There is no import duty just VAT @ 20%

You might want to check the Cointerra thread here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.3642026 before you spend any money, they haven't launched a product yet and are a few months behind schedule apparently.

biffa.. they're say they're not behind schedule... their dec orders will deliver in late dec and their jan, feb and march orders will deliver in those months.   there are some other groups who are running late, but as of right now, cointerra isn't one of them.  we will see if they can keep it up...

you may have confused cointerra with blackarrow... the link you provided goes to blackarrow

No I meant cointerra, pasted the wrong link apologies. Shocked

As for Cointerra, Hashfast, blackarrow or whoever, no-one except bitfury and KnC have delivered 400+Gh/s miners at all yet, I hope someone else does soon, I just worry about the lack of information coming out of the latest companies offering hardware.

There is no import duty for computers or computer parts into the UK, you may however pay a handling fee to whoever sends it. Also if you go and pick it up you still may have to pay VAT when you try and get it through customs.

How much of import duty to UK would it be if bought
TerraMiner IV – 2TH/s, Networked ASIC Miner (March Batch) $5,999

i live in the uk though I've chosen to host my cointerra and hashfast boxes in the usa.

you will definitely pay vat but probably be able to claim it back if you're vat registered.

and duty you may well pay around 4-5%... but sometimes it gets rolled up into the vat and you don't pay any extra.

depends on how you ship it... as well.

have you figured out where you're going to host it?

Butterfly labs 1 jala cost me 274USD and 44 GBP import duty and parcelforce handling fee
Also BFL two jalapenos 548 USD + 80 GBP import duty fees and handling.
Then rest BFL declared as 1 item and had to pay 40 GBP for 8 jalas...
God bless you, BFL, and God bless 'Murica!
Guess I'd have to fly to freakin' Texas to save up my money on bloody taxes...
eeehaaa, cowboys 'n' guns, beef jerky, alrighty

But then I am thinking how many kilos is one cointerra rig and exact dimensions?

What's supposed to happen is the person exporting to you should refund their local taxes back to you.

TerraMiner IV – 2TH/s, Networked ASIC Miner (March Batch) × 2 $12,987.84
12987.84 US Dollar equals 8059.47 British Pound Sterling + taxes 25% extra 2014 GBP...
For that money I can fly to US & A, spend some quality time with machine guns in the desert and see new people, and even get some change after all that Smiley
