I am a developer, few days ago a client told me that he wants to run ICO campaign and he need a Script for this.

Client told me number of total coins , i am having few these following questions.

- If number of total coins are 100,000 , how to calculate initial price of each coin on the bases of invested BTC

- If 10% bonus is of first week , how to calculate it.

Any help would be appreciated. I actually want to understand how initial coin offering works , and if any one can write here with formulas would be more appreciated.  Wink

The developers of the crypto coin/equity create an Ethereum smart contract. People record on the platform and get special Ethereum wallet addresses. Ahead sending ETH to this address, registered users who have promised to an ICO will get crypto tokens, the equivalent of crypto equity.

is there any one to help me please , i am still looking for this answer

1. You give BTC to strangers
2. Strangers promise to do something
3. Strangers find it easier to do nothing and keep BTC, and walk-away
4. You come to BitCoinTalk and complain

Look closely at the conditions of ICO conducted by at the moment.
I think after that, questions disappear.

Thank you for your reply , can you please tell me how you are subtracting 250 and 487.5 ?

Not quite so. Initial token price will be: 30 ฿ / 30000 TOKENS = 0,001 ฿ and for 1 ฿ invested user will get 1 BTC / 0,001 ฿ = 1000 TOKENS
Then you will correct the amount of tokens for users who got a bonus, uniformly subtracting the bonus amount from everybody else. Yes, early bird investments are more profitable. In fact you can come up with your own allocation formula and use it. You can search ICONOMI blog for bonuses post, afair they shared their calculations.

Anyway, for example, if we have three users and one invested 5 BTC on a first day (with 10% bonus), the second — 10 BTC on a second day with 5% bonus and the last one — 15 BTC after a week without any bonus the final calculation will be something like this:

Initial token distribution: 1: 1000 * 5  = 5000; 2: 1000 * 10 = 10000; 3: 1000 * 15 = 15000
Final token distribution: 1: 5000+(5000*0.1) = 5500; 2: 10000-250 = 9750. 9750 + 9750*0.05 = 10237,5; 3: 15000-250-487,5=14262,5;

Let's check the total number of tokens: 5500+10237,5+14262,5 = 30000.

- If number of total coins are 100,000 , how to calculate initial price of each coin on the bases of invested BTC

Usually the final price (= initial) is calculated after ICO completion. You simply divide the amount of funds raised by the total number of tokens and Voila!

- If 10% bonus is of first week , how to calculate it.

Same way — after ICO completion and final token distribution you just increase the amount of tokens for everyone eligible for bonus.

Thanks for your reply. This ICO campaign will be not a scam we will have escrow service from this forum.

Please i need a little more information, for example we want 30 BTC of investment , and we are going to distribute 30,000 coins , and in first 10 tokens we got 1 btc investment so price of our coins will be calculated as following.

CoinPrice = 1 / 30,000

Final price of our coin after ICO completion :
For example we have 20 BTC of investments from all tokens then

CoinPrice =20 / 30,000

Now question is this how to give 10% bonus of first week to Investors.
