It was bad incident of hack of Bitfinex which made situation worst and there panic sell happened after this, you'll see that nobody was expecting the price will fall down like this, even price was going down before this hack but it was very stable above $600.

Well, Bitfinex went down several times before they completely shut down their exchange for days as happened right now. If an exchange goes down once, then ok, perhaps they had some maintenance to do. But it happened several times, and each time it happened, the price dropped as other exchanges were dumping as result. That should have raised a red flag. At least right now people know what to do when such things happens to an exchange again.

I think you should read more threads before the Bitfinex hacking, and those people are saying bitcoin has started to going down, and also in this thread he is asking that bitcoins has been started to going drop. And we are talking about bitcoin's price downing, and it is happened.
Bitfinex hacked it is really surprised to everyone, but bitcoin is down as we are talking about it.

Excuse me for sticking my newbie nose in here, but Halving is a current Bitcoin event that should lead to higher Bitcoin prices in the longer run, in spite of any short run price drops.
BTC Miners can artificially raise the btc price, simply by withholding coin.
Don't you wish China would legalize Bitcoin, WHen China was interested in BTC a couple of years back, coin went up to 1300USD. Since Japan has accepted Bitcoin as currency, China has become interested in it again.
I would bet that in the next year more countries sign on with Bitcoin because in a capitalist market, where money is king, Bitcoin offers every merchant from 7-11 to Sears an "Escape" from Credit and Debit card fees. Wow, has anybody noticed that Bitcoin is a currency/commodity unlike The Dollar Bill. You have to "buy" the currency, so the buyer pays the majority of the fees associated with Bitcoin purchase and exchange, not the merchant.

Bitcoin has in fact dropped to 630 at the time of this writing, I am curious how you determined that it was going to fall to that particular number?

Why would there be a drop of $19 this weekend specifically? This is something I've been confused about; as to why the price is supposed to be and seemingly destined to drop over the next two days. If there is a drop though I expect that there'll be a fair amount of money being re-invested, and so I don't think that it'll stay low for very long.

Yeah, i also heard about it, so let see what the new price of bitcoin will come. But i think bitcoin will down $450 too $600. I'll have to wait and see, I'm not convinced that there is a noticeable drop coming up and I don't think that this weekend is going to be the one where it shows up. Unless there's something that most of us don't know related to the markets and everything is on the verge of collapsing for some reason unbeknownst to the majority, I expect very little to happen later this week. If anything I would think that there's more potential for a bull run rather than a bear run, and that's hugely unlikely. Something just has to show and and something has to change first before the market will move.

Well price has been dropping to something like $645 every night here in the US,
and then goes back up to $655 the next morning.

A drop of $10 or $15 isn't really much.
Most people are saying that unless it goes about $50 in either direction that prices will be pretty stagnant for a while.
