I never made any at all. ZERO

I did go to one faucet, but it was empty Grin

I reasoned you had to have a really good anti-virus to go around to all those sites like that, and it wasn't worth the risk.

I have gained 0.06~ BTC so far. around 0.02 BTC from faucets and around .04 BTC from https://coinchat.org/ so far. I have only been working at this for a few weeks.

Seems about 1 BTC in a year is doable, but I doubt many have this patience. I dont after about 0.025 from free faucets  Sad

Primedice alone giving 0.00003 per minute solving captcha. You have to gamble it for bigger amount, but it is still 10 captchas. You made not much effort  Tongue

Pretty much nothing. Mined 0.01 with an radeon 6770 in april.
Gambled and lost, I was left with 0.0005. I've put that on an exchange and made it into 1.1 BTC  Cool

0.0005 to 1.1 is nice result. Funny the 0.0005 should be used on transaction fee when transfering to exchange  leaving you with nothing  Tongue

currently I am doing total work on these free faucets and captcha typing work both are good for me right now

Having ground out a little "faucetfoo", my experience is that it often feels like trivial work for very trivial pay, but by Jove! it's "free money" after all.

Every 1000 satoshi here or 4000 satoshi there that you grind out will eventually add up (minus transaction fees Tongue ), especially if the bitcoin exchange rate advances to something like 10k satoshi per 1 USD*.

* It doesn't sound as out of this world if you express it that way, rather than as 10k USD per 1 BTC. Smiley
There is never any need for ever paying any transaction fees unless you want to, all you need is some bigger input amount of coins(like 1+ btc) that have been resting for a while in your wallet to ballance out the dust you send with the same transaction...
But i guess you would earn better by having that 1+ btc invested in Ukyo loan or something like that than having it tied up in your wallet for days to remove a single transactions fees..lol

I did earn 4 btc from a few faucets on the net back in 2012 or a few minutes time a day for a couple of weeks before they started to reduce the gifts they gave, and on Dragon's Tale if you count that as a "Free BTC" site i have of course earned way more than 4 btc there...

I just looked at the updated list of bitcoin faucets and similar sites that payout bitcoins for entering a captcha(sp?), watching ads, etc. I remember the days when only a few sites like this existed. The payouts (when bitcoins were worth less) were something like .0005BTC/an hour on some of the sites. I tried to remember to claim my free BTC as often as possible, but I'd forget a lot.

Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone really took advantage of sites like this back when they were offering higher payouts, and if they gained a significant amount of BTC from the sites. There has to be someone...

I was requesting coins from free faucets from early 2012 and stopped early 2013. It was not uncommon to receive 0.01 daily with little effort like 30min.  I made most from dailybitcoin 1+ BTC (thank you), and coinad 0,5+ BTC (thank you), lower sums with many others. From Dragons Tale alone 2+ BTC (thank you). Total almost 5 BTC. I still holding these as Im Bitcoin collector

FREE BTC sites should be used for what they are... easing newbies into our virtual crypto currency world, and not meant to replace work, etc Smiley

Best post on this thread!   Smiley

You won't get rich from free BTC sites - they are not a substitute for regular income.

Treat them as a hobby and and enjoy yourself.  The coins should be a bonus.

0.00000075 but it took me a few hours Sad

It seems you tried the bad faucet. DailyBitcoins.org has for example 0.00001 hourly price, and submiting captcha will take you 1-2 minutes  Wink

it would take months to get that amount now from faucets Smiley

Got around 2.5BTC at the same time on different surveys for BTC sites and faucets in two weeks time.

Was a lot better than other swagbux, earn $$ sites.

Probably a few millibitcoins, mainly for fun/experimentation. I recall my first ever bitcoin was a faucet payout, from that one that only dished out one stipend (was it BTC0,005 or BTC0,0005?) per Google id.

As soon as you get whitelisted (took me 2 hours of chatting normally) you get 5000 up to 12000 satoshis per randomly chosen message. The rewards were increased significantly a few days ago. No idea how many messages it takes on average to get rewarded but its not too many. Messages need to be 30characters or more long. I hope I could help. You can also join me in the channel #scramblebot when youre on CoinChat!

once I try to coinchat and they give me status of whitelisted and suddenly I have my net problem I back after few days I was unwhitlisted again so I am not doing again this chat

You should've just contacted a moderator about that. They would've whitelisted you right away.....

but now I have only login name and not password I try to recover this but its not working now just trying again may be something happen thanks for information

Just discuss about whatever you like to in one of the big chatrooms: #lobby, #offtopic, #newbie. Really just talk about whatever you feel like!

No I didn't spam. Just participate in the chats and you'll get tipped for that. I also recieved some (mass)tips from random people. And I've won quite a few in 1 of the many gamblingrooms. Just quit gambling while you are ahead Tongue
