There's no BTM in our area but we do have a wallet website that let's you withdraw your bitcoin from an ATM with no use of any cards (cardless transaction). Most people from our group on Facebook don't have their own bank account so they just use that service to withdraw their coins.

When it comes to depositing, 7-11 has a service in our country which allows you to exchange your fiat into BTC. The fee is really high though so some people prefer to buy from a bitcoin user instead.

If they would be near my place I would use them but from now on I'm still not using them and I think only a small group is using them.

They're currently not available anywhere near me, so I haven't gotten the chance to use one yet. But when they become a bit more wide spread, I'd even travel to use one, I'd really like to try it at least once.
I'm not sure if they're worth the investment though, for the owners.

I use btms but here you can get around the KYC stuff since they put up daily limits thinking people would not figure ways around them.
Never any one close enough to make local trades in any substantial amount.

I'm more of a online trading type of person. There aren't any BTM's in my location now but I used to live near by an BTM in the past and it doesn't get that much usage as compared to normal ATM's. Have seen a lot of BTM's been shutdown or taken off where they used to be, mainly due to the less demand as compared to initial thoughts.

i was just curious as to how many people use BTMs to exchange Bitcoin. I don't ever use any of the BTMs in my city, though I have made some cash purchases from them. do you use BTMs or do you stick to online trading?
