Can anyone who is good with statistics breakdown how advantageous leverage is mathematically?  I admit to not understanding completely how it works.  Lets say you invest 600 usd in bitcoin at a btc price of $600/btc, and you set your cutting price at $650 with 10x leverage.  If you were to perform this X times both with and without leverage, shouldn't you mathematically achieve the same gain in both cases?

I'm just curious, how many of you are gamblers and are interested in trading using leverage on the new AlcurEX exchange that's about to launch?  For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, this page explains how it'll work: http://alcurex.info/alcurex-leverage/

Basically you can create a multiplier to both multiply your gains and/or the quickness you lose your investment.  I'm new to these sort of things but I thought this was a very interesting concept since I'm a bit of a gambler, and I hypothesize a lot of the altcoin community is as well.
