It's very simple, if you bought one Bitcoins at $ 100. now $ 4500 is your bitcoins and is still higher. that's because I depend on how much you've bought the bitcoins before. If you previously bought the bitcoins of $ 200 each. That means you bought half a bitcoins. And your interest now is at $ 2000 but that's simple. The past is really good. But we can not get it back. if we can only read the future we are definitely rich today

Where is my ring of blades...
IMO, time is extremely expensive in crypto world. Entering crypto world one year later and that is the opportunity cost. Let’s see Bitcoin price in one year time, maybe we are seeing the news reporting a similar situation for example $5000 Bitcoin in 2017 and $20,000 Bitcoin in 2018.

not until mass adoption it is not.
you could have said the exact same thing all the past 8 or 9 years and be wrong the same way you are wrong today. obviously the sooner you join in, the more you benefit and the longer you benefit but it is not yet late until bitcoin reaches the mass adoption stage. 1 satoshi is not even a valid value in fiat yet so you can be sure you have a lot of time. the same way back when price was $200 in 2015 or $500 in 2016 or $2000 in 2017 or $6000 in 2018 none are late.
but when you saw everyone in the streets know about bitcoin, and price is so high that you can talk about 1 satoshi and give a real value in fiat then it is late.

it will take a serious calculation to point in to your question, if you invest 100$ which last year september 2016 which about 570$ - 600$ and now Sept 2017 about 4200$ it is roughly 700% increase on your investment, this just an simple calculation how your investment grow over a year. But right now it may vary. Jsut always remember 50% to 100% increase is good above that is better.

Bitcoin price managed to rise above the $5,000 mark in trading today, fulfilling the expectations and predictions of a number of Bitcoin faithful. However, it has also led to widespread concerns that a bubble is forming that will eventually crater the portfolios of many investors.

The massive rise is difficult to grasp, without considering what the value of what an investment would be had it been purchased last year.

Consider an average investor who purchased $100 of Bitcoin in September 2016 when Bitcoin was selling for $572. Had they managed to hold the currency through all the ups and downs of the last year, they would be sitting on $850 with today’s $5,000 price point.

I have never calculated that how many I have earned with bitcoin till date. I think from 100 dollars it will reach to 500 in one year. May be I told it approximately and am not sure about it. it needs serious calculations and keeping records of the daily price of bitcoin.

And is is very difficult job. I just look at the old price in 2009 and the price o today, which is I think more than 4500 US dollars.
