Topic: How long do you spend on bitcointalk every day？ (Read 234 times)

More or less like with blogs, but sometimes not as much. I do it now between 1 and 2 hours daily. I do not find it such a big problem.

I spend 2-3 hours a day max as i dont have much time at the moment, hope one day i won't need to work

Whenever I read some interesting news on cointelegraph or coin desk and I want to see others opinion about the topic which typically took me 15mins to read and and 15mins to give mine then visit gambling section for boasting my bet result or shilling the team I bet on sports betting. More or less a total of 1 to 2 hours daily. Bitcointalk is the best source of information about how crypto people feels on a certain topic which you can't find on reddit and other forum.

I just read posts and occasionally reply to posts in offtopic. There are many treasures here waiting for me to dig.

That is the best answer mate in which we learn in this forum and also we does contribute knowledge.

Moreover, in my country the spread of the corona virus is still happening, so I really choose to spend my free time on this forum. Besides being able
to avoid the corona virus, I was also able to gain a lot of knowledge about the development of the crypto world. I agree with you, the knowledge that
I get on this forum, I often share with my friends and family. Because I hope people close to me can benefit too by investing in cryptocurrencies.

Yeah that's why as long as we have free time instead of spending in nonsense socialization outside our houses and engaging in Vices lets spend here in Bitcoinalk and extend our knowledge for our own benefits.
and also helps spread the idea of crypto to our friends and familys so they will at least try investing and like us they will make progress over the time.

I really enjoy being active in this forum, besides being able to discuss cryptocurrencies, I can also make friends with people from various countries.
Bitcointalk also provided an opportunity for me to make money through a signature campaign and I am very grateful for that. So I can spend a few
hours on this forum, if a weekday maybe around 2-3 hours, but if weekend maybe I can spend more time on Bitcointalk.

In my case, it all depends on what kind of question I'm asking. Sometimes I find the information I need quite quickly, and other times it takes me several days to find it.

Not that long really, about an hour or two. I do really enjoy my time here though & have done for many years. I gained a lot of knowledge from being a poster here.

Maintaining 20 minutes every 3 hours a day . though my account was never logged out (Unless the internet died) my account is always online but i only check and to post and to of course find what's new.

You are active members of the forum, and each topic and person will be more complete with your discussion.
I will spend 1-2 hours browsing the forum and replying to posts that I can help.
I like this forum very much. I find that the knowledge gained here is much faster than other sources of information, and there are many people who can help you solve your doubts. Through the results and information they experienced, this makes me more aware of this place. Confidence, I will have more time to study here next.

Minimum of at least 2-4 hours a day specially now that I am working at home and i have plenty of time to spend .
But i usually read and run around every section .

Ohh that's sad , because i know you are missing the forum everyday but you have no choice but to stay offline for some reason.

The good part in mine is I make sure to visit the forum everyday no matter how busy i am , to be updated on what is latest and also to check the Wall Observer Thread about whats happening in the market.

Sadly I don't have a fixed answer for this. I think that the best answer would be " I would like to spend at least 2 hours, but I'm only able to spend 30 minutes at the end of the day". Granted, this is a very specific reply / entry for the pool, but ever since that the quarantine rules have been more relaxed, I find myself more and more busy at work - and as someone who never did worked from home this makes me almost unable to come here until late in the day.

I'm also not someone who actually creates lots of threads - I think that I lack the imagination / time to actually prepare some good content threads - so I mostly just jump into discussions whenever I see that I have something of value to add (or to congratulate users if the opportunity arises). So yeah, I'm quite more comfortable with this allotted time rather than not using the account at all, so that's better than nothing

It kind of depends if I am busy or not, but usually I spend between 1-2 hours every day just checking out new posts and posting a little myself. There are so many topics with active users posting new things each day. The most time I read on bitcointalk when in the metro or in the bathroom 

I usually spend 8 hours/day in this forum while taking care of my child...

my time is very flexible, because of this forum, I can take care of my children while making money online. this forum really changed my life 180%. Bitcoin is something I will never tire of discussing and I already love the habit.

I spend on Bitcointalk every day about 1-2 hours depending on the free time I have. Because I really need the latest updates about the crypto world,
so it is very important for me to access the Bitcointalk forum every day. Only in this forum I can get the information I need, and I also enjoy
interacting with some of the members here. That's what makes me never tired of accessing this forum every day.

I am still getting used to using Bitcointalk, at the moment I am spending less than an hour a day. Looking to increase it and contribute more outside of the off-topic and political areas.

4-6  hours everyday  because I currently enhance my knowledge about cryptocurrency  that's why   I'll take time to the forum

I think it is about more or less than an hour I guess I would browse and read some topics that would get me interested.
I don't really know how long I would be since I would just visit this forum whenever I have free time or when I feel like it.

My vote went for "1-2 hours" even though I don't visit the forum every day. Sometimes, I open forum on my phone to read what's new, but don't sign in because it's tricky to type new posts on a small screen.

3 to 4 hours possibly in average for a week, but I even kept reading continuously for 12 hours as well I guess especially during the huge bump and dump not because of I am happy or sad due to profits or loss but I just enjoy how people reacts to the sudden price change and their stories and drama telling made me to enjoy it.

Same here with me. I also have no fixed schedule to spend on bitcointalk. Sometimes i keep active on bitcointalk for hours on my mobile and sometimes due to busy schedule i do not login in bitcoin for 2-3 days. It really depends upon my schedule and also on the market behavior.   In times of bitcoin volatility i am more active on bitcointalk.

i can not specify  because i only relying on my daily schedule , i only allot part of my extra time aside from work to get online , But at least of minimum straight 2 hours per day is i can make sure.

and i have lot of time in weekends .

Definitely one of the most hilarious trashtalkers when it comes to spammers and scammers lol. What happened to that guy? Seemed to just stopped being active all of a sudden.

Quite a lot, but it depends on whether I'm at my job or not.  If I'm home and just watching movies on my computer, I'll have the forum pulled up in a tab and will frequently check the new threads--and I mean frequently.

I have to say, the forum used to have a lot more interesting (and by interesting, I mean salacious) threads when members like Lauda, TMAN, Vod, TECSHARE, and even cryptohunter were active, which they haven't been for what seems like forever now.  Meta and Reputation have always been two of my favorite sections, but these days they seem rather dull in comparison to this same time last year. 

And things were really crazy from 2016-2018 before the merit system was introduced.  There was drama between members and lots of threads on how to deal with the shitposting epidemic the forum was going through back then.  Now that there aren't many account farmers, account sales, or idiots trying to maximize their potential profits by shitposting their way to Legendary status, there's not much of a battle to fight anymore.  Victory almost seems kind of stale--though I certainly wouldn't want to go back to the way it was, because trying to have an actual conversation with other members was nearly impossible, because every thread would be overrun with new members dropping one-line, zero-value posts once it got started.  It was maddening.

So right now I tend to read threads in Economics, since there are a lot of important things going on in the world's economy that get talked about in that section--and I don't watch news, so I generally learn about things on bitcointalk or by accident while surfing the web.  Anyway, I spend way too much time here....but I'm OK with that. 

Since the pandemic, I'm pretty much just in-front of my computer all day, with my Bitcointalk tabs open every time(even though I'm not actively browsing Bitcointalk).

If we're talking about how long my Bitcointalk tabs are open, then easily more than 6 hours. But if we're talking about the time I spend actually actively interacting with the forums, then I'd say 2 hours. I would've probably liked spending more hours, but Bitcointalk is simply a lot less active in sort of "bearish" times.

I admit that I am a bit addicted to bitcointalk recently, and I have spent a lot of energy on bitcointalk in recent days.

I usually read many posts before reply，

I read a lot of old posts about legends and heroes.

What surprises me is that they reply to more than 10 posts per day on average，I tried to do this too, for about a week.I find this is too hard. There is too much knowledge that I don’t know in the forum. I have to spend 30 minutes to learn before replying to a post.

So now I want to do a simple survey, how long do you spend in the forum every day?
