if BTCUSD decreases, its likely the hashrate will also but that the SP3x will remain profitable anyways. If BTCUSD increases hashrate may skyrocket, but the miner will also increase drastically in value as power cost becomes negligible (once again)

I have a perfect working sp30 and I am thinking about selling it along with 10 s3 rigs and a 900ghs rockminer. little undecided hence why I was posing the question of value.
These units are selling on eBay for a minimum of 1500-1600 bucks. I would buy 10 sp30's right now for a grand a piece.
$1000 USD sounds like a solid going rate for an SP30. Although, with some people worried about a difficulty upswing (from next-gen miners that should be coming out any day now) you might see less demand at that price.
