In 2020 I was able to withdraw my profits from Bitcoin and got married and had a child in 2021 when Bitcoin was at $70,000.
It good to know that Bitcoin is actually changing lives, and helping people take bold step into getting married and having children, but did I just hear you said you could for profit when Bitcoin was  $70,000? Because Bitcoin has never gotten to that amount, of which the current All Time High we know is $67,566.83 which took place on Nov. 8, 2021 and not $70,000. But if that's what you meant, them I hope I didn't spend all your Bitcoin savings, because just as you were able to reap massive returns of investment for your money, if only you could buy and hold more longer, you are likely to reap more profits, instead of leaving your money lying in traditional banks where it yields little or no returns of investment.

Sharing of personal information on an anonymous forum like this, I think is not necessary, as you literally would made this post without added this caption above, because with this, you are kind of portraying 'pity' here on the forum which adds no value here on this community, and as such, It will be best if next time you could just focus on value and obedient to forum rules, as you are rest assured of growth.

So it looks like 2014 I know about Bitcoin.
In 2017 I understood and invested in Bitcoin
In 2020 I was able to withdraw my profits from Bitcoin and got married and had a child in 2021 when Bitcoin was at $70,000.
And now I have again started making small investments in Bitcoin to contribute to my future generation. Cool Cool

Your journey is quite amazing. Not most people knew about Bitcoin this early and even most of the ones that knew about it never saw a reason to invest in it. That you even made out profit from your initial investment is a strong motivation not only to yourself as you start up your journey again, but also to the average person who is just joining the family from scratch.

The story of yours OP tells us how important to use our money wisely and even if we come from poor family but have a good way of spending our money, it certainly will grow. Many people neglected to invest in Bitcoin 10 years ago but now, they regret from missing the chance and you made it right.

Investing in Bitcoin is really profitable but this won't really work for those investors who are impatient. That is why not all who invested in crypto ended just like you, some had also suffered losses and feel regrets.

In my opinion, taking profits is never wrong and as long as we are satisfied with the profits we have then we have the right to sell bitcoins at any time. But what I see is that many people like to criticize others when they sell their bitcoins . They do not notice that each person's situation will be different, not everyone has the same situation. I believe that no one wants to sell bitcoin too early but for their livelihood, they need to do it. Furthermore , they sell when they make a profit and will buy back when the price corrects, which also gives them a larger profit, so there is nothing wrong with that. We should stop criticizing those who are selling bitcoin because we are not them.
Enjoying the results we have gotten from the investments we have made, I think is a natural thing for everyone who has invested or traded with Bitcoin and also everyone has different financial conditions from others, so if there are people who have to sell early Bitcoin before they make a profit, of course they don't prepare funds for other needs first, so they have to sell the assets they own to be able to meet the needs they need.

Indeed, I find it normal to sell bitcoin because everyone has their own reasons. But there are too many graceless people who like to criticize others when it is not their investment and they don't even have bitcoins to sell, but they like to criticize those who sell bitcoins early. Just like the story of Laszlo Hanyecz, he made history when he bought pizza with bitcoin to prove to the world that bitcoin works as a currency. That was truly a milestone that created history for bitcoin, but there were people who came later who didn't have much bitcoin but always proved to be right when they said he was stupid to sell bitcoin at that price. Too many people have short-sighted thinking in the market.

It is admirable that you have gone from being a novice in 2014 to seeing its potential in 2017, and now you are reinvesting with a plan for the future of your family. A move toward democratized finance, Bitcoin is more than just a currency. Your narrative exemplifies how Bitcoin can change lives, especially for individuals from less fortunate origins. Making money is only one aspect of it; other goals include removing obstacles and fostering opportunity. A lot of people may learn from your financial plan because it is informed and grounded in hope. In your possession, bitcoin becomes a motivator for overcoming personal adversity as well as a tool for financial gain. Continue down this route; your tale serves as an inspiration to a great number of others, demonstrating how Bitcoin may be used for purposes beyond profit.

It is the story of a man who should have made good money from Bitcoin's rise, but it was never worth the price the OP talks about. But the history of posts suggests that participating in a bounty does not resemble the person who knows how to trade forex and recently earned a decent amount on investments. Perfectly, Bitcoin can convey both joy and happiness, as the OP writes, but posts that are not hidden and can be read tell a completely different story. Fantasy is presented as reality; that’s what the OP wants to say.

In the end, I want to say one thing, in fact Bitcoin has not only worked as a support for my life, but after learning the details of its method, it has transmitted a kind of happiness, hope, trust and cheerful life energy in my mind.

Because my teenage life was spent in depression and deprivation. So I think bitcoin is Blessing for me which can bring real power for my life.
There is nothing wrong with the way people enjoy happiness from the results of investing in Bitcoin and that is how humans face life when they are well prepared. Bitcoin can provide options for anyone who can take advantage of it and bitcoin can provide the freedom to choose wise decisions to maintain the value of the currency we have. The problem is when you no have the money to invest and this reason will be a problem that can prevent someone from investing in Bitcoin.

But when you have a firm intention towards bitcoin this is not a problem because you can invest small amounts in stages or what is called using the DCA method and strategy. Remain firm in your principles and if you think Bitcoin can bring you happiness, continue to make purchases according to your financial capabilities and I am sure that one day you will achieve much better financial freedom.

Good for you. Those who experienced the significance and benefit of investing in Bitcoin will say nothing but nice words on how it changed their lives for the better. I became aware of Bitcoin during its early years too but didn't invest and just ignore it since I don't have idea that this will become a big thing in the future. It's already late before I realized my mistakes but that experience became a lesson for me to not miss the opportunity again.

Hence, i'm also fortunate that Bitcoin influence me positively. Although I don't think it is wise to rely solely on Bitcoin as main source of income for a living. I prefer to hold (and take profit at times) and wait for my target price while having a main job to give me a stable income.

From struggling to thriving: How Bitcoin changed my life for the better
When I first heard about Bitcoin, I was skeptical. I had heard about the volatility and the risk, and I didn't see how it could possibly benefit me. But as I learned more, I began to see the potential for Bitcoin to improve my life.
I decided to start small, buying just a small amount of Bitcoin with the money I had saved. I watched the price rise and fall, and I learned more about the technology and the community. Over time, my investment began to grow. I was able to use the profits to improve my life in many.. and I am so grateful to have known Bitcoin and was able to start it up..

ways. I paid off some of my debts, saved for my retirement, and even started my own business. I am now able to support myself financially, and I have a much brighter future thanks to Bitcoin.
I am grateful for the opportunities that Bitcoin has given me. It has allowed me to be more independent, and it has opened up new doors for me. I am excited to see where the future of Bitcoin takes me, and I am grateful for the blessings it has brought to my life. If you're interested in learning more about Bitcoin, I would encourage you to do your own research and start small. It could change your financial problem..

For someone it is a blessing but for someone it is a curse. I say this because, in cryptocurrency market or any kind of market, when someone is making a profit, some other people are losing. You cannot create Bitcoin out of thin air so when you make a profit out of it someone else is losing. The same thing could happen to you too. And when you lose, someone else will be making profit out of your loss. And you don't want to be on that side of the road. But it is unavoidable when you are into Bitcoin investment.

So my advice for you is to diversify your investment into multiple sectors. If you become dependent on one investment then you become vulnerable to that. You can either get a profit or you can lose everything if it's gone. it is better to have multiple options in hand in case anything goes wrong with one. Always having backup plan is the best way to go on in life. Maybe you can do good in life and consider Bitcoin as a blessing but you should never stop there. Spread your wings and fly more.
A more realistic point of view; aside from those who feel blessed of this technology there are people who also views it negativeky and that's a part of it. This simply shows that investors should still be careful of their actions despite of positive stories told by the others. Issues won't be gone in an instant and is somehow necessary to us to be more cautious of our decisions with our holdings.
Obviously you got into Bitcoin early enough. Unfortunately you made the mistake of many which is the infamous "taking profits". The story is always the same for a lot of the early adopters of Bitcoin with few able to see beyond the immediate profits and held even up till now.

"Taking profits" isn't really bad if you're going to use the money for something that's important lol (OP had a child, assuming the story is true). We shouldn't really be demonizing selling bitcoin because not everyone is selling their bitcoin for panicking reasons.

The purpose of investing is to benefit from it when the time comes. I think the OP did this too. As you said, we should not see selling Bitcoin as something wrong. Moreover, OP started investing in Bitcoin again.

Bitcoin has always provided returns in the long run. The longer we wait, the more return we can get, but life circumstances sometimes cause us to sell our Bitcoins. Not everyone's target price is the same. Once Bitcoin reaches any investor's target price, that investor can sell his Bitcoin and do whatever he wants. There is nothing more natural than this.
No one and nothing requires us to just hold forever. As long as you are earning profit from your investment then that would be fine. If you choose to sell then that is your rights as an investor. We have different risk tolerance which should be an enough explanation to why people are selling earlier than the others or than what's ideal. The market is volatile in nature and we can make another entry to our own likeness.

Well, tons of people had really have that kind of experience on which Bitcoin profits did really make such changes in life or something that being beneficial to them. If you've been able to save up coins into those early years then you might really be that rich now even if we do say that you do only get or saved up a few coins but well we do know that life situations is really that different to each other on which means that
it is really that unavoidable for you to spend up your coins which i could really be able to do so considering that i have done on the same thing. I have known Bitcoin with those years
but because of real life hard situation then i do really make spend of those coins and actively really that making a conversion to fiat on which it did really make me that able to miss out those
golden opportunities on being becomg rich when those Bullrun thing happens.

Why does this sound like cook up lies that was marinated from in existence? You happen to register in 2020 in the Forum but you have got to know bitcoin and used it since 2014? And yet your mode of interaction seems like someone who is new to this bitcoin. I have seen some renowned bitcoin OGs that love bitcoin and have been doing it for long and when they write, you will know it's them.

When did bitcoin touch $70k? It was even at $68k which were few in some exchanges and it never spend much time there, it did crawled back to 60k to 50k level before redoing retest of the level and then crashed started, only few will have the chance to sell their bitcoin in that price but let assume it's true. What exchange did you keep your bitcoin since 2014 to now.?

Binance that I think you might love dearly wasn't around in 2014, it was in the 2017 they came into business but your story is contradicting, any way if you really had some profit back then, wish you more enjoyment and wealth but something is not adding up about this story.

First of all you work hard and continue you life with great efforts and don't loss hope at last you make a family through Bitcoin's investment so it is highly appreciative. It is true that bitcoin investment can provide a way of happy and healthy life but a person should invest on proper time because every time is not profitable for buying and selling bitcoin.
A person can share his Bitcoin's knowledge with his children just in his life because people are cruel so if they find any information related to bitcoin they will not convey your message to your children but will use Bitcoin's profit for himself as money is not Easy to give to someone else.

Bitcoin is a blessing for people who are willing to learn and use it. You are lucky to have received the benefits provided by Bitcoin. You should be able to continue investing in Bitcoin even with small amounts of money. Everything starts from small things and if you keep doing it, you will definitely get big profits.

And if later you see the Bitcoin price can get a new ATH price, you can sell it to get a big profit, depending on the amount of Bitcoin you have. That's why we should all take advantage of the time we have left to continue accumulating more Bitcoins. And we still have time, at least until next year, before the halving.

With Bitcoin, we can make our dreams come true and many have succeeded in doing so. And it's never too late to start investing in Bitcoin.

How would it have been so nice to say if you had Invested through all these periods and hold till the last 2020 Halving before releasing at $68,000 this next year is another target on that, we are going to have another bitcoin bullrun and all bitcoin investors are going to experience this if they hold till then.
It is not easy to survive until the halving effect creates a new ATH, because some holders who do not have a strong goal will only end up selling early or even selling when the Bitcoin market is crashing.

The previous ATH that allowed Bitcoin to reach an ATH of $68k certainly made old holders very happy with longer gains, but for those who are too panicked or too FOMO, they have a certain trauma of rising or falling.

A new goal of Bitcoin is being created, and it will take a long process to reach the new ATH Goal.
My personal target is ATH $100k++ and in general that is so much speculation of many crypto users nowadays.

So set a key goal or target and don't get off the beaten track.
When you are sure, then the target becomes a target that must be achieved for the long term.

On the Fear & Greed Chart, the Index has seen a steady increase over the past 3 months.
In November alone more people made purchases with the greed chart index reaching 74% and that figure being the highest for the month, but it remained stable.
If the Bitcoin Spot ETF is approved then this will continue to rise and coupled with the halving moment, Bitcoin will make history again.

Glad you got yourself out of the rut you were put in. It's not easy doing that, and with or without bitcoin, I know you would've made it. Congratulations from that alone.

I got in this gig a little later than you, I've been hearing and seeing about bitcoin for a while now since 2015, but it wasn't until some months after that I started to really grow interest in it. From then on, and after years of struggles and hardships, I can confidently say that bitcoin and crypto gave me so much and more, and had allowed me to attain status that I couldn't otherwise have obtained if I wasn't smart enough to invest in it in the first place. Which is why I became the tome of knowledge when it comes to investing and putting your money to work in the family. I don't particularly mush bitcoin in their faces cause it's all a matter of preference in my opinion, but at least they know their options. And I thank bitcoin for everything that I have in my life right now, just like you bro.

If one ever have the opportunity to experience the bullrun after holding for a time, they will equally understand the need for it and never want to take such for granted and always Invest, bullrun is the evident means to make everyone investing in bitcoin have a reason to keep on holding and investing because they know that they will certainly make it to earn over what they have invested.

really cool that you were able to get to know about btc early enough and as you said it seemed like it has served you well

imagine if you just kept on holding from since you first ever bought btc of course I understand you had to make some decisions because of big life events like having a child
it’s good to know that you have once again started participating in investing in btc
Yes sometimes the decision inevitably we have to make sales, yes because we return again, we need for the necessities of life at a certain time, such as marriage and others, and that is the usefulness of Bitcoin that he can feel, although sometimes there must be a little sorry, why sell all Bitcoin owned at that time.

But logically if he knows Bitcoin, he will know a lot of Altcoin projects after 2014, which I think he should be able to pursue Altcoin projects and the development of crypto in general that allows him to get more benefits other than Bitcoin itself, examples such as collecting more Many ETH from airdrops telegram and things like to benefit through telegram.

Obviously you got into Bitcoin early enough. Unfortunately you made the mistake of many which is the infamous "taking profits". The story is always the same for a lot of the early adopters of Bitcoin with few able to see beyond the immediate profits and held even up till now.

You have just confirmed that selling ones Bitcoin under the guise of "taking profit" might actually be a wrong decision because there are chances you might not replenish your portfolio with the proceeds and may likely spend the money in such a way you might not actually be proud of on the long run. For your case, you got married and did other things which is wonderful and fine. But you would have still done most of those things by just selling a fraction of your portfolio and not the entire assets hoping to start all over again.

@Odohu would you have held your Bitcoin since 2014 if you are OP? I think you are judging him without knowing how his life was at the time, you have no idea what people are going through, it's not worth holding Bitcoin when you are in profit and you are suffering, to survive selling can be the only option you have left, never ever compare your life to others because the way life treats some aren't the same for other people.

I don't advice people to hold Bitcoin as if it's their only chance of making it to heaven, if you held since 2014 it is still big risk, you could have died in 2015 or 2016 and everything won't matter today, the best advice I love giving people about investment is that they should get a job and invest only what you can afford to lose in Bitcoin, nothing is guaranteed with humans, not all that celebrated December 2022 are here today, why must someone held on when life is a mess for them?

Bitcoin have done something great for me, I am able to use it financially when I want, after I made some gains from Bitcoin I took profits and use that on my agriculture business, yes I sold part of my land to buy bitcoin because I see it's potential, but Bitcoin is just like every other valuable things of life, we won't take them with us when our time is up on this earth.

Honestly, I really hate people who always think they are right and like to criticize others when we have never been in their situation. I dare say that even if we invested in bitcoin in 2014 like the OP did, there is no guarantee that when bitcoin goes up 50% or 100%, we wouldn't sell them. The future is unpredictable and the risks of investing in bitcoin back then were much greater than they are now. So OP didn't make any mistake here and that's why many people invested early but they can't hold their bitcoins to date.

@Odohu, are you sure to keep your bitcoins for the next 10 years? Or when your profit is x2, x5, you will be able to sell immediately?

If one should have good knowledge and skills about bitcoin and it is better to invest with thought and time before investing then bitcoin is definitely a boon for all investors. Bull markets and bear markets must stay in one place regardless. To be a good investor you need to develop good habits if you wish to invest and wish not to invest this kind of attitude should be avoided as there is more risk involved here. A good investor never stays away from investing always wanders between investments it becomes very easy for them to make profit. Regardless of the market condition it is better to wait patiently until the actual profit is realized. The market is not fixed and always changes so it is better to hold for long term and wait.

In 2017 I understand and invest in Bitcoin
In 2020 I was able to withdraw my profits from Bitcoin and got married and had a child in 2021 when Bitcoin was at $70,000.
And now I have again started making small investments in Bitcoin to contribute to my future generation. Cool Cool

You've known Bitcoin too early, Unfortunately, you weren't able to invest during that time. But you are still fortunate to finally understand and invest in Bitcoin in 2017. Being able to make a profit and using it on your needs.

This is what newbies should know. Some people think that it's already too late to invest in Bitcoin due to the price is too expensive for a normal person to afford. Without knowing that as long as you understand how Bitcoin works and when is the right time to invest your money, in the long run, the invested money will still earn a profit.

Enjoying the results we have gotten from the investments we have made, I think is a natural thing for everyone who has invested or traded with Bitcoin and also everyone has different financial conditions from others, so if there are people who have to sell early Bitcoin before they make a profit, of course they don't prepare funds for other needs first, so they have to sell the assets they own to be able to meet the needs they need.

for me, I will always have a Bitcoin portfolio irrespective of the price. Selling is entirely based on needs that will never involve killing the "goose that lays the golden egg"
Life is not the same for everyone, and things don't always work the same way for every individual, which means, that if you can manage to just sell a portion of your holdings even if it's need-based, that is only possible if you don't need more money than what you got after selling that portion so that you can keep holding the remaining assets, or even if you need more than that, you can manage to get some money from somewhere else so that you don't sell all your assets.

But, if someone has no other way of getting money and the only way they can get enough money to do what they need to do is by selling all their Bitcoins, they won't have a choice but to go ahead and sell them which is probably what OP did. So, things are not always the same for everyone and that is the reason why your plan might not work for someone else.

Yes, I think a lot of people experienced the same thing.... they bought small amounts over a long period and then suddenly the price increased and they could sell for a huge profit.

I bought my first bitcoins when the Bitcoin price were +/- $300 and much to my surprise, the price went up to $1000 and then all the way up to $18000 and then down to $3000 and then again up to $40 000+ where I eventually sold for a massive profit.  Grin

This was a huge boost for my financial status at the time and I managed to improve my living conditions drastically.  Cool

You shared good information and experience. I appreciate your love for bitcoin and crypto currency.
Infact Bitcoin provides an opportunity to generate your and your family income. It also provides a chance to be rich. It requires labour and continuous struggle. No Doubt, It will fulfill your unfulfilled dreams.
I am also a beneficiary of bit coin .Two years before when there was lockdown due to corona virus .and also business and intuitions were closed. I am a private serving man. So I was also in financial suffering. But with the grace of Allah it was Bitcoin and cryptocurrency which provide me a chance to earn and run the economy in the crisis's Due to bitcoin trade my difficult time had become easy.

it's the same with me, where I discovered bitcoin in 2017, and I also come from a simple family, at that time from the proceeds of bitcoin I was able to build a house in 2019, and get married in 2020, and have children in 2021, something that I feel It's impossible to have a house, because it requires quite a lot of money in my opinion, but it's possible thanks to getting to know Bitcoin. Until now, I am still investing a little money to achieve the future, because I am sure that the bullish season will come again later
That's an inspiring story, pretty much a rags to riches in a way because it seems that bitcoin really helped you a lot, I hope that's what bitcoin will do to me too because I have been hodling mine since 2019 and I was able to do it because I came from a well off family and I have a job so I am not that worried about panic selling. I am so inspired and jealous of other people that have their lives changed because of bitcoin, it really changes your life and I have seen it time and time again as I am surrounded during my college days of friends that are involved in bitcoin much longer than me and the financial freedom that bitcoin offers really is something, hopefully a drop of similarity of what good has happened to others and my friends would happen to me when I finally sold all of my bitcoin and have some more to get back again.

Appreciate your expectations regarding Bitcoin. But definitely don't invest here with the expectation of more profit. An investor must understand the positive and the negative aspects before investing. However, investing in Bitcoin is a safe investment platform compare to the other currencies. It can definitely bring benefits especially to those who invest in Bitcoin with long-term investment goals. I will ask you to invest here as much as you can afford to lose. That means invest such money that if lost it will not affect your normal life. Although there is no certainty of profit in investing , if you analyze the past and present condition of Bitcoin, it is definitely possible to be profitable from it.

If you came to know about Bitcoin in 2014 and could have started investing since then, you would have definitely been profitable. But anyway you have started your investment journey again here which is definitely a good decision.

Obviously you got into Bitcoin early enough. Unfortunately you made the mistake of many which is the infamous "taking profits". The story is always the same for a lot of the early adopters of Bitcoin with few able to see beyond the immediate profits and held even up till now.

There is nothing wrong with those who invest early and sell early because no one can predict what the future will hold. Moreover, they sold because they made a significant profit and they used that money to support their lives, so how can it be said that they made a mistake? Without those early investors, without those transactions, how would we have bitcoin today?

One more thing, I bet you that even if you knew bitcoin at that time, you would have done the same thing as them or you would have even sold it earlier than them. Because no one has a crystal ball to predict the future, we only strongly criticize others when it's all over.

Sorry for writing so briefly.
To tell the truth, I am an only child from a poor family, my father left me no property or bank balance.
 Embarrassed
In the end, I want to say one thing, in fact Bitcoin has not only worked as a support for my life, but after learning the details of its method, it has transmitted a kind of happiness, hope, trust and cheerful life energy in my mind.

Because my teenage life was spent in depression and deprivation. So I think bitcoin is Blessing for me which can bring real power for my life.

I think it looks like you are not the only one who has experienced it; many people have faced it and experienced it too. I also went through it; I didn't experience growing up with real parents; instead, I grew up with relatives.

But even so, I didn't blame the real parents. Because I just knew about Bitcoin, I had a curiosity to learn about it, and until I had knowledge or an idea, it has been a huge blessing to me. The profit that I get from it just follows, because I might experience earning Bitcoin if I don't know enough about it.

2014 found out about Bitcoin. 2017 understand and invest in Bitcoin. 2020 saw huge profits as Bitcoin prices rose high. From the big advantage you get married and have children.
Now you start investing again.
Another, you come from a very poor family because your father left no property or savings that you could use.

Hopefully you don't complain about your fate and don't blame your parents. When you have become a father to a child resulting from a relationship with your wife, the mature thing for your child's future that you are preparing for does not have to be Bitcoin if you are still very poor.
Buying and selling Bitcoin for profit is allowed and you are surviving on Bitcoin. You are not investing but rather trading to meet your needs. You're in and worthy of being called a Bitcoiner.

In one of the thread, I made a statement that those who joined Bitcoin early and still held till date are the true believers who understood what Bitcoin was and where it was going.

To keep your money in bitcoin all the time and not touch it, you have to have money from other sources. What if a person has no other sources and lives off bitcoin profits? According to you those who live off bitcoin are not true bitcoin believers?

I am totally agree with you.
Since I am from a very poor family, at that moment I had nothing but bitcoins from which I could earn/get extra money.

I don't see anything wrong with using bitcoin as a means of livelihood. It's normal. If you don't overdo it and don't get too greedy, you can live on bitcoin profits for a long time. The main thing is that, God forbid, there is no situation in life that will require selling all bitcoins.
Yes, true, but of course, an investor should first know his or her situation. I noticed that because of the bitcoin hype, many people choose to invest in bitcoin without proper knowledge of it, resulting in losing the investment, and many choose to invest a large amount of money thinking that they could earn a lot right away, which is not the case. You could use bitcoin as a side hustle, but not as a livelihood. Why? Because bitcoin is volatile and complex, not every day you will win or earn; that's not it, except if you are really good at it. But if you know for yourself that you are not familiar with bitcoin, then don't rely on it alone; bitcoin is for long-term investment, so if you think that bitcoin could give you earnings every day, then stop dreaming. To efficiently earn in bitcoin or in any crypto currency by many means, you have to go long.

In all bitcoin is a blessing to us based on our timing.

This can happen largely because of the right investment. Buy and Hold. OP's smart thing in investing in Bitcoin is to enter when Bitcoin is about to experience a bullrun, this is the transition phase from bearish to bullish, where the price is still at a low level and not yet at an upper level. It is appropriate to make purchases and save until Bitcoin goes up/bullrun.

OP created his account since 2020, let's assume he is
telling the truth about all he has said, why then is the topic coming up now? I am thinking that if this story is as real as OP claim, he probably would have used the happiness within him back in 2021 to share his experience with Bitcoin since 2020/2021 that he withdraw his profit from his Bitcoin investment.
I don't consider my self to be an early investor on Bitcoin but from stories I read about Bitcoin, Bitcoin have made most people millionaires, it have helped some people to start the business of their choice through the profit they collected from Bitcoin. If you are saying the truth about your investment into Bitcoin and how it helped you, am not surprised at all. Some many people have also share same testimony, because that's what it is, "testimony."

Bitcoin is sure a blessing to us all who invested with the right knowledge and proper perspective. We take profit when the going is good which is during the bull run and hold our peace when the market is bad - bear run. In all bitcoin is a blessing to us based on our timing. If we needed to meet an urgent need like finance a project and we do not want to ask family and friends for a loan, we can say bitcoin at that point is a blessing if we were in the bull run and we could take profit without any worries.

I remember whenever I want to be sad, I will just visit my wallet or check my old address on the blockchain and I will see the amount of bitcoin I wasted and what it would have worth now.
Why would you intentionally want to be sad?

Also, do not beat yourself up about decisions you made when you were less informed. It's a normal cycle for investors to overlook some investment opportunities until they get enough information on it to understand how productive it can be. I also wasted a couple of years and capital on altcoins which should have been redirected to Bitcoin, but those decisions the led me to be able to weather bear markets today and not panic when the chart goes red or get overly excited when it goes green.
Right,  sometime I don't consider those mistakes of the past as some form of bad luck or what to make me sad about since all the while then I never hard the knowledge that I hard now,  and sure with those old experiences you gain a lot even if not in terms of profits you have learn one or two lessons that may be unnoticed to you right now but still part of your current state of mind and part of your portfolio and knowledge that will help you shape you decision-making process in the future,  so don't beat yourself for all that,  and thank God for the knowledge you gained over time which money can't buy.

One of the things that I have learned about finances and investment or money in general,  is that,  even though you lose all the money you have to a bad investment decision,  as long as you still have the skills and knowledge that produced that money,  you will still be able to make xx of such amount again in the future,  so given up is what is worst of for any man,  Bitcoin is a journey and at the mo moment,  we are still at the early stage,  so we have to concentrate on the most important thing which is to keep taking advantage of the chances to become better off of what we used to be and never regret anything.

There are different kinds of people which we have in the bitcoin community, those who had the opportunity to buy and hold bitcoin when the price for one was really affordable which was as low as the money they spend on a daily basis, but they never grab that opportunity of buying then because they don’t know how it will turn out to be and now most of them are living in regrets instead of starting from where they realize how good bitcoin is.

There are also those who did not even have the opportunity from the start, no body was their to give them the information and they also do not have stable access to the internet which will help them gain the knowledge many of those people join the network and are even big holders why many did not still join since they miss the opportunity of buying in the early stage forgetting the fact that no time is late to join the train.

There are also those who had about bitcoin as a means of investment and they have been making profit from it base on the way they have learned to day trade it which has been a good source of income for them.

Some people see it and have decided to be long time holders as holding for long is where the real profit comes from that’s if you can be able to hold for long time and until bull run. It’s good that you have enjoyed bitcoin and it have been able to add value to your life, why making profit you can also decide to add some in your saving wallet as it might be what will help your future generations in time to come.

So a little twist in your writing…

Are you a child or an adult who’s solely trying to have a throw back at a teenage age experience along with the contemporary life as an adult Bitcoin investor?

Something I have to point out though. I am pretty sure Bitcoin ATH is around $69k and it didn’t make the $70k mark, not yet with current historical records. Its ATH is around $68,789 to be precise.

Still, I can’t say you’ve made any bad investment nor acted unwisely with your choices of having to take profit because, you met it early, took what opportunity you could and chose to better your life the much your investment could afford you and so, it’s a good one.
Even still, you continue some small investments still, that too is a good one but, if you could, you can as well invest, keep topping up your portfolio and live it be, while leveraging other streams of income if you can accord yourself a few and run your life on that. Perhaps till Bitcoin becomes more widely accepted. You would be even more proud of your choices judging by what pride you’ve gotten from your past decisions with the currency.

It is always early to get in bitcoin. The only thing matters is your age and even if you are too old, you can still do it for your kids. Bitcoin has a limited supply and USD has not. That means there is only one way bitcoin can go in the long run which is up. You may buy bitcoin at the top of the last bull run and still make money if you hold it till the next bull run which usually happens every 4-5 years.

You did great till now and now the hard part starts. People think getting rich is hard. No. Getting rich is very easy. The hard part is maintaining your riches. Lots of people went from being a millionaires to zero very quickly in the past. Do your research, do the right moves so you won't be one of them.

You are now a father and should build a life for your children. Forgot about your poor background and work towards building a financially stable family. It is good that you have discovered and invested in bitcoin but you can still diversify your investment to other sectors. Other businesses could give you short-term profit as you patiently wait for your Bitcoin holdings to appreciate.

You will not be able to keep your Bitcoin for a long time if you don't have another means of income. You need to get a job and earn money that will enable you to pay your bills. I know there is a high rate of unemployment in some nations but you can consider leaning some highly needed skills.

Maybe I used a wrong tone but that was not my intention. I even stated that my philosophy is selling strictly base on needs because I believe Bitcoin is a safer and better investment option.

However, what I'm not comfortable with is liquidating the entire portfolio with the hope of replacing it during bear season. This does not always work. You can see the confirmation from the OP that he is starting all over again and even small this time.

In the last part of the post, the OP explained his situation which suggested he really needed to do something about it and holding Bitcoin would have still been the best thing to do because selling all without putting the funds into something that will yield more profits is a wrong move considering that he now have a family.

In one of the thread, I made a statement that those who joined Bitcoin early and still held till date are the true believers who understood what Bitcoin was and where it was going.

I just hope your approach should be different now...  for me, I will always have a Bitcoin portfolio irrespective of the price. Selling is entirely based on needs that will never involve killing the "goose that lays the golden egg"

Thanks for your valuable opinion and time sir.

It was 2014 when I first came to know about Bitcoin.
I didn't know much about Bitcoin back then just buy and sell and forget. Huh
But I got to know about the real value of Bitcoin during the bull market of 2017 and I fell in love with Bitcoin ever since and started accumulating Bitcoins through my small investments. Cheesy

So it looks like 2014 I know about Bitcoin.
In 2017 I understand and invest in Bitcoin
In 2020 I was able to withdraw my profits from Bitcoin and got married and had a child in 2021 when Bitcoin was at $70,000.
And now I have again started making small investments in Bitcoin to contribute to my future generation. Cool Cool
