I will say that you are wrong here. The reason one person can benefit from a price increase is that someone else is losing. One's profit is another one's loss. That's how buy and sell works and buying at a low price and selling at a higher price gives you profit. When the price pumps, many will sell. That will create a dump in price. Those who are unable to sell during price pumps will be at a loss. So not everyone is getting the benefit of the price increase.

Not everyone who is into Bitcoin investment has the plan to hodl for a long time. Some choose the path to trade it to make profits. That includes both profits and losses.
