I have 6x MSI 8Gb RX 580 cards, on the fan side its just normal temp. (25'C)
On the rear back plate they are hot (50'C)

Fan's running at 30% (before whirring noise begins).

How is the airflow on 570 and 580?
Do the hot air flow out on the front (where the connectors are) or the back?

What videocards are we talking about - references or not? For example, turbines emit hot air outside the case, and 580 Nitro+ in the case. Airflow depends on the type and model of fans installed on a particular card.

Depends on the type of cards, however most of the RX gpu's with 2 type of blowers tend to blow at the back passing thru backplate and rear

see this picture

especially on sapphire nitro+
