If it already made a confirmation then it is impossible to cancel it. This is how bitcoin and other crypto works. Blockchain transactions are irreversible so you should be very careful before sending someone any cryptocurrencies especially if it is a big amount. Always double-check the recipient's address, memorize its first and last 3 characters before confirming it.

This might happen if transaction you have sent has been "orphaned" that is it was included into orphan block. In this case there is no need to resend your transaction as all transactions that were included into that orphan block go back unto mempool. So you should wait. You transaction will be included into block, eventually.

You can check out my guide for How to cancel Bitcoin transaction but this can only be done for unconfirmed transactions with replace-by-fee option or with increasing fees.

If the first confirmation has got through, the posterior ones should be producing at an average (not exact) rate of one additional confirmation per 10 minutes. It shouldn’t just stop confirming like you state. Try looking at the TX on a different blockchain explorer to see if it states the same (i.e. blockchair).See time lapse between the last blocks here: https://blockchair.com/es/bitcoin/blocks. Note that the 10 minutes to confirmation is average, and that you'll easily see examples that took just a minute, ranging through more than 20 minutes in some other cases.
