I won't be affected until it reaches $1000, as I am still fine with my BTC0.1 bets that I can easily place without any fear.
I know that $1000 is not too far, but I still make those high bets because I win mostly and want to collect coins as much as I can until price spikes and will sell them all at once.

There is a lot of people like you out there indeed but I believe most people just adjusting the bet amount rather than keepgambling with same value of bitcoin.
I guess your statement will be applicable only to high rollers. But for me, I always prefer to risk less then 0.001 and I am keep on gambling with that amount regardless of the recent bitcoin's high price levels. I just count my profits in terms of satoshi and not in quivalent dollar values.
yeaaa actually small amount bitcoin won't get affected by this surprising rocketed price of bitcoin.
if you bet 0.001 bicoin usually , you can keep doing it as not much value you stake.
it is just different story with the big amount bet, people will feel so regretful when they realize staking money 2 times value than usual when the price not as high as when up in highest position.

My bets dont change even in the current price of bitcoins right now from 0.01btc amount to 0.1 still the same also on trading .I will only change my betting amount if bitcoin price reach $1000 .From now i don't mind its value so it doesn't affects my betting and gambking amount to spend . It is much better to adjust the calculations on fiat but for me its a hassle especially when my internet connection is slow .

i was wondering how much do you change the size of your bets and for example your bankroll now that bitcoin price has gone up to ~$900?

i am usually getting more cautious about each bet and make smaller bets when price goes up just to match the price with the risk i take.
I don't ever think about the bitcoin price i don't either think that im going to lose i usually bet approximately 0.01 bitcoin weekly if i lose i never tried to deposit again trying to doubled my bankroll is best if you make profit already withdraw initial deposit. Try to save atleast of your profit then.

Yeah, it is effecting on our betting, when we play with bitcoin. I also change my routine of bitcoin gambling, when price increase or decrease, because usually i play gambling with bitcoin, No doubt, bitcoin price change our betting, but instead of it, price doesn't change our winning or loss.

The price variation haven't made a big impact upon the gambling strategies as well upon the betting amount. In my view the same betting amount placed before the increase is still used for betting. The better thing observed is the betting is risky when the amount is increased without proper research.
I personally changes my betting according to the increase or decrease of the price of bitcoin, actually I have fixed a limit for playing gambling in my fiat and when I reached to that limit I stop playing gambling any more, therefore it does impact my gambling activity significantly. First I do but bitcoins with my fiat basically.

For recreational betting 0.001BTC=$1 would be a nice starting point but most of the gambling websites require 0.001BTC minimum bets so if the Bitcoin price goes past that $1000 threshold I may try some alt coin betting instead. I prefer betting in dollar units rather than Bitcoin units.
If bitcoin price would rise its value those gambling sites would definitely adjust the minimum bets because if they would stick on the minimum bet for sure some players would not tend to play anymore because value is increasing and some dont want to risk too much amount on a single bet. They would probably adjust amount so that people could able to play.

i was wondering how much do you change the size of your bets and for example your bankroll now that bitcoin price has gone up to ~$900?

i am usually getting more cautious about each bet and make smaller bets when price goes up just to match the price with the risk i take.

Well, the price of bitcoin shouldn't matter if a sound bankroll strategy is being applied.  If the size of the wager is proportionately related to the size of the the bankroll, then it will all even out in the long run.  I play poker and I usually don't put more than 10% of my bankroll in play in a single session....Bankroll management is the key here; there are several schemes--depending on the game.
i guess it will just be a different story if you see bitcoin price up almost 100%.

let's make things more clear here, for example if you usually bet 1 bitcoin in a week worth $450 but then the price of bitcoin go up to $900 per 1 bitcoin , then what will you do with your bankroll management? keep gamble 10% ? $45 to $90 ? i don't think so. people will look at dollar in the end.

Yes.  I keep it at a solid 10 percent.  If I have more, I play with more, but I never put more than 10 percent of my bankroll in play at once to offset the bad streaks of variance.  If I had $450, I'd play with $45, and if I had $900, I'd play with $90.  It doesn't matter whether I win on the markets, or win on the tables....it's the same.  And, I've watched my bitcoin investment grow by almost 400% the past year or so on the markets....it don't change anything....10 percent always.  If I started the day playing with $90 (10% of 900) today and ended up winning $9,190, then tomorrow I'd start with $1000 (10% of 10,000).  It don't matter.

I don't really change it. When I bet with bitcoins, my bankroll is set with bitcoins, so everything stays the same, either they rise or they drop.
It will only affect my winnings when I convert them to fiat, but that is something completely different, and I don't think about it when I gamble, since it's something I can't control.

It do not affect my betting because I calculate my money for bets and do not exceed my betting money from a limit which I have kept in front of me for to gamble. The price increase of bitcoin is not a thing to affect in negative but it brings happiness and no one will condemn it.

It don't.  I bet diaper money all tha time, but I don't use bitcoin.  I slap down all my dice bets in dogecoin.  An' I tell ya, the price don' flip-flop nowheres near as much as the bitcoin do.  But that wouldn't matter anyway, cuz you jist adjust whatchu slappin' down.  Any fool kin do that maff.
Honestly it is good to gamble with dogecoin because the price of dogecoin is cheap unlike bitcoin that it getting increases every month or yearly..
Since dogecoin is in stable price so i think it is one of the good if you dont want to affect your gamble plays because of the price increases..

The price which I have kept already in the sites for gambling are not affected as these are already assigned for to gamble while for further bettings I look at the value that how much my money will be in bitcoin and I bet according to that value I get in bitcoins for a specific amount of money.

you're truely the real gambler because bitcoin price movement doesn't any effect for your bets even if you want to starting gambling and were buying bitcoin using fiat or dollar it will be very influential because buying bitcoin price with the current price quite expensive and if we compare the price from several months it is almost double
but to me i think it effect my gambling bets, when the price of bitcoin goes high and bitcoin value increase then i reduce my bet in gambling as i first compare the bet in with my fiat currency and only then i put my bet.

No It Doesn't Affect My Bets Because I Mainly Doing Gambling For Fun and Not For Money Making, So I always Gamble with small amounts and Never Try to Make Monet in Gambling.
I Also Suggest to all that Gambling is a Shit Activity I'm which you can't win For Long Term.
When you are a gambler and your main intention is just to gamble at all, the price movement will not affect you that much, with the heart of a gambler you are willing to take risks and using bitcoin in gambling is making a risks double which is what we are doing now. But there are smart gamblers as well, who automatically convert their bitcoins into fiat right after every session, so the price movement does not affect them much.

Before i just gamble and always watching the price fo bitcoin before gamble because for the continues growth and price increase from last year and today there is large price increase if you compare from before that actually the price last year is double right now.. so before i gamble i am thinking what is the good amount to bet and the price of bitcoin..that can affect or your gamble strategy..
To compare to last year now it's almost double price. I think last year it was 450+$ now it's crossed 900$. So we have to think before placing our bets.  If you bet just 0.01 BTC, your returns are also double, and your loss also double. So I will not play huge amount, I will play with fix amount if I win my bet also I will not change my betting amount. Sometimes if odds is a favor for me I will increase my betting amount. The BTC price increase is little bit effect for my betting.

Actually it doesnt affect my bets. My bets are not depending on whats the btc price is. My minimum bet is still .01btc and i wont change that even if the price is in 4digits.

Ahahah, that's something that suffice it extraordinary. I see no reason someone like your thoughts and desires, but indeed I see that if you were not affected at the price of btc for sure you have earnings in the btc that makes you not worry as prices btc. And also a bet that you did that already included small enough for you that I see are already professionals in gambling. So, if you deign to get I get a little science in gambling ..??

I think if you are just betting small bets it can affect your gambling betting style or changing the amount of your bet for me it can be the same result if you are betting high or low.. maybe in the others that actually they are want to increase their earnings or profit or they are want to their small amount of bet can win big amount..  they are worrying for the price of bitcoin that is why they are always relaying in the price of bitcoin before they will bet..

It has really affected me as I always bet 1% to 2% of my bankroll so even with the price of Bitcoin going up I haven't made any changes to my betting strategy or the way I bet. I may rethink my strategy if BTC goes over 1k but for now I'm happy doing what I already do.

Since I'm not gambler hardcore , it doesn't affect me at all. But if bitcoin value increase 10 times from current value, I'm usually will decrease my bankroll about 20% as it become valuable so I can't waste it too much
I often do not change my bet amounts but I try to bet less, it is like I bet on sports and I do not make silly bets like parlay and all when the price of bitcoins is high. When the price is low I often make parlays with 0.01 bitcoin and 100-200 odds and hence making sure I don't loose much when the price is high.
yes that is a fact, i also change the price of bitcoin when the price of bitcoin goes up, i then change my bit according to the recondition reality. otherwise i never need to change the price of bitccoin.

It is not affecting my betting bankroll as i have first off all set my bankroll and just playing according to it, that is why i dont have any problem in price fluctuations. as 50% of my earning i am converting it to fiat currency and 25% is their in investment and that investment selling price is above $1000 which i think i will be doing it in next year.

to be honest it mainly depends on how much bitcoin i am earning.
for example if i am earning 1BTC then i will be betting 0.1BTC and be happy about it but if my amount of earning goes down to 0.1BTC then what i bet will also go down to 0.01BTC because i keep betting the same amount i can no longer afford it.
(all these number are hypothetical though just to make a point!)
For sure you are just playing to have some fun because you are just making sure that you are just consuming the money that you are willing to give up so meaning to say you are not care what ever the value of bitcoin in your currency? Me, might consume .01 btc for the whole week just to enjoy the game.
Someone might even gamble whole month or year with 0.01 or even 0.001 bitcoins that totally depends on them and actually such low risk or non-professional gamblers are never affected by the price rise or fall.
Usually I do not change my bets at all when the price changes but if its around 900$ like now then I alter my bets a bit.

well truth is i seldom use my bitcoins now to make bets or to gamble in general. ever since the rise of bitcoin's price, I'm thinking more on saving the btc's I've earned for future use while hoping that btc would sustain it's rise. sometimes, i gamble with a few extra satoshis on dice but that's about it. i think I'm now being more responsible with the money that i hold Cheesy

This might seem strange but I don't change the size of a minimum bet if the price of Bitcoin goes up. Maybe that is so because my bets are small in general and when I make a bet I really don't care whether it is $0.01 or $0.013. I know that that is a wrong approach though. One bet is nothing, but after 500 bets you'll see the difference. And still I must confess that I valued 1k satoshis when Bitcoin was $250 as much as value 1k sats now.

Bitcoin price does not affect my bet unless it is rises to a ridiculous level. I don't care about the price of bitcoin in usd term. I only look at the price of everything in cryptocurrency in bitcoin terms so my bet remains the same as I have already accumulated some bitcoins.
that was a smart move ,
i think the same as you , did not consider gamble in usd if you use bitcoin!
just keep gambling with the same amount in bitcoin ,
and see the result when you convert it into cash.

well if you buy bitcoin with fiat like USD,... then gamble with bitcoin you will eventually start thinking more about the USD value of bitcoin too because you are in fact losing money in gambling not only bitcoin.

You are right ! Bitcoin has its own value. How many bitcoin you have in your wallet it corresponds to a real money value you looses money and you earn money but the thing is it is very easy accessble your money if you gambles unlike in real life. Take care of your money if you play gambling games and control your emotion

My bet size would really depend on the bitcoins price because i usually make equivalent to the dollar rate itself. It does really affect betting size because of bitcoins price movement. It does depend on the gambler but i dont think this thing does really affect too much since we could able to adjust anytime regarding on our bet size.
yeah just simply adjust the bet amount if you used fiat rate, not much affected. it makes casino owner have a bigger bankroll in USD (if they hold a lot of bitcoin before) , and just be a problem for those casino who run out of bitcoin and have to buy it in higher price now. everything has a risk actually , but if you know what to do , you can take advantage on this situation.

Yes bitcoin price increase affects the amount of my bets. If I lose it will increase the number of my loss if calculated with the money. But it does not I think because I still have a bet management so I spend bitcoin will not be too big. And maybe I'll be more selective in choosing the game, I select the game of victory greater potential that still profit. The price increase could also profit if it wins, because it is definitely a win will earn bitcoin by a larger amount if calculated with the money.

since i am only making very small bets then no it doesn't affect my bets at all because i will continue making the smallest amount of bet that is possible to also lose the smallest amount too. for example i use 1-100 satoshi bets whenever i am playing dice and this way i am minimizing my loss.

Bitcoin price does not affect my bet unless it is rises to a ridiculous level. I don't care about the price of bitcoin in usd term. I only look at the price of everything in cryptocurrency in bitcoin terms so my bet remains the same as I have already accumulated some bitcoins.

I place minimal bets on sport games. Now that minimal bets in bitcoins worth a bit more in euros then before.
That is positive effect I believe for all of us who gamble with bitcoins.

Its affected my bet, because when i gamble i usually calculate in fiat and i usually limit my bet per day around 20$, so when the price is change my bankroll limit also affected, when the price is up I decrease my bet but when the price is down I don't increase my bet, because I know bitcoin price won't go down for a long time

I always do the same thing, consider how much in fiat to spend as bitcoin price increases.
Gambling management, use only $5-$10 every time I'm going into, small amount I can deal with and stop if it gone.
this is much better keep your self into its limit as btc really booming and gambling activity can be much expensive when you converted certain amount of your previous bets for btc, i'm doing the same way mate i wanted to make sure that i always limit myself with the amount that i can really afford to lose with no addition in fiat.

Bitcoin price doesn't matter as I always convert value of BTC to FIAT in my mind. Of course when BTC price is high I won't play with my usual stakes.
I will limit my weekly bankroll to 0.025 from 0.04 - no big deal.

Massive price drop coming...
i was wondering how much do you change the size of your bets and for example your bankroll now that bitcoin price has gone up to ~$900?

i am usually getting more cautious about each bet and make smaller bets when price goes up just to match the price with the risk i take.

It does not affect my bet.  I do not know but I am betting with only BTC in mind.  No equivalent value even cross to my mind.  If was betting at 0.005 BTC I still bet with that amount.  I think I already secluded btc activities from currency when it comes to using Bitcoin in gambling games.
Well for i am still relaying in the price of bitcoin.. but for fix value i mean if i am betting amount of $5 in a single bet in bitcoin according to preev price is 0.005629 so i will make it fix as 0.006 as my bet.. or exact 0.005 btc..
There is no effect of the price increase but for it is better to check your price  of bitcoin..

It dont really affect my bets because i just gamble my bitcoins from free rolls and faucets. It is a small amount, but im having fun gambling with it because i get it free and its ok if i lose, im just spending time with it. Though i still get addicted to gambling and ended up losing my faucet bitcoins. It may be free but it is really dissapointing.

not affecting

no matter the price, the amount of BTC is always the same

This a mindset from bitcoin gambler. But people have their view themselves, considering the amount use USD for manage income/outcome is also good idea(to make it come easier).

Personally I'm not really considering how much USD, means the price not affect, because basically I used my btc for gamble come from what I've earned, not buy directly, and I do gamble sometimes, so I can still manage (using btc).

Not affecting either. I just make bets on a dollar value, so even if the bitcoin price goes up by bankroll increases, but my bet size remains the same dollar value.

I dont change my bet amounts yet. But this increase affected my main target for each sessions. Usually, I will save my profit whenever I got 2 millions satoshi profit, but now, a million satoshi will be enough.

i think its not affect with my bets because i only use 0.001 btc - 0.005 btc but i am not check it in fiat, i only send it into my deposit and just playing the games. i think the bets is follow to increase while the price of bitcoin is in high price.
to me i mostly play gambling with bitcoins that i earn in trading, the price of bitcoin really effects my bets, when the price goes high i play with little bit but when the price fell down then i play with high bet to equal the value.

I don't usually take into consideration the price of bitcoin when putting my bet, I just do my normal betting whatever the price is so not to distract me on my strategy on gambling anyway at the end of the day the important thing is to win your bet.

I'm fine with that. I can set the bet amount to a lower price and have the same profit I had before with a higher bet.

In the future, we will bet few satoshis pricing some cents of dollar, when the BTC price increases more, the bankroll will last for more time, as we won't need to start betting so high to have profit. Martingale strategy can work longer.  Cheesy

Im doing the same mate i dont want to over spend my capital so im calculating the price that i usually bet when the price of btc is not that huge it hard to take a risk since we are using real money and we are playing gamble for sparing some time so be careful and always count the numbers mate.

It's affected my betting strategy a little bit. I always bet around 2-3% of my total gambling bankroll per play, so now that 3% has gotten a lot bigger so I'm betting bigger. I feel a little strange betting this amount each time now, but it's still 3% of my bankroll, so i guess I shouldn't change anything.

when prices rise bitcoin, I hesitate to bet large amounts. an increase in the price of bitcoin made me become confused in the betting. I think, when the bitcoin prices rise, the risk that I get in betting in a gambling game also increases. it could have a negative effect on my income.

I'd guess the actual run of the price makes many people think about that!
Imagine a person who like to bet numbers like 0,1 BTC. At the actual rate this is 89$. A few days earlier this amount was worth $70-$75.
This is a lot of money especially when you bet on more than just one game.
I always convert back in my local currency so that I know how much money I may lose when everything is against me.
And I think many others do so as well and are adjusting too when Bitcoin increaes or decreases in value.

no matter the price, the amount of BTC is always the same

Its same with me, I gamble with bitcoins and I calculate my bets based on that. I still play same poker tables like before, just this tables nows worth more.
Same is with other games, I have my strategies in bitcoins so I don't plan to change that, this increase just means that my bets are higher in dollars and with my gambling I can spent or win more.

With the price going up I still use the same amount(units) when I place my bet on sports because a unit for me is like 0.01 btc. I might reduce my units  in the near future if the price becomes stable at $1000. For dice and slots i'll always go small since I don't have any luck on those.

Well, it can indeed be a problem for some people who are not yet able to use gambling with the right or benefit in it. Indeed it is a good thing, but it's not something a problem for those who can indeed benefit in gambling or it's not a problem for rich people. Indeed better if we can't get something better for a profitable exit from gambling than gain loss.We can indeed benefit in it. But if we can benefit if doing gambling all the time?. and try the calculated overall from the first play until now, whether it's the results we calculate the benefit or even detrimental?
