As many people use bitcoins it does not die. And even if its price drops, it still stays alive. The only thing to break into Bitcoins and crypto currencies is that shutdown of internet is less likely to occur. Even though banned by countries here has not happened, the price of bitcoins has increased. So nothing can stop the new generation where our world is less money
I am investing thinking that it will be the key currency over the dollar from now on.

It will survive until many people try to invest and to use this but when the people dont use this i know and i think that the bitcoin will die but i hope did'nt happen becuase im still earning

i can say it will survive until we all decide to abandon it or a better technology emerges and that is far from happe ning so we should all enjoy while it last but it's never going down in the foreseeable future.

In less than 10 years time, what it has reached is very big. So nothing to worry about the survival. The long lasting will diminish only if each and every country ban it, but different country governments have different thinking on the same. We do not know how long the bitcoin will last, as long as there is internet in the world and miners then bitcoin forever can survive. From the beginning the price is very low but there is still investment so the price does not really determine whether they stop or not because as long as there are bitcoin and other coins then they survive.

I wouldn't say that Bitcoin is going to be around forever, because there is always a chance that someone will try to go after it and try to prevent any of the current power structures from shifting, unless it is in their favor and they have something to gain from the rise of bitcoin. Which is something that there might be a lot of instances for someone to try and use, but the chances of those in governmental positions going after Bitcoin to keep themselves secure completely outweighs the chance of someone trying to "break in" to the entire global power structure.

Bitcoin will technically survive forever. It is kept running by nodes all over the world. It cannot just go down at some point unless there is a catastrophic world event like an asteroid or something of that nature. It would require something like that because otherwise there are always going to be people with nodes running somewhere in the world, thus keeping the Bitcoin network alive.

I highly suggest you do more reading, this question has been asked and bitcoin has been doubted too many times before. Bitcoin is here to survive and thrive. There is a real world use to bitcoin that will potentially disrupt the world does financing and it is slowly growing in adoption everyday. At the same time, there isn't any way to turn off bitcoin because it is decentralized. The best chance you have is to shut down the internet itself.
