Both BCH and BSV proponents have been researching the possibility of implementing safe and secure zero-confirmation transactions within their blockchain networks. If successful, this could be a greater alternative than Dash's Instant Transactions with Masternodes. However, it's only a matter of question whenever 0-conf transactions are safe or not for the real world.

AFAIK, enabling 0-conf transactions would allow the attacker to easily perform a double spend. I'm not exactly sure what would be the mechanism to prevent a double spend from occurring, since I’ve always known that the more confirmations a transaction has on the network, the better as the chances of double spending declines.

What are your thoughts about this? Huh
