Bitcoin is GOD
Even if they accepted crypto again they wouldn’t get much more sales since they are accepting Bitcoin. I am pretty sure if someone wants a Tesla bad enough they can just cash out and buy it for cash.

I remember back in 2017 when crypto was getting mainstream there were a few of those small used car lots or buy here pay here places who places Bitcoin accepted logos.

A buddy of mine actually had BTC and was in the market for a new car. When he tried to buy it the price went up like 10% because of the extra transaction and conversion feee. Basically passed on the deal because he could sell it with his exchange for like 0.25% at the time.

So nobody actually buys cars with Bitcoin.
And that is just one problem, the next one is the cost, the cars are very expensive and only long term holders have a chance to buy a car like that with bitcoin.

Then it comes the issue of Elon Musk himself, do we really want to help him out when he has done so much damage to the market? Quite honestly even if I had the money I am not willing to help him out and give him even more profits and more bitcoin just so he can exert even more manipulation to this market, as he has shown that he is not above trying to manipulate it to get his way.

It might take the BTC price above 40k and that will be max. Most of the investors have understood Elon's mindset and games. Some might fall into the manipulation trap and buy the market but it will not be like what happened previously. The market is in correction mode and at this point it will be harder for anyone to move the market up with a single news.
That's right, they have to think 100 times. Just one piece of news will continue to skyrocket like a rocket. i guess it will take some time to fix the fallen market, although elon will say tresla accepts BTC as payment.

I'm sure btc will return to normal in the not too distant future.
The question is? Would the community believe into his words again after in all the things that he had done? He can announce on all the things that he can but for sure the public wont really take his calls or announcement to be that serious unlike before where everybody is really eyeing into those
words that do spit out into his amount but now that his image is a bit that not pleasant anymore for most people then this man would just turn out
to be an another clown into this market. As an investor and since this market is highly reactive to news then you should really be careful
on making decisions because of several factors.

With all the things that Elon Musk has done, it seems like many people are not paying attention to what Elon Musk has to say. So if Elon Musk
tweets about Tesla accepting BTC again, it won't make much of a difference. But I have to admit there are still some of his followers who are
influenced by Elon Musk's tweets, but the exact number will not be as much as when Elon Musk first did it. So in my opinion don't focus on
what Elon Musk is doing, because it will only make us make wrong decisions. Keep doing our own research and analysis, if we want to invest
in crypto right now.

I don't think it's gonna happen again. It was already used once, hardly doubt the market would accept it again as a reason. It may rise, but only by a bit, I suppose. But honestly, the BTC market could live on its own without the influence of Elon. And there's honestly little chance of it happening, otherwise, he'd most likely be considered as pretty inefficient in making decisions or whatnot, that is unless he makes another excuse just like how he used BTC mining costs as a reason to pull BTC out.
The same trick is not going to work twice in this market especially coming from the same person, Elon Musk played his cards perfectly if what he was looking for was to obtain some easy profits for himself and his company.

But if what he was looking for was a way to somehow appropriate the market of bitcoin and somehow do whatever he wants with it then he has failed completely as people are not going to listen anything else he has to say as now they know that if they follow his advice they will lose money.

Here is Elon tracking back some and saying BTC incentivizes renewable cheap power, which is quite easily true though it can also equate to cheap power hence the critic its related to coal.

msn.com/en-gb/money/other/bitcoin-bombshell-tesla-could-start-accepting-bitcoin-again-musk-in-talks-with-miners/ar-AAKAAX9?ocid=msedgntp

The main take away really is that news is the labelled stuck on a price and a set of graphs or price action after the fact, the reasons why we move are largely to do with momentum.   Like rain and a river, you can expect certain flow to occur and lately BTC slowed down some and a pullback is more likely alongside profit taking etc.

There is a fund for some time way before Musk bought that channels Bitcoin buys only from mining groups which have a provable energy source that is renewable, the concerns were never that new.  He could easily just arrange to have his BTC taken from this source and continued to encourage others to do similar.

I don't care about what Elon Musk tweets, but there hundreds or even thousands of people, who are waiting for him to point at the next "shiny object",so they could start buying.
I'm sure that Bitcoin will return back to 60K USD,if Tesla accepts BTC payments, but it doesn't matter anymore. If Tesla doesn't pump Bitcoin, something else will pump Bitcoin for sure.
The vast majority of the crypto traders don't care about Bitcoin, dogecoin, shitcoin or whatever.
They just want to buy low and sell high.
That's right, it is not about just tesla or Elon Musk, it is about a good news and whenever something good happens the price of bitcoin goes up as well. Remember we didn't reach to 64k just because Elon tweeted, there were tons of other reasons, and I am sure it is not just Elon that dropped the prices neither, there must be some other reasons as well.

I personally feel like there is a good amount of possibility we could be reaching to a level where these wealthy people are just playing with us, they drop it whenever they want and they increase it whenever they want, that is just not something I feel comfortable with at all. Obviously rich people have more money and they have more influence and they get more media coverage as well so I understand why they are capable of doing this, but we should not be allowing them to do something like this just because they can.

I think BTC prices have been following Elon's tweet recently. He said Tesla will no longer accept btc and btc instantly crumbled down almost %50.

And it's not only btc. Everyone knows by now DOGE's phenomenon. Went but %21,000, thanks to Elon.

So I'm wondering, what if he tweets rights now "we are back accepting btc as a payment method". Or, more realistically he names a crypto currentcy no one looks at, sitting in the back all lonely and sad talking about "no one wants to play with me" and then comes along Elon and mentions it's name and all of sudden it's a superstar everyone wants to get a piece of. Would you too? You waiting on a tweet?

Elon would look like a fool if he reverses his decision in such short time yet again. If Tesla will start accepting BTC again, it will happen after a few years minimum. And Elon said about enviromental concerns, which means that until people won't stop saying that Bitcoin mining consumes too much dirty electricity, he won't be able to return to accepting BTC without facing criticism.

Exactly, and If he immediately take back what he said about Bitcoin mining's energy consumption after he talked with the Bitcoin miners in North America about the renewable usage of energy, he'd obviously tagged as a market manipulator (which everyone knew about already).
Remember, once this plan about renewable energy usage works, he will definitely re-announce Tesla accepting Bitcoin again right away.

I don't think that this will give good effect again because Bitcoin already hit a bad reputation in connecting to Elon Musk name so whatever this traitor makes releases or tweets ? it doesnt matter because people will invest on top of their mind but not because in Elon's connection.
Perhaps, if Elon tweets about accepting bitcoin for the payment for Tesla, that can lift the bitcoin price increase. But I doubt that bitcoin really needs that because bitcoin is not just for Tesla, but many businesses can use bitcoin for the payment system.

Perhaps, now the trend will be Elon, but I don't think that Elon will still dominate his power in the crypto market. People will see that Elon is just another puppet that influences the crypto market, and there will be many more Elon in the crypto market.

Not gonna do anything, at best its gonna pump the market a little bit, the real players are those whale manipulators and institutional investors tesla exluded
Even if you see his recent shilling of doge literally affect so little he has somewhat lost his influence, and thats exactly what he get for playing thousands of people
like a fiddle. The market better off without that manipulation though as it's good for long term, manipulation like that only good for short term and its gonna create bubble
and eventually it pops.

I don't think he will ever accept BTC as payment for his cars. In that small period where he allowed BTC for payments how many people do you actually think bought a car with BTC? Probably less than 100 or even less than 50. If someone wants a tesla, they will just sell their BTC and buy it with fiat instead. I don't think they will sell more cars just because they accept BTC.

BTC went up because they bought $1.5B worth on their balance sheet. And price at the time was $33K and looked like it was going to go down. However his investment made price go up to $40K. Because now everybody is thinking that Apple, Facebook and other companies will start to invest in BTC. However that is not looking like the case right now.

Probably a case of Fool me once....    Its far harder to ramp at this point and quite pointless to run against momentum or any will to sell with hallow hype.   If Elon wants to do anything real related to crypto then great, love to hear it but most people are tired of empty nonsense and I hope he amounts to more then that if his normal business or thats alot of money wasted.
Its probably the case anyway that TSLA is peaked in meta anyhow.   They had front runner advantage and literally other companies must pay him for leading the charge, great he is the avant guarde and all credit to him for that but his time may have passed.      Does everyone here really doubt Toyota, Ford all the German brands and every other major car maker cant come up with good solutions for electric cars, laws are changing rapidly and the larger the firm the greater the lead time in their development process but I think the lag is declining in their development such that TSLA declines in its influence and premium.

Absolutely right.

While the market and its people is busy with their own thoughts how long this correction will stay. He and his cohorts might already be accumulating as much as they can and would love to pump it again with such good news.

He's already given some hint about having a discussion with mining facility owners and with Michael Saylor.

Nothing is going to happen if Elon Musk twitted about bitcoin again, trust is not something that you can play with, which is precisely what he has been doing, people for lack of better options were following him and did everything he said only to find out they were being lead on and they lost a fortune because of him.

Do you really think those people are going to listen to him now? I will not be surprised if instead what we see is a complete boycott to him and every single company that he owns coming from the community.

There is trouble abrewing
first of all you shouldn't even begin to compare bitcoin with a shitcoin because the same shitcoin has been having thousand percent pumps in the past too without Elon just with simple hypes and a good pumping team. this is nothing new. they also always follow that up with a big  dump which is repeating too.

secondly Elon has lost credibility and also he didn't affect the bitcoin price in his first attempt that much let alone affect it now that he is known as a scammer by the bitcoin community.

and finally bitcoin is going to go up eventually. obviously if the FUD ends it will start rising sooner.

Sad to say many still follow what elon thinks thats why we see a huge changes once he tweet. Although its awful to see people makes him as a basis of market movement but since there's a opportunity I choose to follow the trend but one thing I hope is hopefully we can overcome his influence so that we can see the bitcoin price grows organically.

I Will wait for the reaction of the community and start buying if the community still follows Elon Musk's shill, this is a good opportunity to make quick money, people are still on a lookup for the next coin that Musk is going to tweet, hopefully, this time he will tweet a coin that's worth shilling, with usage and a platform that majority of people should be using.

He is taking us all for a ride if he suddenly makes a big switch and people will not believe him anymore but the price of Bitcoin will bounce back if he does this, he made a big disruption in the market and it's hard for him to correct it if he will support Cryptocurrency he might as well love Bitcoin instead of hating it, he gets the wrong information that Doge is better than Bitcoin

I imagine it could have some impact, maybe even a 20% -25% jump in price, but not nearly as much as the first time.
People don't like manipulators and Musk seems to be just that, an ordinary manipulator who uses his social status for personal gain.

There are others making money off Musk's crypto tweets. In the past six months, Musk impersonators have scammed consumers out of $2 million,

Fake Musks have been using his name for years, it's nothing new - maybe just the amount is something that goes beyond the usual. People who can't tell the real from a fake profile are really easy targets, especially if they believe that someone is sharing free money by first asking for x, to get us back xx - this can only happen to people with very low IQs. According to research, in the first three months of this year, about $18 million was stolen in this way - what else to say but that scammers have a real little paradise in the crypto world.

He probably knows that he cannot do it anymore.

If I write now that the price will rise and the price will rise, does this mean that I am the reason? Absolutely not, just as the price did not change except with the behavior of individuals who own Bitcoin.
Tesla's buying of Bitcoin is the reason Bitcoin has gone up and sold is the reason for the price rebound.
Elon Musk's tweets affect only those with weak hands, and they are few. Unfortunately, many whales are taking advantage of these tweets to get bitcoin at a low price.

If people followed the idea of Bitcoin instead of such spoiled rich people, then his tweets would mean nothing. But as things stand, his flock on Twitter is only increasing (currently 56.1 million sheep) which is 2 million more than a few weeks ago - which tells us that he has not lost the support of all those who supported him before manipulative tweets.

It is my opinion that such a tweet would certainly have a positive effect on the price - people really don't care about anything other than to profit, and after a few days of cheap prices a mini bull run would certainly come in handy.

I think we are at a stage where people are waiting for something to happen and probably many think "EM screwed us up, it would be okay to correct it - please EM tell us you love BTC again" Cheesy

There are others making money off Musk's crypto tweets. In the past six months, Musk impersonators have scammed consumers out of $2 million, according to the Federal Trade Commission.

Clearly, this shows that Musk's control of crypto markets extends to imitators as well. And we shouldn't expect Musk's influence on the markets to disappear anytime soon. Boosting Bitcoin's price with a tweet may not be as fraught as boosting the stock price of his own company, but it's certainly not fair that one person has that power.
