Inputs are a little bit heavier than output bandwidth-wise.  About how many inputs could a standard bitcoin transaction have assuming just one output?  
Around 530 inputs with compressed keys.
Around 460 inputs with uncompressed keys.

Don't take those amount seriously. Actual numbers may wary about 20 inputs.
Yeah, I knew it was under 50.  Learnt the hard way.
I edited my original post now the amounts should be nearly exact
