I hate them.
I bought some BTC w/ paypal.
Effin' scammer never sent them.
In the paypal transaction notes, I listed what the order was for and what BTC wallet to send them to.
Still never got them.
My wallet showed ZERO transactions in all of EVAR.
Paypal could have given two shits less.
A manager flat out lied and told me that the scammer had NO complaints.
The dispute dragged on, paypal sided with the scammer.
I was told that I could try to speak with the folks that control the debit card that funds the account.
My Credit Union didn't like hearing of the scam.

I gave them the info over the phone, the following day I signed a piece of paper stating the nature of the scam.

Got my scratch back the next business day.

Paypal sent me a similar notice to the one in the OP.
They want more info...
IDGAF, paypal can suck it.

IMO, THEY SIDE WITH THE SCAMMERS TO F.U.D. BTC.

I put some on Bitmit but it has received zero attention. I was thinking about putting up a post here but I figured that wouldn't go over well considering Casascius is on this site and runs his own auctions.

Oh and get this; So a buyer who bought a coin from me at the peak price of BTC (paid me $500) buys it 4/10 I ship it 4/10 he receives a notice 4/11 that it is there. A couple days go buy BTC crashes back to earth, buyer refuses package and it gets sent to me. Buyer opens a case against me and I tell buyer that I am not returning this item because you bought high and now the value has decreased. He says to me "Good luck with that buddy, you have the item and I don't want it. Ebay buyer protection protects me." So I call ebay, escalate the case and say hey it's not my fault he bought high. Can I send this back to him or are you going to refund his money. Ebay says and I quote "Two things. One is if a buyer refuses delivery ebayer buyer protection no longer applies. Two is buyer specifically states that he doesn't want item and ebay buyer protection does not cover buyer remorse. So we are closing the case in your favor and you may decide if you want to send him the item or not but the case is closed and his payment is yours."

So great I won. Go me. But how shitty is it that they would let me keep his payment and the item he refused. I mean that's kind of shitty.

How about selling your casascius coins on other sites? eBay and Paypal are the same sh*t.

So I have been selling my Casascius Coins on ebay and today I get a notice from paypal that my account has been placed on "limited activity" until I provide proof of my business intentions, my AML policy (anti money laundering) and other such documents that I do not have and will never be able to provide. So I am stuck on hold with about $5,000 locked up until someone decides that Casascius Coins are "collectible coins" as I have stated and they are from my own personal collection and I am not acting on behalf of any company. Or until they decide that I am actually acting as a Money Service Business in which case I will be locked down until I can provide all of the required documents.

I honestly can not wait until Bitcoin is they preferred way to pay for transactions.
