Initially was facing issues accessing my telegram account for about few days now

Initially was facing issues accessing my telegram account for about few days now I don't know if there is any manual check up on everyone profile, after that I was able to access it back. I was concerned to raise this topic due to a friend of mine who said he's telegram account was ban entirely and when he tried to access and login back it refuses saying account is ban from using telegram.
My question is; could this be as cause of the CEO being arrested and he revealed the backend and other codes to them or doesn't it mean that telegram has been sold off. Currently was hearing telegram has been sold as well, please I don't know how authentic this information could be. Anyone who knows more about this can as well share here so that we can know what's is happening and mind how to use our TG to avoid being ban or totally restricted from having access to it.
