It's a really difficult question which we probably can't answer. Bitcoin has a bright future but we have to help with its development. If we don't do anything right now, Bitcoin won't be able to surpass fiat and replace it! It is still to slow for daily transactions, that's the most important thing if we want to use it in our daily lifes! Altough it's great if you want send money to someone who's not from the same country as yours.
I truly believe that bitcoin will last as long as people will be using it on their everyday transactions. And when thhe time comes for bitcoin to rest then another coin would take its place and become dominant.

Well if you look bitcoin's history its seems it will survive until the end of world.
If you start a business with bitcoin you'll surely get profit. I my self use bitcoin to invest. No one can replace bitcoin with other currency. It will survive centuries and thats why people using it as they know it will be only currency that will survive 100+ years.
I think that bitcoin could even survive for more than hundred years.No legality issues and even china's actions against it could not stop it.There is no altcoin seen with the potential to replace it.Banks and governments have tried their best to destroy bitcoin,but they could not do so.Even the frequent hard forks also could not stop bitcoin's success.Jamie dimon's tweet could not make it fall.
But in future,after twenty years,it may face a threat from quantum computers.Bitcoin wallet's private key s may be easily read by quantum computers from the public key itself.So,bitcoin's security which are stored in the wallets may be compromised.

It depends on us. If there are still bitcoin users in this world then it will survive.

As long as their are still people who are interested in bitcoin and have the courage to save bitcoin from its downfall bitcoin can survive for a sometime even at its lowest price. And I think it is possible that investors don't want to invest in bitcoin anymore if there is a new discovery of crytpocurrentcy whereas more advance and profitable to investors. As time past we know that things are inevitable so it is possible to happen 40-50 years from now.
since it's the oldest token I believe it become like USD for fiat market, unless something huge happens it will stay with us while others will disappear.
I cannot say it to you with any guarantees. I think it will be low price and after this papm after this dump it will be like roller coaster in a Disneyland. Sometime it will be banned governments some countries...but a lots important what will be the atmosphere over around the world and NOT only money are important if half of planned are burned with wars. War can stop all and bitcoin also

Hello author! Hello all on this forum! You know it's hard to predict but of course we have some options what exactly will be with bitcoins after some time. I need know you about what period of time we are talking? Thousand years or just ten years this is important. I know there is some guys who drive this process for sure that true.
a precise answer cannot be given to the question because even we consider the factors that will be involve now and the future for the death of bitcoin no one ever gone to the future for this to be certain... it just like saying when will fiat cease to exist? its been so many years since when we used it and no one knew when will it become valueless
It will take over a 100 years for all bitcoins to be mined unless we have some groundbreaking miners. so I think we are all safe until then
We do not know yet but we will see in the next couple of years if there is an advance technology than the blockchain and another type of digital currency invented that is the time most likely bitcoin will be defeated. but it's not too soon yet maybe a half decade, bitcoin will be there in the market for a long that and I am sure of that.

It may be 10-20 years. But I believe BTC will never die. There will be many people who know BTC and they continue to buy and exchange BTC together. bitcoin will survive forever because it is use now all over the world. it will not disappear because all people love it now, because when they need to buy items and pay bills they dont need to go out they need only smartphone and internet to transfer the payment.
I wouldn't say that Bitcoin is going to be around forever, because there is always a chance that someone will try to go after it and try to prevent any of the current power structures from shifting, unless it is in their favor and they have something to gain from the rise of bitcoin. Which is something that there might be a lot of instances for someone to try and use, but the chances of those in governmental positions going after Bitcoin to keep themselves secure completely outweighs the chance of someone trying to "break in" to the entire global power structure.Well, you have a point. But someone going after it. Who wants to go after it?.
To me I feel that bitcoin has gotten the full back up to stay in this world forever. After all the greatest U.S are not in full support of it. But it's till flourishing.
if ask like that,i think bitcoin will survive forever cause in the future technology will continue grow.which will make all things related to technology will develop as well
Actually Bitcoin is known as very trusty digital currency over the world wide.I believe in heart Bitcoin is a life changing coin.Bitcoin survive life time it's my personal point of views.Keep calm & love Bitcoin.

Now that you have asked about survival of bitcoin , i would say that its just the beginning of its rise . we will see a lot more about it. as we all know bitcoin is generated or used by internet and technology , so , it would last till the technology could last which we all know that technology cannot just fade away instead its rising day by day. also , in coming years the use of bitcoin will increase eventually due to increase in literacy level in the world. so be calm bitcoin is going to last for more years we could imagine.
The BTC will live exactly as long as it promises. The next 5 years I think you should not worry about the fact that it will not cost anything.
