To be honest with you, I use Bitcoin almost all of the time to pay for goods and/or services. I don't usually touch cash (Fiat), unless it's something I cannot pay with Bitcoin. But now that there are virtual and plastic cards which allow you to use your BTC to pay at any merchant accepting VISA/Mastercard, avoiding Fiat entirely becomes an easy task. I can't tell you how great it is to live only on crypto, especially when only you control access to your funds (no middleman). I can spend BTC anytime without going through ID/credit checks, or even having to worry about "hidden fees". It's true freedom if you ask me.

What's left is for Bitcoin to become widely accepted by countries worldwide, and you can say goodbye to Fiat for good. But I doubt that'll happen anytime soon because governments don't want to surrender Fiat over anything else. At least, we have an alternative to the existing monetary system. As long as decentralization prevails, nothing else matters. Wink

Basically, the main result is that people use it AT LEAST once a month, sometimes more. That is a good thing, it shows that it is not just about trading and people use it. I have to say, I have talked with my friends to start a new "startup" recently, not going to do it, but we checked the market and saw that there are dozens of people who hire marketing companies every day.

It means that we shouldn't really be shocked to learn that there are different results for different purposes. Regular person may or may not be great, but we could definitely end up with a person who never "used" it, whereas we could have people who use it a dozen times per day too.

I used bitcoin once every week and multiple times in a month, I don't have to transact bitcoin on daily basis, I rather hodl my coin in the wallet, once the need arises to transact part or the whole coin I do send to Binance for a P2P transaction to fiat, this is done at least once in week especially when I needed some fiat for some basic stuffs like payment for goods and services because in my country bitcoin hasn't been approved as a means of payment in fact it had been ban, however thanks to anonymous bitcoin transaction which allows users to transact swiftly without government agents tracking the transaction.

Aside Bitcoin trading I at least transact twice a month and 1 a week using Bitcoin, though Bitcoin transaction is banned in my country and there is no stores that openly accept Bitcoin payment ,but I have come across a Bitcoiner that is into buying and selling business (clothing , shoes, jewelries and watches ) and he is in a different City from where I do live , So I do order things from there shop which I sometimes I do pay him with Bitcoin when I ran out of fiat and this payment using Bitcoin is base on agreement between both of us and terms and conditions involved is that he only accept my payment in Bitcoin when it's a transaction that involves $50 above .
Then sometimes I equally do some transaction in Bitcoin when I buy something from my friends that are into Bitcoin trading.

For reasons of security and compliance with applicable laws in my country, it is realistic for me not to use bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency for the purpose of paying for goods or services. I use bitcoin as a currency on several gambling platforms, but it's a different thing for something like adopting it as an optional currency every day in real life.

In the end I can say bitcoin or cryptocurrency is not a legal currency in my country as a means of payment. It is a commodity asset that can only be used for trading and investment with established regulations.

If we calculate the statistics of people who is using Bitcoin for daily purpose or engagement it's few not many. But from what i understand currently, i see that many people is using Bitcoin for importations of good's and services. I know that as many as we expected that come into cryptocurrency are using Bitcoin often. Because some people is afraid of cryptocurrency despite that it now in form of a global currency

If it was about trading,  then I did say that I use bitcoin everyday,  I buy,  and hold,  and when in profit,  I resell to later buy at a lower price again.
But talking about using bitcoin outside trading,  that is for payment for goods and services and all that,  I did say almost never,  sometime in July this year,  I bought a motor bike with full payment in bitcoin, this was the first time I ever bought a thing and paid in bitcoin,  the spent bitcoins were replaced the very next day by the way.
I have bitcoin I kept as investment for future,  and I have another set which I trade with ,  I personally do not have any plan or want to spend bitcoin on paying for goods and service,  atleast,  not now.

I make bitcoin transcation once per week when i received my signature payment via bitcoin. Other times I use other cryptocurrencies.  Because transaction fees in other cryptocurrencies are much lower than Bitcoin.  And the transfer speed is very high then btc. So I find it more convenient to use other coins than Bitcoin most of the time
Too bad that people can only choose one answer or can only vote one time in the poll because I believe that many users here are like you that also uses altcoins and tokens other than their bitcoins because there are times where bitcoin fees are high and then the network is heavily congested. We can't afford to wait any longer when we are in a hurry like we will play gambling or purchase something that we will use immediately like phone credits.

I think for some who are currently enrolled in a bitcoin paying campaign. They will only do one btc transaction per week and that is by moving their bitcoin salary to their main wallets.

I use bitcoin maybe atleast 5x a month. There is a payment merchant here in our country where you can use bitcoin to top-up credits on your phone. I spend my bitcoin to buy credits when I need some mobile data when I'm outside our home. I also use it sometimes to pay our electricity bill if the usual digital wallet I use is not available. I avoid spending too much of my bitcoin as I treat it as my savings for emergencies. I also feel it's a waste spending it when I see the price is increasing over the years.

There are no real statistics to see but probably users use thier BTC mostly on gambling platforms.
Many times a week I guess if there are some sports matches to be on. Stake.com pays its campaigners on its platform, either participants bet in the casino or just withdraw making them use BTC weekly. If Stake just has some internal exchange, I might just be investing in altcoins but they don't.

I've never used bitcoin because I'm a beginner in crypto and bitcoin. so for now I just continue to save bitcoins because I think bitcoin in the future the price will be very much high,
Well in that case, welcome to the Bitcoin community, landheer. Just continue hodling Bitcoin and you will just be fine plus in the side, you have the freedom to hold your money as much as you want without involving any other authorities. Don't forget that it is not just all about the price of Bitcoin that matters, it is also the freedom that it offers to us.

I personally prefer to save my funds in bitcoin and will use bitcoin everywhere whenever they allow me to use bitcoin instead of other methods otherwise I will exchange some new share of my bitcoins to fiat just to buy something when they don't allow me to use bitcoin, but since bitcoin is banned in many countries or cannot be accepted as a payment method I guess the answer can be different for other people depending on where they live and they kind of rules they have in their countries.

Looks like I am part of the majority that uses bitcoins less than once per month. The crypto bear market this year is the main reason for me to not use any bitcoins anymore. With prices below 40,000 USD it feels to me that bitcoins are very cheap and I don't want to give mine away cheaply. Using bitcoins for purchases means to reduce crypto holdings while saving fiat money. And this year I want to do the exact opposite. With inflation around 8% it makes no sense to keep any fiat cash around. The only form of bitcoin transaction I am doing now is buying new each month and use bitcoin whenever I withdraw money from a casino.

Everyone's mouth is full of adaptation and they wonder why some people or governments are against Bitcoin, and at the same time, with their interpretation of Bitcoin, they are killing its essence...

I agree with your larger interpretation. I just merited that guy because he didn't have any merits.

Bitcoin was born to be used.

Thanks for the explanation, because to some extent I can understand that people who invest only for the sake of profit, everything else is irrelevant to them - so even though I'm a hodler to a greater extent, I still try to contribute to using Bitcoin as well as currency whenever I have the opportunity to do so. When I see how excited people are when they actually buy something for Bitcoin, I wonder why so many people hesitate to do so with so many online stores offering that option.

Once a month or less and and twice a month having the most results is surprising actually. I would think that most still consider btc to be a store of value, rather than a day to day curency. If things are changing in favor of actually using BTC rather than just storing it, than we might overcome some issues that have been looming over it (and acusations that btc is just a speculation commodity).

Not always. Just once in a while, maybe whenever I have a special need to settle some bills. I try to convert my bitcoin to fiat. Apart from that, I hodl it.

The country I come from is not in support of bitcoin transactions. It's out of bounds.

can't count it for sure. but within a month I always use it for transactions. in small quantities of course. because I was always too dear to take it out. I only use it when I'm in a pinch. like my fiat ran out. sometimes i use it every week. sometimes every month.

because my friend became addicted to always getting paid by BTC when I needed him. I've had a transaction with him once. and now he keeps asking me to pay him with BTC every time I buy something I need from him.
ah and because my family started accepting bitcoin knowledge. sometimes there is my brother who asks for a gift for him with btc when there is a celebration event such as a birthdayhahahaha.

I don't know the real meaning of the OP question, is it doing BTC transactions as a means of payment or just as a tool for investment or trading?
because if the OP meant as a means of payment, then to be honest if I only used it once when buying an application on a web, but in the real world, I have never used bitcoin to pay for services or goods because it is illegal in our country. whereas if the OP question was to use BTC for investment transactions or trading in the market, of course, we probably have done it many times.

The OP's question is indeed ambiguous and there would be several answers to mention. About the use of BTC or BTC transactions I also often do it on the type of investment made. However, for real transactions for the purchase of services and goods, I have never and should not do so because of regulatory issues that do not allow it. Maybe buying a website or other domain on another country's site may not be a problem. But in my own country it is not allowed. Currently, fiat payments are still the main payment and cannot be replaced.

Even if I don't use it daily, I have the chance to use it 4-5 times a month. Because sometimes the network is busy and when I want to transfer with a low fee, the transfer does not arrive on time. As such, I have to look for a cheaper and faster network. I like bitcoin but here's the thing. If I can transfer money faster and with lower fees on another network, I prefer it.

Before my arrival to this forum, I had known Bitcoin as an investment asset. As people in my neighbourhood would always say "I bought bitcoin and it's price rose, and my money is doubled or tripled". Well, I didn't give in to the testimonies because it happened when ponzi scheme was at its peak in my country. So, the testimonies sounded purely like a ponzi scheme, the only difference was that in the bitcoin, nobody compelled them to introduce anyone to bitcoin to get referral bonuses.

To shorten the story, my understanding of bitcoin was that you buy, hold for sometime, re-sell and make profits. But when I arrived the forum and came across bitcoin whitepaper, I understood that the original idea of Satoshi for bitcoin is not actually how bitcoin is playing out. While Satoshi proposed it as a currency but decentralized as against the centralized and rigged fiat, many are using it as an investment.

Then my greatest confusion came when I stumbled on a post where a user claimed that he hasn't spent a Sat since 2014 he knew bitcoin, that he has been hodling. He received plenty accolades and praises as a die hard believer of bitcoin.
Then in another thread, I saw someone who updated how he paid for groceries and services for bitcoin and he also recieved accolades and praises that he is a propagator and believer of bitcoin.

Now, I am confused on what the bitcoin community desires, whether to be a hodler or a spender. Personally, I am not opportune to make physical trades with bitcoin. The only few times I have used bitcoin was to pay for a vpn, pay for data services and most regrettably pay for a project that turned to be a scam(this happened before I joined the forum).

Just hope that you balance out both methods of payments equally so as to not overspend bitcoins that would get you a bigger selling price in future.
Don't worry, I have other job in real life besides earning on Bitcoin, so it's pretty much planned to be honest  Cheesy
Sometime the time could be really difficult to manage because you may want to buy something with it but with how I've managed so far, I'm pretty much proud with the result I have gotten until today.

The saving and expenditure system can be applied to your bitcoin earnings too if you are careful.
Also am doing DCA with small amount of my salary to Bitcoin, so double the earnings I think  Grin

Multiple times a week in my case because I’m receiving my signature campaign per week and I distribute on my exchange wallet and electrum wallet(savings) since I received my weekly payment on my casino account. This is my weekly routine and sometime I have some extra transaction on paying online for my online purchase.

I’m planning to donate some of my earnings to foundation in monthly basis to save transaction fee. I think this will my only transaction on Bitcoin for my year calendar unless I’m ready to spend my savings.

Leading answers are once a month to once a week.

As for me, I use Bitcoin nearly every day because I am into online betting and at times play games in online casinos nearly every day. Other than that, there is not much use case anymore. Before I used to purchase mobile loads and pay my bills with Bitcoin online. Not my country is becoming more strict in regulating cryptocurrencies. What a shame. Even Binance is now in danger of being blocked in my country since it is operating without a license despite its willingness to apply and comply with all the rules.

Once a month or less, never sounds too bold to mention. I used to trade in the past but have now stopped, honestly, I don't recall making a single Bitcoin transaction in the last year. My last one was probably me selling my Bitcoin to opt for DeFi investments approximately 2 years ago. Since then, I've been holding any BTC that I've acquired.

It is rare that I use my bitcoins, only when I need money urgently do I use them, I prefer to accumulate my bitcoins rather than spend them. I find it increasingly difficult to earn bitcoin because bitcoin is more and more popular and people tend to hold bitcoin more than years ago. I don't want to spend the bitcoins I earn, I will try to hold as long as possible.

Definitely a few times a week, there are moments I use it daily. If we are talking about using as in spending it, that’s the case, if we are talking about trading then I am doing that daily. That’s the difference, I have transactions where I move money around every single day, but only few times a week goes for spending it. When you are so much involved in the crypto world, you have to get paid and then pay up as well to make it go on.

You cannot just take money forever and expect that to go on, sometimes you need to spend money to make money. That’s what I am doing, I spend money to make money and usually that happens to be a good method for me.

Do multiple times a week because need to pay my electricity, internet and other bills in weekly time. Just like in the question that besides trading, probably they will hold some as well as me but since Bitcoin is also one of my income so would make sense to pay those bills while you are in profit on trading then you can use those profit to pay something else or even hodl it even more.
You are living on bitcoin it seems, which is a good think and I do envy you for that, in a friendly way. Cheesy

Being able to spend their campaign earnings for daily necessities is something that we all would want to do. But currently most users are only spending it with fiat money they get while the bitcoins are being held back. Just hope that you balance out both methods of payments equally so as to not overspend bitcoins that would get you a bigger selling price in future.

Between twice a month and once a week

I do make accumulation between my signature campaign earnings and my trading earnings to be saved on 2 weeks time and then this is the time i do decide whether
i do pull off some portion of it for some expenses or needs and the rest would really be saving up for long term.Ive been doing this for how many years although
im really into long term holding but there are instances or situations that cant really be avoided on not to make up some spending with your coins
specially with bitcoin or trying out to covert it out actively.

I have separate wallet that is entirely for the payment of bills through Bitcoin usually it is in custodial wallet since services there are already provided and the bills I pay does not accept P2P Bitcoin transaction so I might reconsider alternative method to at least pay my bills without the hassle of going through any falling in line.
It is twice in a month that I usually do Bitcoin transaction specifically. Good thing my wallet service does not charge that much in conversion, lol.

Not so often... I tend to accumulate most coins as possible before transacting to save a little bit on fees. Usually, I transact once every 2 weeks my signature earnings to an exchange as destiny, so I can sell it for fiat in order to use the money for my daily expenses.

Sometimes unexpected events or opportunities appear in crypto universe or even in my life. When it happens, I make extra BTC transactions.

If there were more offers of goods in general accepting bitcoin as payment, while charging affordable prices from customers, without any doubts I would raise my bitcoin transactions considerably!

In my country, Bitcoin related transactions was banned by the Apex bank in early 2021. Prior to this time I had used bitcoin for payments at shops owned by friends where bitcoin payment was accepted. Post ban, I can't remember using it. It there for long term holding. And a lot of people are now saving in their money in bitcoin. There are still a handful of stores and business people that accept payment, this is rare and the individuals are few.

But one of the things that I like to do the most is when I can avoid making an international transfer and then someone at the destination receives my satoshi and deposits/pay with a local transfer (or cash) my commitments, bills.

For now, I have never used bitcoin from the assets I own to buy or shop for my needs because apart from my country no one has accepted bitcoin as a legal tender (fiat is still dominant) on the other hand, I am also not interested in that . But indeed I feel this is not forever because I also want to experience shopping through bitcoin at least once.

I think I use it multiple times a week. Because of trading, I basically loved to trade in the pair of BTC. Yeah, I think it's actually a good decision for me to choose the BTC pair. If I get a BTC pair, then yeah, I love to trade in BTC pairs. And that's my actual use case. Otherwise, I didn't use bitcoin for any other merchant or usecase because bitcoin is illegal in our country, so I could only use it in trading pairs. And what I loved to do was thank you.

Fortunately and unfortunately, my local exchange offers various services and convenience where I can convert my BTCs to our local currency. Our local exchange also has the option of paying your bills (with my converted BTCs to cash) or cashing them out to various remittance services. The downside is, this gives somehow removes the opportunity of having to save my BTCs for long-term due to the convenience of converting them to cash.

Due to this, I mostly spend my BTCs at least once to twice a month depending on my own needs or my family's. I mostly spend my BTCs in purchasing books and educational materials for my brothers since having a single dad raising 4 brothers and a sister is relatively difficult.

I used bitcoin in a multitude of ways. I, like many here, use bitcoin as an investment so in that sense I “use” bitcoin each and every day. In term of making payments or buying things I use bitcoin maybe once or twice a week on average. I hope to bump that number up as time goes on.

This is a cool poll, as I've been wondering about that as well. Trading is an obvious use case, and some also use Bitcoin for gambling which I guess also counts (but I forgot about it when voting, to be honest). I was also not sure about the matter Upgrade00 raised, regarding selling for fiat. I decided not to count that either, but it actually shows that one would've paid with Bitcoin directly if it were possible. And then, of course, we have hodlers who don't use Bitcoin often and probably qualify to 'never'.

I make bitcoin transcation once per week when i received my signature payment via bitcoin. Other times I use other cryptocurrencies.  Because transaction fees in other cryptocurrencies are much lower than Bitcoin.  And the transfer speed is very high then btc. So I find it more convenient to use other coins than Bitcoin most of the time

op is talking about using bitcoin for everyday payments like shopping and utility bills, i don't think he is referring to bitcoin transactions between platforms, if you are a bitcoin trader then you may not be able to calculate your daily transactions

i also don't do a lot of my bitcoin transactions, i mainly accumulate and hold for the long term
sometimes  need cash, i will sell some bitcoins for fiat money because bitcoins where i live are not popular

For the past month, not once except for p2p selling, which I do about twice a month. Travelling back to the South reminds me you can pay for things with so many more things (all kinds of digital cash) but unfortunately, not much options for Bitcoin. In fact, only passed by one cafe accepting BTC and it was a tourist trap cafe.

Back where I reside, at least once a week for food. Also when travelling alone, airfare and hotel if possible.

Seems to me it has not really gotten easier or more diverse to use Bitcoin since I first did about 5/6 years ago.

Could just be my spending habits but I really do my best.

Gambling deposits count? If so, add in one or two a week on average during sports season.

Honestly, if the transaction is in the trading category almost every day I make transactions in Bitcoin, because that category is not included, so I only make transactions four times in one month, it can be said that the average transaction I did, even though one month there were more, but four times it was normal.

@nutildah I would like to wish you good luck on the project you are currently managing Shitcoin, future hope can be a brilliant project in the crypto market.

The situation in my country is such that I have very few avenues of spending cryptocurrencies, majority of which is through gift cards and although they are useful, they are not an alternative, hence I am rather holding my coins in the hope of better prospects in the future.

Mostly trading every few days when the market swings happen in majority of my transactions.

I guess the situation is different in first world countries where bitcoin ATMs exist and spending coins is much easier. I do envy them for this and the fact that some countries are going backwards in civilization due to different reasons or motives.

Adoption in my area has gone down over the last years. I suspect that people who accepted bitcoin before stopped their businesses because they are rich (this is not a joke I saw it). Was not a lot of adoption though in my area to beginn with.

I don't have many assets left, and the majority of my assets are locked in staking. So the use of BTC is very low from my side. Many traders use BTC daily,     but for me. I will lose everything in trading if I try to trade. Not really good at it, so! That's that

few times a month. Just bought a gift card, gonna pay for my seedbox later and will renew my vpn subscription next week.

nice to see there are people here (more than 70%, according to the poll) who actually spend their coins, i thought the majority here were part of the "to the moon, get rich hodl forever until it hits $1 trillion" team. satoshi & co would be proud (:

Honestly, I have not directly used BTC BTC to buy goods and services because my country's government and it agency called Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) ban and instructed all banks not to transact with BTC or anything concerning Cryptocurrencies. Therefore, the only way for me to use the BTC weekly is to convert it to the Fiat currency every week then I use the Fiat currency to buy anything I want and also use it to pay transport and other services. I am also planning to use it daily in the sense that I will be buying and selling BTC every day, but that is not guaranteed because of my location. But I have made a direct transaction of BTC with a friend but it was not for goods.

If we ignore the use cases in speculation, transfer between platforms, echange to fiat, we will have two use cases, namely direct payment or debiting the crypto account (whether it is direct or via debit cards.)

 - Assuming the two options above, I think I use Bitcoin 1 to 3 times a month with an average of twice a month.
 - If the answer includes all options, I think the number ranges from 30 to 60.

Yes I mostly use Bitcoin. In other words, I trade Bitcoin every day. Because I buy most Bitcoins from people and hold them and sell them when the Bitcoin price goes up. To be honest, I consider it my business😁Because if you hold Bitcoin and sell it later, you get a lot of profit.

Now I only used bitcoin when paying for my servers/proxies/VPNs/domains. Just a few times a month. A few years ago though when I was a heavy gamer, I used to spend my bitcoin A LOT on skins and with the occasional eSports betting.

Unfortunately there's still not much opportunity for me to spend BTC.

I use bitcoin to buy web hosting services, virtual private servers, gift cards (e.g., Spotify premium, Google Play cards), and anything else that exists virtually (i.e., domain name registration). I prefer using bitcoin on services wherein I want to remain private, hereby every Internet service. I'm making transactions about twice a month.

I don't use bitcoin to acquire anything with a physical beingness besides electronics (such as a RPi). Stuff like food, clothes, alcohol etc., are paid in paper money and I'm ok with that. I prefer using physical cash above bitcoin whenever that's possible. That's because bitcoin works better as a savings account.

I voted for Between twice a month and once a week. Because I'm using my bitcoin to pay for my bi-weekly and monthly expenses like  water/electricity bills and internet and sometimes credit card, although it is not a direct p2p but someone in the middle to convert my bitcoin to fiat and then pay what I needed to pay. And then the rest that I earn was kept.

I can say that I buy/pay for something with Bitcoin almost every week, whether it's physical products or digital services, and that it has become completely normal for me. Although I have to admit that I always pay for some more expensive things with BTC when we are in a bull market because I get more value for less BTC, this does not prevent me from paying with the same currency all year round.

I recently discovered a very interesting online store that accepts BTC and I bought some interesting things, and the last transaction where I bought something was this week - so I'm keeping a good pace Wink

Currently not so often, but that has to do with the prices. I had finished a small competition here in the forum, than i send a little. But i basically don't want to send BTC for these prices. A little gambling and a few purchases. If the prices were higher, I would definitely spend/buy/send a lot more. I currently hodle most of it.

Voted "Once a month, or less".
I only use Bitcoin when I need some cash to cover my monthly expenses or when I have to send money to my friends overseas. Other than paying my credit card and have some cash for emergency, I rarely spend my Bitcoin. Just because paying with Bitcoin for goods and services is now illegal in Türkiye we can't spend Bitcoin like that. Sad but government always take wrong steps about this. They had a great opportunity to use crypto currencies but they chose the wrong path, as they do in everything else.

Weekly. I spend what I earn in signature campaigns, and I and save the Bitcoin (or rather the satoshis) that I buy. I use it for a variety of online purchases. Not much more to add, it is part of my weekly routine.

I mostly use Bitcoin to pay a subscription e.g. VPN or bought a gift card to give for my friend birthday, aside from that, nothing more. So I only use Bitcoin once a month or less and not doing too much transactions, if you consider gambling as a transaction then I did it for multiple times in a week Cheesy

I don't think many people are using Bitcoin regularly if their countries aren't Bitcoin friendly or accept Bitcoin as a legal tender.

Use Bitcoin to buy something in e-commerce crypto-accepted platform, not too often
Use Bitcoin to trade on exchanges: daily
Use Bitcoin to get cash (fiat): sell Bitcoin and get fiat. Each 2 or 3 months.

Honestly I have never used Bitcoin with Lightning Network.

To be honest, I don't have any option to use bitcoin. So it's a form of investment to me. When I had purchased my first home back in 2017, I coverted a good amount from my holding to pay the token amount to take care of the registration cost and other government taxes. Since my bitcoin savings helped me to take care of such a huge expense, I don't usually sell off my bitcoins.

I see one person has responded as daily. I would like to know his/her experience.

I believe the answers would be heavily dependent on the region the respondents are from. There are places with a greater online purchase culture than most and they would have more options to use Bitcoin directly for purchases.
Yeah, I suspect those living in cities will have much more opportunities than those that don't to spend their Bitcoin. I literally don't know how a shop that accepts cryptocurrencies around me. If you go to Cardiff, I'm sure you'll see quite a few, but even then I don't think it's widespread. I imagine bigger cities in America are the ones which will be finding more use for Bitcoin.

I literally only use Bitcoin when its only Bitcoin being accepted, and usually at a good price. My latest transaction was joining a betting group over in the gambling section, and before that I hadn't made a Bitcoin purchase in as long as I can remember. I've become a hoarder basically.

I've said before though, as soon as mortgages, groceries, and utilities are accepting Bitcoin, then Bitcoin becomes a much more lucrative thing to use for almost everyone. Until then, it'll probably be hoarded by the vast majority.

If its the number of times I convert some of my bitcoins to fiat for use, I'd say often and it is mostly due to the fact that there are no retail/commercial offline vendor that are close to me currently who accept bitcoins, so fiat is the language they understand...I have heard of places like some hotels etc where bitcoins are accepted but not so close to me. If I happen to be in one of such places, I wouldn't mind at all.

If its the number of times I use bitcoins directly, I'd say currently I use it occasionally, and it is usually to fund my wallet on my crypto online casino to gamble once in a while. I suppose that should count as a transaction.

I haven't seen any store accepting bitcoin in my country, that's really bad so I haven't spent my bitcoin before, I only trade and hold it, Also whenever am in need of money I convert it fiat using P2P. I hope one day I will be able to make purchase with bitcoin, but currently most stores are scared because of Central Bank ban on accounts linked to cryptocurrency, I think that's why they are scared they don't want their accounts to be compromised, but am sure time will come when everybody will be able to spend their bitcon freely in my country.

While the remainder of my earnings are saved for long-term storage, I frequently use bitcoin to pay for an email aliasing service premium account, bills, and rent once a month. As a college student who is living independently, I have no choice but to use some bitcoin to pay for these expenses.

To prevent my bitcoin from being drained, I also have a other source of income that I use to buy my meals on a daily basis.

Just note that only the email alising service is the one I pay with bitcoim directly, other than that, I need to convert bitcoin to my local currency.

No store is accepting bitcoin in my area, the CBN ban makes some people to publicly avoid bitcoin, they just prefer to hold it. I have no option than to convert bitcoin to fiat for spending.

I have only used bitcoin once before to make an official online payment, it made the payment easy for me, but it was a cross border payment.

I wish to use bitcoin directly but no one to pay directly aside friends.

The only altcoins I prefer are stable coins, I hold some if I know bear market is coming while converting it back to bitcoin after a massive bear market.

How often do I use Bitcoin directly, without having to convert it into fiat first? Mighty few times, maybe once a month or less.

Where to spend Bitcoin physically around me are not readily available and I do not perform online transactions as much; when I do, they seldom rarely accept bitcoin for payment.

I believe the answers would be heavily dependent on the region the respondents are from. There are places with a greater online purchase culture than most and they would have more options to use Bitcoin directly for purchases.

Just from the response of my vote casted, i perform transactions ones or twice a month and barely ones in a week all because i personally have my monthly plan and budget on how i use my bitcoin for my personal and economic life, unlike those that engage in trading, i think they often engage in performing transactions more than twice a day depending on the position and types of trading they get into, once i make my own transaction for the month, i maintain having my digital asset untouched so as to avoid unnecessary spendings, since am not that involve in trading like others, but my priority is to ensure a desciplined use of funds by avoiding over spendings that are unaccounted for.
