not, try to find out about this IDENA project, some of my friends mine IDENA using only VPS/RDP (sorry If I'm wrong) so no need to power on device all the time, so no need for electricity all the time. maybe you can try it.

Start very slow with one GPU or two, right now profit is decreasing day by day but your main target should be the quantities of the coins you are mining, the bad the market gets the better for crypto mining only the holders become the real winner.

You need to have a taste of mining coins before you know if mining is for you or not, no matter how much someone sweet talk about mining to you it might be something you can't coop with at all, give it a try and see for yourself.

Crypto mining is bad for a newbie if they have no experience with computers, it's also bad if you want quick money, mining is only for the strong people who aren't in haste for money-making,  sometimes mining is profitable and some times it won't be.

The OP has a solar panel and located to Africa that has a reach sunlight and perfect for solar crypto mining since he will use free energy. Most of the miner starts from being a newbie before they get advance knowledge by doing it for a long time. There's a lot of guide thread here about mining and also there's a lot of expert veteran member here that can assist him if he really want to pursue his interest on crypto mining using his solar panels.

It's good if you have enough resources by doing it without sacrificing your life savings.

I would suggest what I always suggest to other people who want to start mining. No matter what resources available, even if you have free electricity start small and see for one or two months for yourself,if you like what you are seeing and you have enough other resources to invest here you can continue to add to your mining rig/s.I always encourage people who want to start mining to buy a good motherboard for mining which it supports a minimum of six graphic cards but to just start with one and if things go well to add other cards later on.

It’s hard to follow but I am assuming you have access to solar power and want to mine. If yes then you can mine with GPUs or ASICs. However keep in mind you will need a reliable internet connection to do so.

If you are good with computers you can buy GPUs and build a open air mining rig. Search YouTube there are tons of videos. Only issue is the GPUs are expensive now even second hand.

Or you can buy ASICs which are easier to set up and they are a good intro to how mining works. But you might get issues finding decent ones. But a lot of the old ASICs which are inefficient are very cheap these days.
