We are creating a financial betting dapp for TRON which is completely decentralised but in order to support non-Dapp browser users/wallets we will have a version which is semi-centralised in that you can play in your browser with altcoins too rather than the native TRC20 coin.

The idea of using of a centralized/decentralized option is completely dependent on the user and isn't related to the company which is designing the Dapp. Addition of altcoins to the platform is a good move to improve the adoption as many of the gamblers prefer altcoins over the native TRC20 coins. Though I rarely use tron based coins as majorly I gamble through bitcoin, but the robust speed of the blockchain tends to bring a lot more gamblers in future.

If decentralization tend to be on par with the centralization, the site wouldn't lose its position in the market as they would be treated upon the same for both the versions. Trust plays a major role than decentralization in terms of gambling markets and gaining trust would subsequently bring in more people towards the site.
This is true with gambling as well as with trading exchanges. Though the exchanges and gambling sites are third parties the trust gained through its legitimate service adds more people use the services. When a gambler faces an issue he/she can raise a support. The same will be attended and rectified. As in the above quote decentralization/centralized gambling sites looks similar but the trust factor is the one that brings in gamblers.

I don't think it will have too much of an impact from the perspective of gamblers.
hmmm I guess not.

Decnetralisation is certainly one of the big draws of crypto, and a principal reason for its superiority over fiat. But... just looking at bitcoin, we all know that the price is a lot higher now than when it started. The rising price brings new people into bitcoin, in expectation of profit. Whilst decentralisation is still a key motivator to a lot of people, there are plenty more, probably the majority, who just want profit irrespective of the medium. I don't think a semi-centralised dapp for alt gambling will have a problem.
Decentralization matters the most for some gamblers who don't want to show their identity for some reason, I see one though not official gambling is seen as vice and not a form of entertainment, it forms a social  condemnation coz they see it as a bad habit or just a waste of money, and most of us don't want and don't need to be disrespected due to this. So that's why decentralization is a key for some casino who has a lot of user.

If you are asking this question regarding gambling apps you wanna build with support for TRON no one will really care if you create it or not.The gamblers are happy right now with the options they have.If you want to make an impact try and create something unique which we don’t see in the big casinos right now and if it is appealing I am  sure it will have success.Decentralisation is important but in general usage of the crypto not in gaming specifics.
We know that blockchain tech can really be integrated in several industries that do exist but as you said if we do talk about gaming specifically then it wont really matter that much specially on Decentralization aspects and surely people will stick out into those platforms that already give out on what they do seek of. We have lots of Tron and Eos gambling sites at the moment but what level
of attention they do attain? It isnt really that much compared to those casinos that majority is been dealing with.I can say that their sites design is far way more better but people cant just
easily ignore into things that they had been dealing since from the start.

Its better if you also give the link for the demo of the games so we can try if it's enjoyable to play.

We already have many gambling sites now so you need to have unique gambling site ideas to offer in user's if you want them to stay and play. it will depend how good the game you develop if its just a normal gambling games then you need to make a contest or a lot of promotion if you want to be on top.

For now we cant give suggestions since you are not giving us idea what kind of gamez do you have and we can't play it.

Compare rates on different exchanges & swap.
Well, as long as the semi-centralized is not sold to me as decentralized. Players should be aware that it is not decentralized or it's not as decentralized as the one you claim is Completely Decentralized.
By the way, is the centralized part going to be non-custodial?  I will probably consider betting on it if you have something that interests me and if the platform is non-custodial, reputable, secure, easy-to-use etc

I don't think it will matter much.

What you can do is offer something different to players.
Something that would really look interesting and inviting.
Promotions, bonuses, competitions and so on. With this applied, you won't have customers that are bored with the games that you will input.
Start a beta testing. We could try it if you want.

In terms of gambling, I don't think it's that important.
The quality of service and long term reliance are seen as more important by most players. To be able to play conveniently without having to deal with on-chain transactions and delays every time to roll is seen as a greater achievement. Perhaps my only concern would be long term deposits. If you are an investor for example, I'd much rather see a trustless solution for storing my funds. For example multi sig and potentially an eponymous custodian holding part of the key. This way casinos are less likely to run with the funds for example. Multisig can be done without decentralization too. The payment method is aldeady decentralized. Not everything in the operations of the web also needs to be.

That's the bottleneck in most dapps, getting players on board.
Maybe gamblers are used to bitcoin and other alts, and some don't want to get out of their comfort zone.
But since they are offering their version of semi-centralized with other altcoins, maybe they can still attract players.
But they need good exposure as there are so many gambling sites and they are in competition in getting players out there.
Yes, they would really have that chance but it wont really be an easy path for them to take yet we know that gambling industry is vast and you would really need that exposure thing

and try out your best on how to attract gamblers as best as you can.If they do make out that semi-centralized then there might be a chance but i do still doubt that people

might not land a finger on this one since they do able to play on casual platforms that suits them most.

Frankly speaking and to be honest with my input towards those dapps specially on the betting/gambling side.It doesnt really get too much attraction.

Yes, there are several that do able to get some players and generate profits but it cant really be compared to those platforms that do currently and abundantly exist to this market.

Im not saying that this platform is shit but it do only do goes second in line. Decentralization can still be attained in most gambling sites.
