you don't need new software.  use nlocktime in your UTXO, it's already in the code.
and i'm not interested Smiley

This, bitcoin already has this feature available.

Still wild and free
I like the concept!
But the source code could always be tweaked to release it when really needed...
And if it's closed-source, forget.

Very un-useful idea for obvious reasons

I disagree, it could be used as some kind of cold storage or whatever.

I probably won't use it but i think it's viable.

Time Statis wallet.

your private key is deep encrypted, and can only be decrypted at a certain date and time (it checks the atomic clock in Las Vegas)

Kinda stupid what if u need them in a hurry.

I think it would be useful. You could set up a trust for a kid and give it to him/her and say "You can use it when you're 18" or 21 or whatever.

You could even go further and have a wallet that will only open if there is a specific event such as a death. Maybe 3-5 people have to sign it with a digital signature. Or maybe someday the Bitcoin protocol will keep track of medical records and will just know when we die.

Sounds like a great incentive to hack the computer(s) that connects to the atomic clock in Las Vegas.
