thx everybody,i never got this problem before.the btc lost at last Sad
why don't you ask the sender to resend that bitcoin transaction again
if he's honest, he will resend again to complete his deal with you

is this a bitcoin payment for product/service? deal in this forum? or what?
if that sender is a member of this forum, expose him with solid evidence to get him red tagged by DT members

The only logical reason as to what happened is that the bitcoin sent to you by the other person has not reached is maximum blocks confirmation or there is traffic.
Sometimes the duration for it to Hit your wallet you should be rest assured that once a bitcoin is on your wallet it can't be taking out again by the sender

Thats why its advised to wait for at least 1 confirmation. Then its extremely hard to "cancel" but with 0 confirmation its very easy to do for technical person.
You learned something today, look at bright side of this, but also i hope this lesson didn't cost you too much.

This is the exact reason why most services require a certain number of transaction confirmations(usually 3+ is enough, depending on the amount) before actually approving the payment.  It really doesn't take a lot of research to immediately learn that bitcoin transactions aren't instant.

A costly mistake, but hopefully you didn't lose much.

A little more details would be appreciated, please post the txid.
In which wallet did you expect to receive the transaction and have you downloaded it from the official site?
Did you create the wallet or was it given to you as part of the deal you made with the other party?
According to op the transaction is gone and he can't find it again so there's no point to ask the TXID and I believe this is double spending that is why the transaction is gone.

There are 2 possible causes.

- The transaction might be rejected by the network(if the transaction is not yet included to the blocks for too long)
- The transaction might be sent but unconfirmed(possible doublespend)

I would like to add another option. Did the guy send you a link where you looked up the transaction? If yes its possible that this link was manipulated to show you a wrong transaction state. If not, it would definitly be very helpful if you could send us the TxID

You can post the bitcoin address here so that we can check if the transaction is gone or maybe blockchain doesn't allow the transaction to show in their explorer due to low fee I heard that it's possible. So try to use other block explorers like https://btc.com/ or https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/

If it's new, there should be "1+ confirmations" displayed below the tx, are you sure that it's a legitimate blockexplorer?

If it's unconfirmed, that guy must have used the same input to a new transaction, it's called "Double-spending", it's possible if the transaction doesn't have a confirmation yet.
Usually, scammers time this during "heavy mempool times" when transactions are taking a lot of time to get a confirmation (like last week till yesterday).

Do you know the address that was used by this "one guy"?
If you do, type it to live.blockcypher.com and it will show you the latest transactions, what differs it from other explorers is: double-spend attempts will be displayed (in red as: Double-spend attempt!) as long as the other invalid-unconfirmed transaction is still in their mempool.

I'd say the amounts of RBF's performed vs double-spends used to "scam" in high-fee tx pool times is roughly a 1000:1 ratio. Of course we don't know anything about OP's case specifically, but it is highly probable that the user who send him money simply performed a RBF, which results in a different transaction ID.

The older txID will naturally be dropped from the mempool i'm pretty sure.

But that still does mean that there's an amount of BTC coming to the original receiving adress -- Can't you simply check that OP, or give us some more information to work with to determine what happend/is happening here?

It probably has been double spent, so the previous transaction was dropped by the nodes and explorers.

It is impossible to reverse a bitcoin transaction once it was initiated means there is no way to get back the bitcoin wallet on sender's wallet. For detailed explanation read this thread: i want to cancel unconfirmed bitcoin transaction

Can you post your TXid to know the transaction was actually made or you just got scammed.
