I'm not quitting yet. But below $5.55/BTC, I'll have to idle my miners, and buy on the market instead if I want to continue increasing my holdings.

I'll have to find my number as well. It would be goofy to run at a loss and not just buy the BTC outright. I'll keep my 5830's running though for posterity's sake.

Mining is still profitable for me, in a datacenter, though just barely. I'm mining not just for the money (bought the miners with bitcoin profits), but also for the security of the network.

However, DC space is expensive. If I lose money for two months straight I may have to consider scaling down. All depends on prices and how my people exit first.

I'm thinking of just selling a couple things this week to cover electricity costs and downgrade a bit.

Of course it doesn't help that the market is already flooded w\ used video cards Smiley

This is not just a doom&gloom troll thread.  I'm being serious.

I have a $600 electric bill at my house due in a week and am running up another as we speak.  With the current price of bitcoins, I'll barely be paying for my electric bill and suspect many others who have more expensive electricity are in the same boat.

Seen a ton of stuff in the for sale section as well as my local craigslist.

Is this the week of the miner mass exodus?
