Bitcoin is such a creaky relic ?

The transaction confirmation of bitcoin is very long, the block size is mostly over 990 kB. If it keeps like that for a few more months, people will lose interest.

I can tell you know nothing about Bitcoin.

To get some crypto, you do not need to but any.  And it's value never falls.

Spoetnik is right, only suckers "pay" for crypto.

@OP
The IPO bubble will burst after IOTA hits the exchanges

After all, no matter how awesome the user experience, Ether, BTS, NXT, Waves, Lisk, WBB are all just Bitcoin 2.0

What crypto is fast, anonomous, scalable, quantum resistant, and free to send?

So you think turning all of crypto into a crowd funding ICO scam coin cloning juggernaut
is a positive constructive advancement innovation step forward improvement over BITCOIN ?

For the DAO, it will take more than a few months to a few years to burst as it takes time to invest the proceeds.

In the retrospecitve it took 1 day  Grin

Keep telling yourself that about ETH. Smiley

He is right though. I am an ETH bull, but I am not a fan of all these ICOs and presales. Its way too easy for people to get taken advantage of.

Buyer beware, high risk/high potential reward. Most of the ICOs are complete crap, but I still wouldn't group projects like Ethereum and Lisk in that group.

I'm also an ETH bull (because Bitcoin is such a creaky relic)... but the DAO is a complete scam/embarrassment.

The DAO was designed on the back of a napkin by a group of ETH millionaires led by Stephen Tual...
Guys who could ** easily ** finance their half-baked Slock.it project...
But why invest even $0.01 of your own money when you can take the entire Ethereum community to the cleaners.

Also, the usual dogmatic, self-righteous suspects here act as if the tiny Crypto Ghetto invented security ICO/IPOs...
When, in fact, this has been business as usual on Wall Street for over 100 years.

My favorite current Wall Street scam...
Is notorious drug/sex fiend John Mcafee's takeover of a microscopic, public web security company MGT at $0.25...
And now after 3 months of shuffling stuff around and even bringing in some Bitcoin luminaries as advisors...
MGT is up 1300% at $3.44... and sports a market cap of $80,000,000. lol

The ico-game is destined to fail.
Presales, ico, ito, premine ... were despised in the community not for no reason before ETH revived the scam-concept. Now we got to deal with the fallout until the dumb money is whiped, then we'll be back to good old pow-launches.

Obviously with the success of Ethereum, Dao, Lisk, Waves etc. we are now seeing a host of ICOs popping up. However there are just so few BTCs in circulation and with the recent BTC rise in price we will see more and more people abstain from investing in these projects, especially with most of the "devs" not even trying very hard.

Thoughts?
