We're used to pretty harsh winters here, but this looks really bad.

Hope you all are safe and sound.

That's a terrifying video to watch. It's being about the world staying at home with the pandemic and now here is another threatening one from nature. I'm sure you guys most have been used to it but, some people really get unfortunate and loose valuables in the process. It's in times like this that makes some region feel fortunate about there weather and region than others but, i would want to remind us that we are all together as a global community and the effects from what afflicts a neighbor can be felt at this far side. You guys should do well to stay safe.

Just last week our area was hit was 70mph winds and a windchill of -78F.  But no accidents or loss of power.  We're a lot more used to this weather and I know the people in Texas are not.

I hope everyone is OK.

We may have different views in this forum, but I guess we all have the same view when it comes to this situation.

May you guys stay in good shape and good health. Hoping you guys are okay.

I am not in tx but but the video footage from there about the situation is terrible, the media reports that electricity have been restored to over 2 million homes, i can only imagine what the others who are still waiting for power to be restored are going through. The weather is cold in my current location, but nothing compared to the temperature's from texas. There is electricity, and we are staying warm with some cups of tea.
