it is important so that there will be record in the forum as to when your project were first introduced to the public and open for questions. don't follow the scam projects who only posted bounty threads, while they can erase all the details they are saying in telegram channels. Reddit will actually do but its best to do it here so people can quote what had been said here.

doesn't really matter right now, nobody even cares about the ANN thread of the new startup project. they better focus on promoting the project first elsewhere. after tokensales is complete then create an ANN thread in this forum. Big projects like Bittorent don't even have ANN Threads here. even Binance (BNB) does not have their official thread on bitcointalk. so it doesn't matter whether the startup project has an ANN thread or not.

Believe it or not, It's no longer a necessity to have a bitcointalk announcement thread. I feel this is so because 90% of the ann threads created between 2016-2018 have been long forgotten. Besides for exposure it is for formality I supposed. Though you could do open a campaign or other stuff without further announcement. There are some projects that didn't create any announcement threads but they still did well but you have to always aim to reach as many audience as possible when you are trying to kick-start your project, some people do not trust any project that does not have an ANN thread in Bitcointalk and moreover it's free advertising anyways so I didn't my see a reason why you shouldn't go for it, an ANN thread also gives your community members the opportunity to ask questions directly from the. Bitcointalk forum if they don't want to visit your telegram group.

First, ANN thread adds more activities to the project as it will make the team active through answering calculated questions, so in my own opinion it is very important. Also, through the ANN thread, if the team proved to be what they are , they will stand a better chance of attracting investors. However, irrespective of the fact ANN thread is important, but what also truly matters is keeping it active, monitoring it for questions as well as answering the questions. Another point you should know is, this is the largest crypto forum, so getting a project expose is kinda pretty easy.

I wonder how will you be able to manage a bounty campaign without the ANN Thread, there are times when I read bounty campaigns I also read the ANN Thread just for checking of its credibility and project objective. It is also needed to attract investors and to have a community that will discuss the details of the project. It provides interaction between the projects admin and crypto-users since some group in telegram is no longer discussing some important details or due to many interactions it is hard to retrack the discussion. I have seen many projects without ANN doing well and have seen most with ANN not doing well, but that doesn't mean that ANN thread isn't important. ANN is very important because it will go a long way in exposing the project in question to many investors in this space owing to its large user base. ANN will also make it possible for people to say their mind as well as contributing to the growth of the project through asking constructive questions etc. Furthermore, I would advice you to create one, then monitor it everyday to know what people feels about the project while sending the feedback to the team for more improvement.

I think what he did is just the best that a newly starting bounty manager should do. That is to ask some fundamental questions to get the experience of others, as well as to learn from it. Sooner or later, he can figure out the importance of creating and ANN thread for their project. Despite the fact that you're already managing their bounty campaign, It is important for the startup to have an announcement thread which will feature the company's goals, objectives, features and details about what is and what's not. That should have been the first thing to do in my opinion.

I think it's imperative for any startup to post their Announcement thread up so normal investors as well can engage in the chat and also ask legitimate questions. Not everyone wants to spend all day on Telegram or other social media and thye might just want to post a question or inquiry on the forum when they get some free time. I believe you should make an ANN thread for the project so that people can engage themselves in the conversation and also the Admins can post regular updates and a progress report on the project as well. Try to make one or get one made and I am sure the project will gain more support and momentum having an Announcement thread where people can read up on the latest info and not just have a bounty thread up there.

The reason why ANN thread is important is that, it will give the project more exposure, and also create an avenue where members can ask questions, compare questions, answers, ideas etc through this way educating everyone. You might say, telegram group can do it, yes it can, but this forum is basically the largest crypto forum duly moderated and it is where you will find brilliant minds, smart investors etc who will challenge you thus making you to offer efficient services while growing your project. So I think it's wise you get started by creating the ANN thread.

This is not to spoil everyone pushing you to create an ANN but it's a battlefield on that board. If ever you decide to do it, know that your thread might be pushed down to the second or maybe third page quickly

I think it is very important to make ANN thread as your New Startup, with so many people knowing the project you are running to promote, so for that you have to be really serious about making this, because if there isn't, I am sure your project is not will never run well in the future.

In making an ANN thread here in the forum is already a type of announcement. Now, without this concepts you cannot show the real content what you are promoting here, Aside from that with it you are exposing also the future plan of the project and to make your community here be attract of course you need to tell us here transparently the future plan through ANN, get it?

Let's put it this way, you want to create a startup in Japan and your main target is Japanese. What will you do to attract and educate them about what are you doing and what will you achieve for the future? Of course, it is an announcement, right? It is very crucial for the company to make an announcement regarding its startup because it can help you with promotion and awareness.

This is very important for a new startup project. Because an ANN thread can promote your project in more effective ways. But the project has to be something interesting and the ANN thread look should be catchy, otherwise, people won't even view low-grade ANN!

From what i see, ANN thread is like short version of whitepaper. So it is really important because investor sometime don't need a lot of things described and only important part about the project. Maybe that is why there are bounty about ANN and whitepaper although what contain in both of it almost same. If me i will look ANN first then whitepaper or sometime not read whitepaper. Well, Announcement thread is also a good way to make sales, and it is essential that is the medium of transparency of the campaign although telegram is also one of the medium on announcing. Investors are relaying most of the time on ann thread rather than on other medium.

I don't know about large but there are people who are interested in looking at Announcement Threads. It's not mandatory but since you decided to launch a bounty campaign here, you might as well create an Announcement thread. There are also a few people who scrutinizes new start ups and check them for whitepaper plagiarism or fake team members. If you pass that one, then I guess it's a good start. How can you create an awareness to the another person or even investors if you are not even wanna trying to create your own announcement thread to give the more facility for others to discuss your platform?
