I think you have roughly 10% of what you would want to become a millionaire "soon". Not sure many are wanting/needing to be as open as you are about your holdings mate. I have over 50 and under 100 but it is increasing slowly but surly.

120 btc in my opinion is enought,be careful with them.

I think he is about 3400 bitcoins short of being a millionaire ... and by the time he accumulates that amount inflation has taken it's course and he would require a bit more than 3400 bitcoins ... or possibly less who knows

side note: My calculations 1,000,000/(today prices 285) = 3500 or so give and take ... and he has 120 so lets just round that to 3400 bitcoins ....

There is nothing wrong with missing out on a 1 year long bear market... Pile up now and your cost average base is better than 70% of the users.

My long-term scenario is a potential market cap for all crypto-currencies of $200-300 billion.

The estimation is based on three main market opportunities of CC's:

- Remittances and other small international transactions
- e-Commerce
- Saving opportunity, mainly in unstable countries, although I think many of the estimations here (e.g. Bitcoin replacing gold) are too optimistic.

Now, there is a big question: Will Bitcoin stay with its de facto monopoly for the time until $10.000 per coin is reached?

I have doubts because Bitcoin in my opinion has technical flaws like the high energy consumption, and there are altcoins solving this problem (e.g. Nxt, Peercoin, Slimcoin and other PoS and PoB coins) . But if it really reaches $10.000, If I were you, I would sell a large part of my BTC holdings.

Maybe you can't survive with 400€ in amsterdam but there are many countries that you can survive as a family with that amount of moeny.

10k price is quite realistic long term IMO.  so if you have 120 BTC you'll be a millionaire at that time.

well i've already my house, i don't need to pay for the rent, i'm only paying like 200 for foods and supplements in one month, and the rest for bills and some personal stuff like clothes if i need some and products for personal care

and some time i buy a game on steam, i don't need anything else

The day will almost assuredly come when bitcoin hits 100K+. Anyone who has 100 bTC's or higher will be quite, quite wealthy.

However. This could take another 2-4 years. It  will happen eventually, though. In the meantime, we will probably see smaller rallies into the 5-10k area, which will most likely happen next year. Don't be a scrub and sell out.

Well, I am spending like 350-400€ monthly in Spain so I would also survive with 5000€ per year.
Now I have just a few btc but my target is 21Btc in the future. I hink it is a nice number in Bitcoin world.
Obviously when i'll have 21 bitcoins I will want to have more.

And I think in a few years you and I will mi millionarie in dollars but that doesn't matter.

I'm comfortable with €2000 per month in Amsterdam. You will not survive with €400 here.

However excited you might be of the fluctuations and the spike, it will go down like it always does because neither is bitcoin nor are these countries ready to actually experience a legit digital currency lifestyle completely. People are still attached to banks and still trust them, it will take time for the eyes to open, then bitcoin mass adoption will happen and only then such a huge and constant spike can take place which results in this guy being a millionaire.

it depend at what you are aiming for, you will consider yourself a millionaire with 1M only? is 1M enough for you to retire?

if the answer is yes, than 120 x 10k price each, are more than enough otherwise you can wait for 10k-100k range in price, if you need to buy yacht and plenty of bitches each day

I mined and bought BTC from the beginning, sitted, waited and sold mostly all at the Hype of the end of 2013. (But I've never spended BTCs for a Pizza!  )
I bought some (much more than your wallet) fresh coins some weeks ago at 204€/BTC and sold them today at 260. Well, Im not greedy (anymore).   Usual I trade in pairs and tripples ($,€,BTC) with BOTs, because I'm too lazy to use my fingers except for girls or playing with the cigarette-lighter in my old Thunderbird V8 with about 0,21 Million miles. This T-Bird and a Jaguar XJS12 I payed during my second midlifecrysis from winnings out of stocktrades. Perhaps I could need some more money to fuel them up (fuel is very expensive in Germany), but therefore I dont need million bugs and I cant drive two cars at the same time without an Avatar. So what do I really need in future? *thinking* A real platin Mastercard (no prepaid crap) could be nice to buy a private island in Greece. (Very cheap atm and a lot of Sun - my California T-Bird would love it.)   I could need an english-teacher, because I'm not a native speaker ... but sorry, I'm too lazy to use google translator.

Bitcoin would have to hit 10000 a coin for you to have a million and will that happen soon.
Unlikely no one knows how the government's will fully react and what laws they will place or if taxes will be raised on bitcoin to fiat bank transfers.

Depends if you're going to sell any before your stash is worth $1million! Most sane people would rebalance as bitcoin goes up, in which case you'd need a lot more coins to be a millionaire any time soon.

Define "soon"?   This side of 2020 you need a lot more coins.

it will be enough. but why would you want to be a dollar millionaire anyway. money will losse it's importance (at least on a personal level) in an advancing society.
