I've got the same experience as the Guy above me except only ten years exp. I'd ask 20 an hour or a down payment of 1000 dollars, your choice

I've worked with BASIC, Pascal, C, C++, Java, Javascript, HTML, PHP, CSS, Bash, Ksh, AWK, SED, MySQL, Oracle, Informix, MS DOS, Windows, SCO Unix, Apple OSX, and various forms of Linux. I've got a good understanding of Bitcoin, and I can adapt and pickup new skills quickly if you need.
I could probably offer 10 hours of development per week on a project that will take less than 60 hours total.
I'd be wanting $250 per hour or the equivalent in Bitcoin.
I suspect you'll find other programmers that will help you for less. My time is valuable to me, and I've already got a full-time job that I can live off of, so I'd need the incentive to put in the effort.

Hi,
I'm building a project, and would like to hire a bitcoin developer
to integrate into my service -
I can use bitcoind via rpc/json just fine - but am unhappy with
the wallet system that it comes with.
Basically, I need to hire someone who can talk bitcoin protocol,
so that keys/accounts etc are kept seperate to the bitcoind
software - ( im assuming this is where rawtransactions come into play ?)
Anyway,, how much would I be looking at to hire someone ?
