I will never eat it. I will go vegan if there is no other source of meat. I know those synthetic meat is full of harmful chemicals.

I'm not pushing the vegetarian agenda, but surely there are more efficient ways to produce meat than big, smelly megafarms that treat animals like disposable widgets. Like this one. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2014/05/140521-synthetic-cultured-lab-meat-pig-backyard-food-science

I may try it down the road if it was offered as a free sample, but I doubt I'd ever buy and eat a synthetic steak.  Not all farms treat their animals like crap.  There is a farm about 2 hours from where I live and they supply my local meat store.

It costs a little more for their meat, but I know that its 100% local. They are raised from birth on the farm until they are slaughtered and butchered on site. The farm has really high standards and even offers tours of their facility so people can see for themselves how the animals are treated.

How long do you think it'll be before you eat your first synthetic steak?

I hope never. I don't like synthetic stuff at all. The longterm consequences of eating synthetic food are not researched well enough. I don't want to participate in an experiment.

I prefer to eat natural food. When it comes to meat, I'd rather eat less often and pay more for quality than considering synthetic stuff.

ya.ya.yo!

Soda, fat and sugar already done a great deal of damage.

Don't think additional damage from synthetic food will cause any noticeable difference.

I'd like to try it but I cant image it tastes exactly the same.

From all I heard, it doesn't. But synthetic meat is new. It's like the iPad. Everybody was hacking the original model because they basically wanted the same functionality that Android has, but subsequent generations were better.

I havent cut out meat entirely -- someday, ideally...but I could never do this. I'll just stick to, uhhh, normal food. Know what I mean?

There is no such thing as normal food.

Just about anything you eat is processed, unless you are willing to pay huge premium for organic food.

Yuck.  Embarrassed
I would try it for the novelty, but I think I would eat rats before regularly eating that stuff.

Honestly, probably never. I'm a huge supporter of Soylent, and if I want to eat meat, I'll go and eat high quality meat.
