it will either confirm in a few days time (5-7 days or so)
or the funds will return to your wallet and the transaction will be purged from the mempool
in any case, you are using 1 sat/byte fee,it is way too low even when the blcockhain is not congested at all
as it has been mentioned above, use https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ to calculate your average fees

I highly doubt if you'll ever receive your bitcoins. It's so low fee, imagine recomended fee is so huge and you sent more than x100 less. Even on 250satoshi/byte fee I had to wait nearly 48 hour for six confirmation. Wait as much as you want or don't know.. You had to sent with at least 0.0001btc fee because after that you were able to add transaction on viabtc accelerator.

Use https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ to calculate the fees required for your transactions.

Otherwise low fees will only guarantee you slow confirmations or no confirmations.

You will generally have to wait longer, the less fees you pay, because people tend not to pay attention to smaller requests. As some people have already stated one satoshi per bit is really quite small, so you might have to wait a while.

It can either take a whole week to get confirmed or maybe someone can see your post and manually insert your tx in the next block. A fee of 1.002 sat/byte will usually stay way at the bottom of the "queue" to get confirmed. Mainly because Bitcoinfees.21.co is recommending a fee of at least 420 sat/byte for a high priority transaction - 420x your fee.

I would say that there is a risk of your transaction never getting confirmed. But last time I said that for someone sending a fee of 5 sat/byte, the transaction got confirmed 2 days later. So, it's really unpredictable.

Hi Ninja, what happens if it does not get confirmed? what should we do? TIA!
After a while without any confirmation, the tx will get dropped from the mempool and you will be able to spend the coins again just like you have never sent anything.

In this case, just resend the same amount with a higher fee.

1 sat/B is very, very small fee
Two days ago I sent 25 sat/B tx and it took almost 2 days to confirm.

But mempool is quite small at the moment (comparing to last few days) 20k unconfirmed txs is not so much so I think your tx could be eventually confirmed, but it will take days (3-4).
I doubt you can speed the transaction with accelerators ( due to very small fee), but if you had sent tx as replaceable you can raise to fee.

Thanks for the info, Im not in a huge rush for it, I will give it a week and see what happens.

I was moving a low amount of BTC from one wallet to another, but the fees where way, way too high (talking $8 on $30) so I moved in into 3 smaller transactions and lowered the fees as both wallets are mine and I don't intend to spent it any time soon.  But now Im wondering how long it will take as I seemed to way lowball it.
