I think it's just a quick way to make money for them. Nobody really cares or supports and it doesn't really look like anything special.

i don't think ETZ,if the hard-fork is at it's best the ETZ will be seen everywhere.

Do you see some future in ethereum's fork etherzero like bitcoin's fork bitcoincash
Why do you think it fails or raises

When it reaches the exchanges I can tell you it will dump in the price first thing. The other thing is that it might raise in the future, but I am not familliar with their plans at all, for now I'll stick to ETH.
I thought the same thing about Bitcoin Cash. I was very wrong about that...
but I think etherzero will not grow in that scale

They have too many issues. They did a pre-sale and accepted investors money without a whitepaper and even the code. They kept changing details on their announcements and advertisements, even about their total supply. It's just too shady. At least they put the value of their coin in the name itself.

Ethereum forked coins are usually dead after few months. So i don't see any opportunity here.
Etherzero end will be the same as other forks. useless and no community support means always same.

It seems to me that this project will not be so successful as ETH. People no longer trust forks. I studied the idea of this coin and it's interesting. But developers need to think about how to get the trust of community.

Didn`t they cancel this fork? Or it is still on? When will this occur?
They did cancel it, but it's back on, scheduled for 10:30 GMT 20 Jan:

If you want a laugh, check out this argument on github. It sums up etherzero:

This is not legit fork coin in my opinion, as you can see so many people are posting their opinion regarding this fork coin and the majority of them are giving negative feedback for this fork coin.
My thought that this will become another fail in the future. This is the same as bitcoin gold.

yeah, i had the same opinion because nothing new was there on their profile except zero tx and some small things from eos. they are just promoting themselves as ethereum fork than a coin itself

There are no ‘ new’ tokens since it’s just a copy of the ETH blockchain, so on the new blockchain the main token is ETZ instead of ETH.

It may not be that good at all, they need to use another coin name for them to get famous. They are not trying to do anything legal.
