Bitcoin uses sha256 SHA-256d while Litecoin uses scripts scrypt, which means it is 1000 about 500-1000 times harder to mine
FTFY.

The fastest way to get an estimate of how many LTC your xkH/s will mine is simply divide your kH by the difficulty Smiley
Yes, that's definitely a remarkable property.
For the curious, here's the math: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.637835

How many LTC a day would 100Khash/s achieve?

i understand difficulty is changed every 3.5 days?

The expected generation output, at 100 KHps, given current difficulty of 10.57966646, is 9.51 LTC per day, 0.4 LTC per hour, Estimated time to find a block is 5 days 6 hours 13 minutes 14 seconds

Solo mining...now i'm interested

Say you mine for a month, make ~270LTC, then litecoin eventually rises to 0.15btc each in the future, so you then have 40.5BTC. Now say bitcoins are worth, what $13 in a few months, sell them and make a profit of $526.50

Its all luck and speculation man.

9.5x$0.06 = almost 60 cents a day?

Edit: $.05x9.5... <50 cents, almost two quarters a day....wow. Could find more in a parking lot in 30 minutes
