Just now, I found that the secure folder has an option to hide the folder under settings>Biometrics and security>secure folder. This is what I want I could hide my wallet on the apps screen. It seems I want to like this new feature I can even hide my secrets under this folder.  Cheesy

So, what if you have a wallet and later decide to root your phone. Do you lose access to your wallet? Is it linked to your Samsung account, or is it all phone-based?
I just found this What happens if I root my device that is running a Knox service?

It seems that there is a two-option if you want to use the built-in based or the cloud service.

I tried to check the backup option under the settings of secure folder this is what I found below.

So you need an account if you want to backup it with your Samsung account then you can retrieve the backup to other Samsung devices.

I think it depends one how one is going to disable Knox because there are around 3 ways but the secure folder has an option to backup your data and it's also linked to your samsung account(in case you forget your password and need to recover it)
If you root your phone even once, using Samsung pay is impossible (even if you "unroot" it). No one has a workaround for this, and maybe they'll do the same mechanism for the crypto wallet. I don't know how this works right now, but when I had an s8, rooting it meant what I had on my secure folder was gone, and I never saw a way of recovering it. They should put a warning at the crypto wallet screen (if they don't already have one) warning people about this.

I just thought of something. I'm pretty sure if you root your phone, Knox gets disabled and you can't use the secure folder, samsung pay and all these protective features. Samsung Knox is actually a preinstalled security feature in samsung. I have never seen any complaints in regards to security but it gives trouble to people who want to root their samsung phones (which i believe you will never do) by preventing any rooting app/program from accessing certain files.
I personally remember having alot of trouble rooting my samsung phone a couple of years back.

"Knox is certified for use in government installations in the following countries: Finland, France, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, Spain, The United Kingdom, and the United States. It's also FIPS 140-2 and ISCCC complaint in certain configurations. What this means is that organizations like the U.S. Dept. of Defense think Knox is safe enough for its employees (items with clearance levels of sensitive or lower) to use. That means it's also safe enough for you."

So i think that suggests that it secure.

The secure folder you see acts as a security layer with in your phone. So your phone is more like a 2 in 1. You can add the apps you feel like need a little more security into the folder and that secure folder should usually have it's independent password from the phone's main password.

You will have the some apps in the secure folder and others outside the folder but the data of the app inside the folder will be separate from that of the app outside in case you have copies on both sides.

In other words any app outside the secure folder cannot access the data of apps inside.

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy A10 it comes with Samsung Knox which is a new feature for the latest Samsung phones but how safe and secure is Samsung Knox?

I tried to research this but I can't find the answer on Google and don't know how to use it.

I just found a folder on the phone name " secure folder"

I tried to add some of Bitcoin wallets like Electrum, Mycelium, and Coinomi. Every time I close the folder it asking for a password it is likely the same as folder lock that you can install on any Android phones what is the difference of this folder compared to folder lock?

Do you think is it safe or I just don't know how to use the Samsung Knox?

If someone knows about how to use the Samsung Knox can you guide me? Maybe I did wrong about secured folder.

The reason why I bought this phone because my phone wifi is totally dead and I can't replace a new wifi IC. Samsung A10 is pretty cheap and it includes the Samsung Knox that I heard from Samsung S10. Since I don't have much budget for S10 I tried to search for an alternative phone with Samsung Knox and I found Samsung A10 here on the market the price is around $85 so I decided to buy it.
