As I am reading all replies here regarding Factom, i realized that people have different and varying opinion and ideas about Factom and there is no one I consider authoritative on this digital currency. I actually like the name Factom but more than the name we have to look at the people behind the coin and the plans they are lining for it. So is there anyone here who can give us facts on Factom and can tell us the direction the coin is tracking so far?
Ive researched them myself as well and the lead guy said he dont give two shits about market price he wants to concentrate on his buisness so ya if your looking to make a quick buck move on even though price is up a good amount today, this is def a long term investment in my opinion.
long term investment, but how long? When do you think will be its prosperous time? Any chance for that in 2017 or is it longer than that, I know there is no definite answer for this but still, what do you think?

I dont think it will be a possible situation in the future. I was searching for a good altcoin to invest for long term and the fluctuations in Factom made me think about it as an option but I felt the support team and developers are not serious about it.

It has a business model that is nullified by existing free alternatives.
And it so far has not shipped a sell-able product, despite having solid finance.
If it wants to survive it is better off moving to become an asset on a more assured platform.

factom is good coin but for become 5 top altcoin in the world i think thats impossible
