Media really has a big role in shaping the minds of people in these generations...
Some may have been an advantage...
But as for me they have caused more chaos rather than aid..
Especially to the government, bias media can bring down a government administration.

There are negative and positive with how the media influence the today's generation. Media may sometimes give this generation the wrong information but they also helped this generation to be aware of whats going on with the world.

The shaping of the generation by media is in different forms, some positive and others negative.

On the one hand, it has led to immorality, corruption etc. It has also introduced the emergence of quick & very fast information dissemination.

It has brought a whole lot of new culture .

You are right in what comes to the news but this topic was more about the cultural impact.

If "the media" is to blame, they did a horrible job if they wanted to exert influence in modern times.

Look at today, most people (especially the "young" under 30 crowd) don't get their news from the same, monolithic sources as older generations did. With the internet, a person has a limitless supply of news sources. Of course, that is also a HUGE negative on its own, but it is proof that "the media" isn't controlling much, if anything, in 2017.

Media controlled by the mortally bankrupt. The level of dishonesty is shocking and scary.
