Actually bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme. Anyone who sees or want to assume bitcoin to be a fast way of making money may be misleeding him or herself. It is important to note that bitcoin is volatile assets that add more in value if bought and held for a longer period of time. I have been I the crypto space for quite some time and I can tell you how important it is to buy and HODl bitcoin for much longer.

I am just getting started and I can say that it is not an easy nut to crack. I have a lot of confusing moments, but I hope to get better with time.

When it comes to Cryptocurrency, am a total novice, a newbie and I know nothing. In a bid to get this much required knowledge, I joined this forum when I noticed the much shared knowledge about Cryptocurrency & Bitcoin related matters as a friend offered to help out.

One important thing I have learnt is that to be successful in Cryptocurrency, one has to LEARN before embarking. If u have embarked, you must be SMART in dealings, as the crypto world is not for dumb people. One also have to be patient with investments with high hopes for positive future returns if you have studied and analysed carefully before investing. But then, learning, sound knowledge still remains my watch world and I believe this forum and more research will help..

I am always scared of investing in liquid asset that don't know how the market works, called me old school but after discussing and enlightenment from some group of friends about the Blockchain technology I became much more involved. I guess that's what led me here. One major thing about the cryptocurrency is the accessibility and easier transaction legal tender in all part of the world because of it decentralised nature. Some reliable and stable coins like BTC, EHT and USDT has help in payment of international transactions unlike buying the local currency and sending it manually

Although I started crypto a few months back but the biggest lesson I have learnt is that you have to be patient
The reason I started crypto was because of a friend of mine that was very rich but since I started I actually learnt to respect him more I now know that it wasn't an easy journey to get to where he is right now
And I won't give up as well hopefully one day me self go smile

 Dealing with crypto currency is more of patience and risk taking no doubt I think one should be exposed to this dangers before even thinking of going into it . At least it guides you and exposes you to the possible things you should expect so to avoid heart break 💔

People need to remembered that with crypto you have to start gradually and their is now way that you can always get what you want, they allow their self to be driven by the profit of others that they see and the years of experience matters a lot they don't even know the challenges that the person have faced during learning and now you are only see the profits and that is what is surprising, and bitcoin is even better than shitcoins because the market is always driven by bitcoin.

That is one of the disadvantages of investing in a shit coin because they want to make quick money if not why would you be begging a dead coin to come alive before investing you already know why it is called shitcoin anything can happen to it, the risk is what they are familiar with. Buying when the price of bitcoin is down is actually a very good one, at the end of the day you will be the one in profit. Despite all the display you see from the market you just have to ignore and keep investing that is how serious minded investors behave, they always have a standby money for investment.

I’ve not been into crypto for long it’s about 8months now, I joined this airdrops group on telegram earlier this year and somehow somehow someone introduced me to this forum, I’ve learnt that this space needs time, due diligence and making the right decisions at the right time is what will help you succeed. And the growth is not zoom zoom zoom it takes a process from 0- 10,10-20……100.
There’s Valid investment (Bitcoin) and gambling (altcoins) in crypto.

Don't you think it will be wrong to give a newbie the idea of gambling on altcoins due to the high risks that is associated with them because saying that no risk no reward is just like giving an impression for them to risk on altcoins but even if they should invest with an amount they can bear in case of losses but i don't think it is a good practice for newbies to invest in altcoins except for people who are matured in the system and are very much aware of the high risks involved and are willing to take the risks no matter the outcome. For newbies, buying and hodling bitcoin is more preferable than risking their money on altcoins since they are emotionally affected if they experience losses on altcoins because they are still new and don't have so much knowledge about altcoins and majority of them depends on what they hear from others and not based on their personal assessment of a particular project.

Altcoins are get-rich-quick shitcoin schemes, with higher risks and higher rewards. Bitcoin, on the other hand, is not; you just need to understand the differences. You can buy bitcoin and hodl it for a long time, while occasionally gambling with altcoins for short-term gain. The chances of being liquidated are high, but no risk, no reward, right? 

I haven't even been into  cryptocurrency for that long but the biggest thing I have learnt is that it is not a get rich quick scheme cause at first that's exactly what I thought it was

True true as you talk no be for lazy people, in all honesty eh no be wetin I been dey expect wey I see for crypto, I dived into crypto with an unrealistic expectations thinking it was a get rich quick scheme but it's more than that as I now know that crypto is a high risk and high reward investment. I have learnt to always expect not to gain all the time, I have  learnt that crypto isn't something to rush into, I have learnt to do my research before investing, I have also learnt to be patient. I'm not up to a year in this space but I've learned a few things.

I really can't remember though if I think hardware I'll be able to pin a certain time span. However I think the biggest thing I've learnt from the crypto space entirely is privacy and and security. I think those two aspects of crypto and the internet at large is often underestimated. Take hodling for example, with proper understanding of how to secure your coins, you'll likely end up losing everything to some hacker or scammer.
The crypto space is a very nice space but it could also be a nightmare to people with poor understanding about it as well as those with wrong Ideas too. For the case of bitcoin, I've been able to understand over time how decentralised networks should look like as well as it's importance.

Crypto is not something you enter thinking you will profit once, but because they see some people profiting from it and don't know how many months or years they spent before receiving that can of dollars. Na, the most difficult coin is bitcoin; it does not increase like other shitcoins, and you must be patient before achieving your goal on bitcoin. That is the greatest currency to invest in and minimize your risk with. Last week's market was quite awful, with coins decreasing dramatically and some investors seeing their capital shrink and begging for the coin to rise again. Now that the Bitcoin price is decreasing, if you have another funds is better for you to top your invest he will definitely raise and get double profit because bitcoin is a good investment Crypto, the prices won't increase easily with how he is now. but definitely you will just wakeup one day and see the price increase huge and you will smile on it and get what you are waiting for.

Cryptocurrency is not for the weak neither is it for the dull, what happened is that market get face and before you go enjoy the market find way know the faces wey e'm get before jumping into market. Like as e be now people go think say those people way invest during bear run go dey cash out and na that time dem go wan go investment for wetin people don day already cash out.

This one na wrong targeting because if you invest at the wrong time you get wrong results although not entire wrong results but e go take you time to recover the ones you lost but, just focusing knowing when the market is a the right face of investment. Like this if person wan investment s/he still get the chances to invest because we never fully enter full bullrun instead buy as little as you can hold am and wait for the massive iceblock next year.

I will not lie to you OP, this year make me 4 years in this industry and I have learned so many positive and negative things from this industry, that will make me to be bold to invest my money to any genuine investment that will bring good profits in the future. I learned how to take a risk to invest in a potential altcoins, and it has been helping me to maintain a short term hodling with altcoin and there is nothing that will make me to hodl altcoins for long period of years, because I know they are not reliable like BTC in this industry.

How to buy cryptocurrency in the bear run and sell cryptocurrency in the bull run are part of some of the things I learned from this industry,  once there is a bear season in the market, I will use the money I have at hand to buy and hodl for bull run to occur before I can sell to make profits, and it has helped me to accumulate profits from this industry.

Lol...The years of experience don't still matter about our crypto success, what matters is our earnings and that can be gotten through the right use of our instincts and experience, we should also pray for luck in the choice of the coins/tokens we choose. I've seen new investors win big by buying only one coin and I've seen many experienced investors that are struggling to make money out of crypto space, so it varies. Notwitsabding, I am also 2 years in crypto investment, but when it comes to ist trading and use for payments, I am way more than that, if not almost 10 years now.

This is a good advice as patience is key in the world of investment. What's important is for the investor to make sure he understands the coin to buy very well and keep the investment moderate to avoid issues. It's also wise to invets the amount you can afford to lose, this is the only thing that can overcome fear in risk-taking activities.

Bro, you no need to blame am or ask if the person wey bring am on board teach am well or not, most times people wey dy bring this newbies them, tell them one or two things, but I believe say no be everything, so the rest is left for the person to work, by doing his own research and findings to know more on the industry, and another thing is that everyone no get the same learning speed, some people just naturally dull, so make we no expect perfection from everybody.

Lastly, one key thing for this crypto industry wey I don observe say dy very important and if you get am, you go hardly fail in the industry, and that thing na knowledge, without knowledge on how the system works and how to navigate your way around it, bro, you go she shege for mostly scammers hand or you go ignorantly dive into shit coin wey go make you lose money, so in essence of wetin I dy try talk is that knowledge is the principal thing in this crypto industry.

You sure say person wey teach you about cryptocurrency teach you well? This one wey leaning about cryptocurrency don turn to school. Although cryptocurrency can be complicated for people wey no take time understand the whole concept, but if you understand the basics ones, you go no say E depend on your area of concentration. For cryptocurrency is either you buy bitcoin preferably, or any other altcoin and HODl. or you go into trading. If na buy and HODl, the leaning process dey easy but if na trading Naim E dey complex. But for me nothing too hard because other people dey do am too.

Where I go agree with you say cryptocurrency or bitcoin investment no be for lazy people be say, you must work sothat the money you get you go use am Invest. and you go also dey patient. No be just a get rich quick scheme or Ponzi scheme wey dem go tell you to put $100 to get $200. You must work hard invest and dey patient and wait for Long.

I have been in crypto for quite some time, I have some ups and downs one thing I can say I've learnt so far is that if you decide to Hodl you have to split what you've got, keep some and sell the rest because investing 100 percent of your capital is a risky gamble. Many people have had lots of heartbreaks in crypto because they don't apply this system especially when they are dealing with alt coins. Risk management is very crucial in the financial market because anything can happen

What I have learnt is that one can't no everything about Bitcoin without getting involved in it, after some class about Bitcoin I started investing in it and as time goes on I started knowing some things that I didn't know before and I found out a better strategy to use in my Bitcoin accumulation, one can learn everything about Bitcoin until you start your own investment journey.

Secondly I have learnt that in other to secure your Bitcoin investment one needs to learn or know how to manage his or her money very well and also have a backup funds, some people always dip hands into there Bitcoin investment because they don't know how to manage there salary and to grow in your Bitcoin journey you must learn how to manage your salary or money very well, backup funds helps in time's of emergency and without having a backup funds one will always dip hands into his or her Bitcoin investment.

And thirdly I have learnt that one needs to be consistent and patient in his or her Bitcoin investment journey, this two things helps to become successful in Bitcoin investment.

If I have ever learned anything in cryptocurrency it should be that of not being too greedy and always being patient. Don't be in haste to invest do personal research before rushing to do your investment than flying from project to projects with this you make yourself too vulnerable to be attacked by fake projects.

See better questions, I have been introduced to cryptocurrency just early of last month and joined bitcointalk early of this month, I can say it a pleasure to be here, but no be small thing o, firstly when I told my friend that I want to join, he first laughed and ask me when last did I read my books i told him that's when I finished from school, he told me that I can read a lot here and also be patient same time, I said okay I'm ready to join and I joined,

Well I don't have much to say though, but when it comes to this space the learning phase don't have ending because we all are learning everyday from eachother. Because everyday things are changing and this space really broad that's why most time alot of folks will just a find a place they can base on In this space because of the broadness. Like most people have encountered with either they are airdroping or trading or doing one or two things . So this space is really fun and we are here to learn and same time earn through this space.


Exactly in this space most of us also past through alot of difficulties before getting to the place we are now . Like me I remember I started with crypto trading without being well prepared and I endup losing massively because I didn't learn with demo account I actually go into it with my hard Earn money because I thought I could make it quick through this space but was actually the other way round. I dont think OP meant when you come to the forum rather he was referring when you heard about cryptocurrency. Because i know you must have heard about cryptocurrency before now and have some knowledge before you heard about the forum and want to grow your knowledge here.

Learning crypto terms was not easy for me at first. It took time to get familiar with some of the terms but consistently seing them made me understand and know about it faster. Having to use the centralized exchange from the beginning was a problem but all thanks t0 YouTube and reddit where i got some useful resources that helped my journey. At last the forum made me a pro i am now.

Di most important thing wey I don learn for cryptocurrency be say no be get rich quick scheme, some people de think say na place wey you go enter and small time you go blow. Di reality be say weda na crypto investment or trading you choose, no be for the di unemployed or people wey no get money because you need money to make money for inside crypto business. Di only wey to make quick money for cryptocurrency na to gamble your funds, if you buy cryptocurrency wey no get reputation for di market, you fit to get plenty ROI or di project fit to scam you and you go lose all your money.

For dis forum I learn say person need to carry out research before dem go buy any cryptocurrency odawise your money fit to burn. Na for here I get di knowledge say na Bitcoin be di most trusted cryptocurrency wey don build reputation for di crypto market as a store of value. Anoda thing wey I don learn na di importance of securing your private keys and seed phrase because dat na di only proof of ownership to your coins for inside Blockchain.

I have been also 6-7years in crypto and I can tell you that it has been a rollercoaster ride. The most difficult time was the the first 3 years when I still trying to get a hang of the whole crypto market stuff. I didn't know the directions to take, whether it was crypto trading, or mining in the smallest form, or just holding. But as time went on, and as I studied more and got more acquainted with the community, I knew what I wanted and stuck with it. And I can tell you that whether the market goes up or comes down, I dey alright because of my psychology.

I've been into crypto for over a year now And I don't have any dramatic or failure stories to share for now but I've seen close friends of mine talk about their experiences so for me it's been a journey of learning and growth basically.

The most important lesson that I have learnt has been the importance of patience and education as I have seen so far, I've spent countless hours reading and learning about the market And it's helped me make informed decisions. Well for me I guess it's not being long but I have definitely learnt alot and the key to staying updated is actually opening your mind to different things and making a lot of research yourself because from my little understanding of the whole crypto space is that no one ever knows too much and basically most of the things are just speculations, so making research will just keep you on edge over some vague information and thought of some so called crypto experts.

The first thing I'll say I learnt about Cryptocurrency is that it is not a scam like I thought it was when I heard about Bitcoin. In years back, there were lots of ponzi schemes like mmm and ultimate cycler trending and I lost from both even though I made some profits from ultimate cycler at the early stages, so that made me feel Bitcoin was another scam.

 After a while, i picked Interest during my university days by 2016/17 and the first thing i learnt like I said earlier is that Bitcoin wasn't a scam programmed like the ponzi schemes I mentioned to do away with people's money and too I had to clear the impression that Bitcoin wasn't the only Cryptocurrency and shouldn't be referred to as the general name for all Cryptocurrency.

 But coming into this forum I'm beginning to realize that Cryptocurrency is more deeper than I thought and there are lots of profitable Cryptocurrency assets one could benefit from, all you need to do is make proper research and read the white paper of any Cryptocurrency assets before going into it.

I never really Tay like that for the cryptocurrency space but I fit attestify say the things wey I don learn e too plenty well well especially when we talk about the Bitcoin in particular because when we say cryptocurrency na the whole entire big space and all the principles that follows it. Well enough, I have been introduced to cryptocurrency for over a decade now since it became a news in our campuses and everyone was curious to join the trend only that during those periods, cryptocurrencies were more tagged to fraudulent activities such as the internet scams, ponzi scheme, etc so many of us looked at it from that angle and never cared about joining or taking a step further to learn. I think during those period of time, only those who were more curious to know about the technology actually survived in starting well off on time which largely benefited them. Today, I'm also one of those who can testify that cryptocurrencies are real and have come to remain, so the advice for any young person out there who doesn't know the benefits yet, is to crawl around the industry.

Omo me I dom learn many things oo. First wen I come here everything just dey like mystery for me like I mean I been no even get knowledge about Bitcoin and any crypto currency of a thing e been just be like say I dey read something wen I no dey understand but on my own I come decide to back am up with research in case of some words I no understand now I dom learn many things wey concern Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies but na seriousness matters oo but the real matter be say I still dey wan learn because I Neva know all infact no body fit know all concerning crypto currency because everyday new things and knowledge dey come.

I was told of cryptocurrency by someone (Taught) in the month of November 2022 in school and in the month of December 28, 2022, 06:24:56 AM i join di forum and doing well but was kick out and cameback with 2nd chance and in my absence here. I invested small and I made some thousands last or previous ATH.

At first cryptocurrencies nor be get rich quick, but with nice approach person go fit make good amount of money from it . But first person need to take e time learn first because without learning person nor fit earn for this space. But to say the truth, anyone wey call em self real investor suppose to get patient enough to withstand the pressure of lose. Why I talk like this be say if person no get mind and em dey invest for Bitcoin, when Bitcoin go start to dey depreciate for a while, the person go sell out of fear. OP you are right that has been the idea of people outside the world of cryptocurrency they believe that people who are already into it is a millionaire because they have the mentality that as Bitcoin price has gone to this extent every investors would have gotten more than one Bitcoin on there portfolio while others believe that after investing on Bitcoin they may likely be given some privileges like giveaway and easily making profits because why I said so is that somebody has approach me to know if after investing on Bitcoin he will be given some little amount as the time goes by, so actually people have been on different opinion, mindset and understanding about Bitcoin, though in terms of going into Bitcoin investment I don't think there is any much learning involves because all you need is just to hold, so the only thing majorly advisable is to at least get the basic knowledge about Bitcoin investment so that it will enable you know the kind of risk you will be exposed to and also understand what Bitcoin is all about in other not to be influenced by wrong information about Bitcoin from people or in the news.

OP, I d try reason how reading of books take relate to crypto. Wey be sae, crypto na about invest with your spare money by utilizing a DCA method, keep your seed phrase safe, don't have your crypto coins on exchange and most importantly have a side hustle than depending on crypto investment for survival because not having that "a side hustle or a job" go fit make one sell their crypto at loss price when something emergency befalls them or their family.

OP, from the statement above, em relate to reading of books? No be the simple basic knowledge wey a newbie for crypto suppose know, without reading any single book relating to crypto.

Why we are all here(btt forum) na to learn more about crypto and the knowledge it comes with, so that we no go fall victim of scams, to defend and explain better to those newbies wey lack the knowledge of crypto, help families members and friends not to invest wrongly in crypto and help in spreading the awareness of crypto to people around us so that they can see the need of having bitcoin as another store of assets or investment that can yield them a long time profits

I agree with you that bitcoin isn't a get quick rich source. A lot of newbies have got that mindset that it's such a quick way to make profit and when they finally invests and it didn't give them the quick expectations, they begin to think otherwise if the market is still trustful or not.
Op investing on bitcoin doesn't seem so hard studying as you said, the primary learning required to invest in bitcoin is the ability of your emotions not to panic when your assets decreases in value in the market and how you don't have to be tempted to sell your assets with little profit accounted, including your holdings securities so that you don't lost your funds.
These are key minors which any bitcoin enthusiast can easily adapt to untill we refer to the technical knowledges of it.
It's a flexible source of investment which both lazy people and unlazy are fitted in because it doesn't require manpower as the stock market may do.

Op normally crypto is not a get rich quick scheme, sometimes I used to wonder why most people's normally have that mindset that crypto is a get rich quick, is not something to jump into without having the knowledge this what most newbie normally do when they hear about cryptocurrency their head will fool that they are going be Rich in a few days without noing The risk that are involved, that is why most of them normally end up losing at last why because they didn't want to learn just me like being in the Bitcointalk forum was the best thing that have ever happened to me, because I have really learnt a lot of things about cryptocurrency.

Op, I don't know where you learnt that one will read book tire in cryptocurrency perhaps it's not about reading books rather it's about understanding what you are reading so that you will know how to apply it at a given point in time and also how to follow crypto. However, hesitating to invest and make profit can land one to where they won't like that is a regrettable place though sometimes we can still make something out of hesitation but it's not good. Fear is good and at same time very bad cause it can make us not to dive into wrong project and sometimes it can also make us not to invest in a nice project perhaps we should follow our instinct most times cause it has really favored me though I don't know about others instinct.

I entered the crypto space last year and since then I have learnt so many things about cryptocurrency and when i joined this forum, it has really broadened my views to increase my knowledge about the many technicalities in the space. Aside from the technical aspects of Bitcoin, like checksum and the likes, I have also learnt a lot of Bitcoin phrases in this forum, like FUD FOMO IMO DYOR not your keys not your coins, store your coins in a none custodial wallet, invest the amount that you can afford to loose, there are so much more that I am benefiting here in the forum.

The crypto market is not where someone can just jump into without without having some basic knowledge about how important it is to protect your seed phrase and private keys, knowing about cryptocurrency seasons and guiding against various scams in the crypto market. It is not so hard to navigate in the crypto space if someone will take the time to learn and understand how cryptocurrency works.

I wouldn't say am a crypto investor but rather a crypto investor and enthusiate, of whose benefit so far has been the knowledge and insight and Skill to earn, accompanied with the financial discipline to endure and navigate most financial difficulties currently ongoing in the country and in our personal lives.
If you do check the profile from which am writing this comment however, you would see that I have been here long enough but not longer than many a persons who have grown in rank and portfolio over the time of my joining this forum, until date.

At first I won't say much because I can't literally learn all o have learnt, because is much . But one thing I've learned for sure and I am benefiting real good from is hodl . Because when I was new I this space , I didn't have much idea on how things work I'm always in a hurry to earn big , that I went into trading with some half-size knowledge and endup losing countless times.

But now I'm just  accumulating and holding, and to hold don't really require any technical knowledge, one just need to be patient while the y accumulate. Expecially in this bull run season holding just the best . Let me use this medium to say this anything you learn try as much as possible to put it to act .

Me I no go lie you, most newbies wey Dey join crypto now na the mindset wey dem Dey get be that, most of them just Dey see people Dey post am for social media say dem Dey make money, dem go wan jump into am to, but Dey no sabi say crypto no be place wey you fit easy make money, Dey believe say if dem just put money, before you know money go don double already, but no be so e be. if you wan make money for crypto, you suppose ready to learn, and put everything wey you don learn into practice.

If you even start to Dey learn how dem Dey trade, make you know say you go lose money, na why if you Dey learn how to trade for the first time, make e be say na just small money you go put, no go learn how to trade with big money, because e possible make you lose everything. As I Dey learn how to trade, na only God know how many times I lose all d money wey I Dey deposit that time.

You go read book, and as you Dey read book you go need Dey put everything in practice, no reason say you don read book so you don sabi am already, theory Dey different from practical, if you never put am into practice, I never believe say you don sabi am.

we had almost the same experience because the first time I heard about Bitcoin I was not even that interested in what was going on because i had a feeling that it was a scam because have heard stories of how people got scammed through the internet so I was already concluding that it was nothing more than a scam. little did we know that it would be one of the best experiences, and would have made a lot of money by now because we all know the value of Bitcoin.  and it was not even that popular on the internet but I heard about Bitcoin when i was in the university. and then the price of bitcoin was still down and now the value has increased and gradually become out of the reach of people because how many people have money to be able to buy one bitcoin, even if buying in fractions is good but continuously that is how bitcoin price will keep going up. even if it comes down it will still go up. when I heard about Bitcoin I didn't know much about altcoins the only altcoins I knew were ETH and BNB, and it was because of their chain. ever since I adopted the use of Bitcoin have never regretted and i even made a few awareness even on my radio routines just to give people more belief about Bitcoin because people  were having serious misconceptions about Bitcoin because even during the section a lot of people asked questions and they were able to know that bitcoin is the best thing that can happen to them. but is their choice to adopt or not.

I haven't been in the cryptocurrency world for very long, so when I heard about it, I didn't used to be concerned about it because I didn't know anything about it. I always wanted to know, but I didn't know how or where to begin. Fortunately, I was online when I came across a website that led me to this BTT forum, where I began reading, though I had trouble understanding the forum then.
Eighty percent of my knowledge about cryptocurrency came from this BTT forum. When I hear the term "cryptocurrencies," I always assume it refers to bitcoin only because I had no idea there were other types of coins(altcoins).
Before, I had the mindset of entering into crypto and doubling my money because if we were talking with my guys who always claim that they know about crypto, they would say that if they had a lot of money, they will invest in crypto so that they can have multiple returns.  But as time passed, I discovered that investing in cryptocurrencies is not as risk-free as many say because there are some coins that are worthless, but with what I have learnt here, bitcoin is the best we should invest in because it has less risk if you have the knowledge and invest wisely.

I simply brief it, if not I learned a lot about crypto, and the thing that amazes me is that I'm not in it darkness again.

Actually I have heard about cryptocurrency for some couple of years now, at first it was very strange to me More especially when I see people talking about it in the social media platform, as at then I was yet to understand about cryptocurrency, until a friend of my enlighten me about cryptocurrency. Actually it was through my friend that I gat to know about crypto investment and also how it works, and as well the strategies to take when making investment. Moreover with the help of my friend I also come to observe that bitcoin Investment is quite different from other crypto investment, like altcoins Investment and as well with that of meme Investment. Because bitcoin investment is not a get rich quick scheme it requires a lot of time and patient before you can get profited from bitcoin investment, why altcoins and meme Investment can be seen as a get rich quick scheme. he also thought me about using non custodial wallet in storing most of my assets more especially bitcoin, I also learnt about making Investment instead of trading because trading has a high level of risk and it requires enough knowledge. This are the little information I have gathered so far about cryptocurrency I'm still hoping to learn more from this forum.

You nor need to read book tire for this crypto space, one good book can change everything, with knowledge about not your key not your coin and other knowledge about wallet, privacy  and security, you are good to go.
Actually I don`t really read books just mainly threads in bitcointalk and articles online with all these i have been good to go though my most important knowledge is gotten here in BTT and through it, I can identify trusted source on crypto info online.

One thing I have learnt is that bitcoin is the best crypto for investment base on  while there are still some good altcoins for investment it is better to invest in bitcoin to avoid risks while one should never put their hope in meme coins in order to become rich though there are others who have made it through it but the risk is too high and many as lost alot from it. Though if you can get one it`s good but do not depend on it, while it`s  much more better to HODL than to trade.

for some of us that came into cryptocurrency because we just wanted to survive by any known means that was paying at the time, I learnt somany lesson from being desperate and trying somany things out which has gone a long way to build how I follow up on crypto project and overtime, I have shifted from just jumping after multiples of airdrops and project that are all hyped up to fucosing more on investing into a selected coin.

One thing I have learned is that as long as you're broke and desperate to make money by all means, you are most likely going to be the valnourable one that will end up being scammed or getting into the wrong project. To do well in crypto, you have to be as calm as possible or else you loose all your funds. Even when I did a bit of trading, I observe that whenever I'm pressured to initiate a trade for the sole purpose of getting a certain amount by all costs it doesn't always end well. I would advice that for a beginner that's not yet financial strong, maybe you should consider building your financial life outside of the crypto space first before eventually getting into crypto. It will help you focuse more on project that are really worth investing into and not put you at a spot of trying everything that's trending out and cause you to potentially loose most of your funds in the process. Of course you know you can't take away learning the basics of crypto before even putting your funds into it.

What I have learnt in the crypto world are numerous, something like having the proper mindset to navigate your way around any challenges that comes your way, we all know that we came into this crypto industry to make money legally, but their are some people that came into the crypto industry with the intention of scamming people just to make a living, and the way this crypto space is, it has thought me how to be security conscious, because if you aren't taking your security very serious, you will definitely learn at some point when you have fell into the hands of one of these scammers, so it has thought me how to be security conscious.

Secondly, I have learnt that in this crypto industry, you will only get what you deserve, wether you are a newbie or a veteran, you will only be profitable or having losses upon losses due to your knowledge or lack of knowledge, so you will only get what you deserve, so in other to survive in this industry, you have to equip yourself with knowledge and discipline so as to navigate your way easily and safe in the industry, without that, you will definitely struggle, so we will only get what we deserve, that's few of the things I have learnt in the crypto industry.

And as for how long I have been in the system, it's 3 years now, but I came into this forum last year, with a little bit of knowledge on how the system works.
