Is there a trick to getting 6 cards working?  The most I could get was 4 with windows 8.1 using the latest catalyst drivers for r9 280x. I also tried linux but could only get 3 working.  The other cards were never detected in either case.

having the same problem here - have you got it working?

I've seen it do 4, 5 and 6 gpus around the web...was interested in it myself.

Seems like a solid board, but for now I'd go with the z87 g45 + celeron combo. (although ethernet is a bit tricky to get working on linux)

I bought this same motherboard.   Does anyone see a reason that it wouldn't support 6 GPU's for mining (assuming powered riser cables).

Should be fine, if your intent is mining with it.
For gaming, you'd run into some bottleneck issues with the 4x PCIe.

Would it be a problem if i connect three Sapphire graphic card on red marked slots? They have all different numbers PCIex16, PCIex8 and PCIex4 Huh

I will use PCI-E Express 16X Riser Card with Flexible Cable so the space should not be an issue. I dont know if i can connect such a powerfull card on PCIe x4?? My motherboard only have 1 pcie x16  Huh

You can have 3 standard 2x height graphics cards.
The Sapphire Vapor-X is slightly taller than 2 slots, though. So you could possibly run into space issues on the bottom 2 cards.
