Maybe it's a little strange, but I had never had any problems with default gas limit and gas price even during ICO.

This is perhaps a dumb question but I am wondering, how much ether gas is required for a token transaction? I am wondering in relation with all the e coins. I am assuming they would need a certain amount of ether to conduct all these airdrops.
Most of the time it requires 21000 gas, then I also noticed that sometimes it depend on the contract of the coin it requires 100k or more something like that mate.
if you send eth with gas 21000 is success but if you send other token with gas 21000 it failed.ussually i use gas 150000
it different if i send the token who low price i put 81000 for gas

As I think it depends from the token to the token. Some tokens are really high gas right after they are released and they return to their original level afterwards. I think you can safely ask an airdrop center about it.

Ether transaction speed is combination of gas amount AND gas price.

If you want cheap transactions, you will need to wait for confirmation. 21-50K gas is fine. But your transaction could stuck for hours.
If you want fast transactions within minutes, this will cost you $$. 100-200K gas and even higher gas price.

tx fee is comprised of gas limit and gas price. https://www.cryptocompare.com/coins/guides/what-is-the-gas-in-ethereum/

As for me, when I want to deposit my tokens to EtherDelta I used to set 200 000 gas limit and 12 gwei. I costs about 0.8$ and transactions usually complete in 1-2 minutes, so it's quite cheep and fast. But it also depends from the network load when you make transaction.

As far as I understand, the more gas you put, the faster the deal takes place. But do not put less than 21000, your transaction will often be canceled and the commission is charged.

Honestly, I just stick to the recommended amount as specified in MyEtherWallet. It is always shown there for the type of transaction you make and since I'm not too keen on waiting for transactions to confirm, I just allow the wallet to calculate and click send. I've never faced any problems before. At the moment, the fees don't equal to too much but if it ever becomes as valuable as Bitcoin, I guess we will all start to complain and fight for fees like with BTC now!

Yes I also did that also. I just let the mew compute the gas for me like I use what's the default gas. For me the confirmation time is just right like it didn't bother me at all. But OP if you really want to make it fast just set the gwei higher than the default price.

ussually i use 150.000 untill 200.000 to fee in transactions its make transaction faster and always be success, it minimize fail send the token to market and its always worth
I think that 150k - 200k range already included in the reliable fees, so many people are suggesting it right now and that makes the transaction goes smoothly.  But it's really cheap in my opinion.

"Gas is the metering unit for use of the World Computer. As an analogy, electricity is metered by kilowatt hours. Using more computation and storage in Ethereum means that more gas is used. One fundamental reason for metering is that it provides an incentive for people (miners) to operate the World Computer. These miners get a fee for processing transactions, which is determined by the metering scheme: gas."

During ICO I'm always use 400000 gas limit with default gas price. It's very rarely occurs that actually transaction fee is more than 200000. This all depends on congestion in the ethereum network.

Etherem Gas is used for paying all transactions of trades. The price of Ethereum Gas is 8 GWEI while in price of Ethereum Fee is based on the token you have. It is also help to speed up the transactions of trades.

I use 50 Gwei to make airdrop transactions in Etherdelta. This value or higher values enough for the sell in dump. But if you have time you can use lower values to reduce the price.
it is too high, you will spend a lot of ETH if using 50 Gwei
usually I use 10 Gwei to speed up transactions, and the way it works Smiley

I think that's too high for every transaction you'll be made.
As for me I'm just using 15gwei and it's quite reasonable for me, it's not that too slow and not that fast, just right for me.
Like it just takes 5 minutes for a transaction gets confirmed.

according to what you are questioning, I will reply that every transaction is definitely in need of funds for shipping and gas, if I think if not wrong you have to use 25000 gas or more than that ..
