Sixteen million out of twenty one million in theoretical supply, that has not yet been mined. This number doesn't indicate the amount of coins that have been dropped or created in the genesis block, which usually cannot be used. I maybe wrong, i just the did the simple googling.

Hard to know exact number but by me, for sure are lost around 250 000 BTC.
This is big number compared to total mined.

Well the Bitcoin and wallet themselves are not anonymous you certainly right about it not being linked to anyone unless you sign it and even then it's only to an online alias. Plus you can a mixer if you don't want to your wallet so piblic.

As i can remember on what i haved read 21 million every 10 minutes . So far. So much btc has been spread through the whole world.
